I grin at him. I can’t help it. I have no doubt he means that with complete sincerity, but I’ve never met anyone in my entire existence who will work so hard to be lazy.
“Okay. Thank you. All of you.” I shift my gaze from him to each of the other sins, trying to ignore the flap of butterflies in my stomach. “So what do we do next then?”
Beckett exchanges a rather put-upon look with Remington, then sighs. “It means we need to call in backup. Our… other three brothers.”
My eyebrows shoot up so fast they practically hit my hairline.
