My Roman (Boys on the Hill #1)(37)
Author: Rose Croft

“Fuck, Theodora,” he groaned, while I roved slowly over the mushroom head, teasing him, savoring his salty taste. Soon, I took him deeper. Getting the feel of his thickness in my mouth. His head fell slack against the door and his fingers threaded through my hair. I relaxed my throat because it was a lot to take in. My tongue traced a path from his tip to as far down as I could go, and he clenched my head tighter. I slid my hand under his balls, cupping and caressing them while I kept a steady rhythm.

“Jesus, it feels so good.” His grip dug into my scalp, and he thrust into my mouth My eyes watered as I felt him hit the back of my throat over and over. It was overwhelming, but I wanted to take him to the brink, and I was charged by his words. “That’s it. Take my cock. Take it all.”

I felt the slow trail of tears trickle down my cheek as he fucked my mouth harder and deeper. “Shit. I’m. Gonna.” He inhaled as if he were gasping his last breaths of air and groaned as his cock seemed to go so deep I had to fight my gag reflex. “Theodora,” he grunted my name as I tasted his cum filling my mouth.

I drank him in swallowing every drop as he relaxed his hold on my head. He cupped my face as I swirled my tongue one final time over his cock. I peered up and licked his taste off my lips. My throat felt scratchy as I rasped, “I like hearing my name on your mouth.”

He thumbed my bottom lip watching me in fascination as though I’d just found the answer to world peace. “I like having your mouth wrapped around my dick.”

I gave him a look of surprise, but he laughed as he dragged me to him closely. “I like everything about you. Too much. Too fucking much.” He drove his lips into mine like time was overrated.

“I’m taking you home,” I said as I released her and tucked my already semi-erect cock in my pants that was rising to life again like a phoenix before I changed my mind and fucked her in Taylor’s guest bedroom. What I planned to do with her, I wanted more time. Not at a party. I’d learned from my mistakes. In that sense, me fucking Theodora, probably wasn’t the smartest move I could make all things considered, but it was happening regardless. Eventually.

“I came with Nick.” She straightened her dress and ran a finger through her hair.

“So?” I asked casually, although I already knew. Although it still pissed me off when she mentioned his name. Earlier, he and I had come to an understanding. Or at least I thought we had. It was basically me telling him that if he touched Theodora, then I would break his pretty boy face. I’m paraphrasing, but Nick knew the score and at this point he was just messing with me. I’d rather have him hanging around her instead of some douchebag like the Ralph Lauren ad reject who was trying to dance fuck her from behind earlier.

In fact, I told Nick earlier to accompany her friend home and I’d take care of Theodora. He was concerned because both Kenzie and Justin were drunk and about to have an embarrassing argument. Justin was our teammate, but he was also a piece of shit when it came to boyfriend material. Nick was actually a decent guy when he wasn’t trying to fuck his way through school. But he never led on girls. Everything was always mutual. “I spoke to him. Besides, he already left to take your friend home.”

“I know, but I thought he’d come back.”

“Disappointed?” I fingered her neck that I knew would be bruised. A silent reminder who she belonged to.

“What, about Taylor?” she rebutted with furrowed brow. “So, you two…”

“As you can see it’s a show.” I exhaled, feeling a sense of relief telling her the truth. At least this truth. “For our parents. They thought it would be the perfect way to join the families.”

“Like an arranged marriage?”

“Kind of like that.”

“So you will marry her eventually?” Her voice was laced in disbelief.

“No. Taylor and I are keeping up this front to appease our families, for now. Her father is running for Lieutenant Governor and as soon as the election is done, this sham will be too. I’ve known all along that Taylor’s preferences run toward the same sex, but her parents aren’t exactly progressive in their thinking, nor accepting in that sense. Taylor and Jill have been together in secret for a few years. They love each other, and I’m just trying to protect her.”

“Your father won’t be happy when it ends.”

“I will deal with my father.” I pulled her in close. Soon, I vowed. Soon, I would be out from under Pop’s influence. “Trust me.”

“Where is she?” I asked, staring at Kenzie who stood at the door in a tank and yoga pants looking like she’d seen a ghost. When Theodora didn’t show up to class, my concern grew. When she didn’t answer my texts or calls, my annoyance jumped in along with my concern. When she didn’t show up for work, apprehension curled through my system. She desperately needed this job and wouldn’t do anything to fuck it up. When I dialed Duffey’s, Chris only said she’d called in and told him it was a family emergency.

“She’s not here,” Kenzie answered quickly as her eyes darted around while I stood in the dorm hallway knowing she knew where Theodora was, and I would wring this girl’s neck if she didn’t start talking. “I don’t know where she is,” she added as her eyes shifted away.

She started to close the door, and I held out a palm easily keeping it open. “You do know, and you better start talking now. Her boss said she had a family emergency.”

“I don’t know—”

“Goddammit. What happened? If she’s in trouble, I need to fucking know!” I shouldered inside and slammed the door shut before someone saw us. “Is she okay?”

Kenzie rubbed her temple, staring down at the floor. “She’s fine. It’s her mom.”

I stood there, waiting for her to continue, but she didn’t. Jeez, for someone who usually had a lot to say, it was like trying to pull teeth to get information out of her. “You want to elaborate?”

She closed her eyes briefly. “She’s in the hospital. She overdosed on pain medication.”

“What?” My voice rose incredulously. Rhonda had never been someone I pegged as having a drug addiction. As far as I knew, that woman rarely had a sip of alcohol whenever our family had parties where she was invited. “Where is she?”

She walked over to her desk and pulled a yellow sticky note. “County Memorial.”

It was a small hospital about fifty miles away. I knew because my father had actually given a large donation to them and in return had a hospital wing named after him. Luckily, they didn’t know what a true asshole he was, but his money made up for most of his shortcomings. I rushed out of the room and sent a text to my coach telling him I couldn’t make practice this afternoon. Why I felt I needed to go to her? I didn’t know. Yeah, I did. I knew she’d be alone and scared. I jumped in my jeep and took off down the main road.

It wasn’t hard to get the room number, and I took the elevator to the third floor. As I strode past the nurses’ station, passing a pack of doctors a few doors down was room 314. The door was partially open and I paused, peeking in, not wanting to cause a shit storm by surprising Theodora or her mother if she were even conscious. I saw Rhonda sleeping with IVs protruding from her arm. I pushed the door wider and stepped in to see Theodora curled up on the mini sofa by the window. Her palms rested under her cheek with eyes closed. Her hair was pulled back in a makeshift ponytail. She looked so small and vulnerable.
