Ethan (Confessions #7)(48)
Author: Ella Frank

“Fits us.”

“Right.”

Ethan placed a hand to Zayne’s chest and looked him in the eye. “So what does that mean to you?”

“Exactly what you said. She’s ours until you say otherwise.” Zayne grinned. “Or she wakes up, safe-words out, and runs for the fucking hills.”

“I don’t think she’ll be running anywhere tomorrow. But that’s fair.” Ethan looked up at the windows of the suite above, and thought about the gorgeous redhead who’d walked into their club and somehow ended up in their bed.

She was unexpected, unfamiliar to their way of life, and one hundred percent under their skin.

“So, for now, we’re in agreement?” Ethan said. “We keep her.”

Zayne pulled him in close, kissed his lips, and grinned again. “We keep her.”

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

You have to let go to really fall into it.

But once you get there, you’ll never want to leave.

~ Zayne

THE SOUND OF water lapping against the shore woke Chloé from a delicious dream where she was stretched out between two gorgeous men whose arms and legs were entangled with hers.

The bed was soft, the covers like a cloud, and as she snuggled in under them, one of the men swept her hair back from her face and whispered, “Wakey, wakey, Red.”

Chloé cracked an eye to see a crooked smile, stubbled cheek, and disheveled hair on the pillow next to hers.

“There she is.”

And there he is—Zayne. The flirty charmer with the devilish smile.

She sighed and stretched beneath the covers—wouldn’t you know it; not a dream. The material was smooth and soft against her legs, the canopy above the bed billowed in the breeze, and it was the first time she’d really had to luxuriate in it.

The first night she was in this bed she’d been tied to it, so her focus had been elsewhere, and rushing out to get to work the next morning had left her little time to really enjoy the suite in the light of day.

But as her eyes adjusted to the sunlight streaming in through the windows now, she felt as though she were on some kind of relaxing vacation.

“Mmm, morning,” she said, and shifted on the mattress. When her muscles protested, she groaned.

Zayne’s chuckle filled the room. “Little sore this morning?”

Chloé arched a brow. “You should know. I’m pretty sure the outline of your hand is imprinted on my ass.”

Zayne grabbed hold of the covers and whipped them down the bed, making her gasp. “Roll over; I’ll check.”

Chloé scrambled to grab the duvet and pull it up under her chin. “Ugh, you’re the worst. I was all warm and cozy.”

He shifted, rolling his massive, naked body on top of her and bracing his arms by her head. Chloé sucked in a breath.

“Well, if that’s the only problem, I can keep you warm.” He rocked his hips over the top of hers, and his erection bumped against her thigh. “If your ass is sore this morning, I can only imagine how tender your sweet little pussy is.”

“Oh my God.” Chloé buried her face in the pillow, but Zayne wasn’t having any of that. He took her chin and turned her back to face him.

“Shy?”

“Um…” She bit her lip and shrugged. “I guess?”

“Why?”

“Because people don’t just say things like that.”

“I do. Ethan does.”

“I know. But other people don’t.”

“Who cares about other people?”

“Everyone.”

Zayne laughed, and the vibration of his chest against hers felt amazing. “I gave up caring what everyone thinks a long time ago, Red. But if it makes you feel better, we won’t discuss”—he slipped his hand under the covers and between her legs—“your sweet little pussy unless we’re in private.”

“Ah…” Chloé moaned and shut her eyes.

“Is that okay with you?” He dipped his fingers between her wet folds.

“Yesss.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yesss, sir.”

“Good,” he said, and removed his hand. Her eyes flashed open, shooting daggers at him. Zayne grinned and rolled to his side. “Okay, okay. Sheathe the claws, kitten. Your body needs a rest.”

Chloé squeezed her legs together and had to resist the urge to put her hand between them and finish herself off. But he was right—anything more than a warm bath might be a little much for her tender body.

When she finally calmed down, it occurred to her that they were one man short, and she sat up to see if Ethan was anywhere in sight. But somehow, she already knew he wasn’t. As crazy as it was, she could feel him. When Ethan Holt was in a room, she automatically knew it.

“He’s probably downstairs having his morning coffee.”

“Oh, okay.” She rested the covers over her breasts and glanced at Zayne. “Last night was…”

He reached up and twirled a piece of her hair around his finger. “What, Red?”

“Intense? Amazing? I’ve never felt anything like that.”

“And how did you feel?”

“Like…like I had an out-of-body experience.” She slipped back down under the covers and turned to face him. “Like, I was floating high and watching it all happen. I felt crazed, desperate for whatever you two would give to me. I wanted everything, and—”

Chloé cut herself off.

“And?”

“I feel like I would’ve done anything to have it.” She frowned. “That scares me a little.”

“That’s completely normal. You finally let go last night. You stopped thinking and just fell into it. What you were feeling was a sense of euphoria, but that’s when you have to trust that Ethan and I will look after you. That we won’t do anything—or let you do anything—that will hurt you.” He brushed the back of his hand over her nipple, making her shiver. “No matter how desperate you get.”

Chloé sighed and rolled to her back. “I never knew it could be like that.”

“I didn’t either.” He flashed a sinful smile. “But after the first time, I knew I’d be back for more.”

“With Ethan.”

“Right.”

Chloé studied his rugged face and thought about that for a minute. When was his first time with Ethan? How long had they known each other? She was so curious but wasn’t sure it was her place to ask. Was it too personal?

What the hell am I talking about? I’m in bed with him, naked.

“How long have you and Ethan known each other?”

A soft kind of light entered those dark eyes, and Zayne smiled. “A long time.” He rolled to his back, tucking his arm under his head. “Fifteen years. We met in school.”

“School?”

“Yeah. We did go, you know.”

She wasn’t sure why, but that was the last thing she’d expected. She couldn’t imagine these two as schoolboys. “High school?”

Zayne turned so he was looking her in the eye. “Boarding school. Kings Boarding School for Boys. It took all ages.”
