Wanton for the Wolven King(40)
Author: Kristen Strassel

“Then we better hurry.” He pulled at his cravat and headed to the water. Master Bow had sent some special outfits for him that had fasteners that he could easily open and close with his paws. He grinned as Phillipa gasped at the growing pile of clothing on the water’s edge. “Will you be joining me, my lady?”

“You know I can’t resist you, wolven. Even when you lead me straight into scandal.” She turned her back from him, so he could help her with her dress.

“No one is here.” He kissed her shoulder. “I promise this will not wind up in The High Tea.”

Phillipa stepped out of her dress but left her dressing gown on as she stepped into the water. Wesley moved ahead of her, submerging himself fully. The water wasn’t terribly deep, but enough that he could be wet to his chest while standing. Phillipa took a few tentative steps. The way the sun shined on her, he could see right through the thin fabric.

His mouth watered as he approached. “Do you know how to swim?”

“Yes, but I have not done it since I was a child. I rather liked it.”

“Then why won’t you let yourself do it now?” He pressed his body against her, his wet fur making the dressing gown stick to her. He rumbled in approval. “You deserve to be a little wild as well.”

She gasped when she looked down at the dress. The white fabric had become completely transparent. Giving Wesley a disapproving look, she stepped forward. The dress pooled on the surface of the water as she submerged herself and she pushed the water away.

Wesley swam after her, splashing as he got closer. He didn’t expect her to splash back.

He splashed again, and she responded with more intensity this time. “I did not realize the lady had a competitive streak. Seems that I will learn more about you every day, Duchess.”

“I had no idea either. You bring these things out of me that I have no idea I am capable of.” She bobbed in the water, laying back and putting her body on display.

Wesley’s cock was rock hard under the water. “Let’s go to shore.”

She nodded and swam after him. They were barely out of the water before they started kissing. He lifted her, cradling her body against his, and then lay her down on the grass.

His muzzle was on her breasts, sucking them through the wet fabric. “Wolven,” she moaned. “Was this your plan all along?”

“If I’d told you I craved to be inside you in the sunshine, you would have never said yes.” He could hardly keep his mouth off her long enough to talk.

“This is why we should stay in the country. All the wicked things we can do with no one watching.”

Wesley trailed his paw down to her thigh, hooking his claws into the hem of the dressing gown. “There are plenty of hidden nooks and crannies I have yet to introduce you to in Bournehurst.”

“I shall be looking forward to it. Oh!” She exclaimed as he ripped the hem of the gown, exposing her sex.

He pushed her thighs apart. Even though he’d teased her about being worried about guests, they would be arriving any time. But there was something about seeing this woman naked and writhing with need in broad daylight.

Moving down her body, he put his lips on her sex, licking and sucking her clit. He loved the way she reacted when his nose bumped against her nether parts.

There were some things he would miss very much about being wolven.

“Wesley.” The word was as shaky as the rest of her body as her orgasm built. “The things you do with that tongue.”

“Tell me more about them.” He loved watching her come undone. The wet fabric on her body made this even sexier for him.

“I can barely speak!”

“I have all day, my love.” He’d moved his fingers between her legs, massaging her slick sex as he enjoyed the way her breath rolled through her body.

“You don’t.” Her breath became shallow, and she cried out. “Our guests.”

“Well, then I best give you my knot.” He sat up and gave his cock a rough pump. Her body was always most welcoming to him after orgasm. Her muscles were still throbbing, but they had learned to stretch to accommodate him.

Phillipa squeezed her eyes closed, her lips parted as he thrust inside her. The sound of hooves startled them both.

“Wolven,” she whispered.

His knot swelled, locking his body inside hers. He held her tight, protecting her. His fur would camouflage them if any passersby could see them.

“You feel so good inside me,” she said softly. “But there are people—”

“They kept going.”

“We have to get in the house.”

“We shall enter through the servant’s entrance.”

“You have an answer for—oh!” she exclaimed as his seed sprayed inside her. His body slumped, and as the knot lessoned, he thrust softly inside her, in time with her pulsing muscles. “I will miss that.”

“Good thing I had one more chance to give it to you.” He kissed her forehead and slid his arms under her body, lifting her. He’d never felt more like a true wolven king than he did at that moment. “Come, my love, let’s get ready to get married all over again.”

There was one last matter that had to be settled while Wesley was still wolven.

He’d asked Ainslee to meet with him on the terrace. Phillipa had invited all the fae to attend their ceremony, and she feared they would not come. Wesley knew that they would, because he made a promise.

A dozen fae sat on the table, waiting for him. Each one was as uniquely colored as Ainslee. Some were born to blend with the greenery of the forest, and others were meant to mimic the shades of a garden in full bloom. They were truly magical creatures.

Wesley had been nervous about this meeting. What it would feel like to be around so much fae magic. He had completely abstained from magic of any kind since the night that Ainslee had saved him.

“Wolven.” A male fae stood at the edge of the table. “It was against our better judgment to come to this meeting. But as we all adore Lady Phillipa, we are here in the interest of creating a harmonious union with her new estate.”

Wesley bowed. “I very much appreciate that after the pain and suffering I caused your kin. I will keep this simple, as I’ve already asked a lot of you. I offer my sincerest apologies, and I would hope to make amends. But I am not sure what to do to make relations better between us.”

The fae turned to his kin. There was a buzzing sound that Wesley had heard many times. Fae language. His gaze landed on Ainslee, who watched her elders negotiate. He hoped he could gauge his expectations on her reaction.

But he could not.

“Wolven, our utmost concern is the gardens and woodlands that surround the Woodhaven. We understand that the estate is for sale, and we could lose our home as a result.”

“That is a very important concern,” Wesley said. “I am in talks to purchase Woodhaven. If the sale goes through, no changes will be made to your homeland. If the sale does not go through, I would invite all of you to make your new home at my Bournehurst estate in Chelmsford. It’s not quite the same as Woodhaven, but I guarantee that you would find many of the same comforts.”

“Very well. And you agree to not seek any more of our magic?” The fae asked.
