Alpha Force Elite : The Full Seven-Book Collection(12)
Author: Mazzy King

My climax builds inside me as I gaze down at him. I move both his hands to my breasts, and he squeezes and massages them eagerly. My head falls back, and my hips move with a mind of their own, just as they did when I rode his tongue a little while ago until I came on it. And now, I’m going to come all over his thick, delicious shaft.

With a loud moan, my pleasure breaks. Heavy waves of it rush over me, and I go mindless, just focusing on the sensations of him inside me and underneath me. I meet his eyes again as he reaches his own peak, flooding me with his seed.

I collapse on his chest, and he holds me close, his magical fingers skimming over my back, tracing my spine.

“I don’t want to leave,” I say quietly.

“Me, either.” He massages my scalp. “But our ride will be here to take us to Lanikai in about an hour.”

I smile into his chest. “That’s not what I meant.”

He sighs. “I know. But at least we don’t have to stop this when we get home.”

In a stroke of absolutely serendipitous fortune, we discovered after our first night together, as we talked over fresh pineapple and Nutella crepes the following morning, that we both live in the DC area. He told me about his work with Alpha Force Elite, and a little about the guys in his small squad, and where they love to hang out. In turn, I told him about my work, how I came to be in Hawaii, and where I live. I did not mention anything about Alan. Why taint something beautiful with something ugly?

It seems a little weird to have vacationed with my boyfriend before he became my boyfriend, but I’m all about going with the flow now.

We get up, clean up a little, and get dressed in comfy hiking clothes, which for me in Hawaii, consists of a bikini under a loose tank and running shorts. The trail we’re tackling today is called the Pillbox Trail, and Anthony tells me it’s not for the faint of heart but offers some of the most stunning views.

We hit up the resort breakfast buffet, dining on eggs and fresh fruit. I can’t get enough of fresh Hawaiian pineapple.

The trail, as warned, is no fucking joke. Uneven ground, steep hills, and narrow paths abound, but it is absolutely thrilling. I haven’t done much hiking, and this is the first time I’ve tackled a trail like this, but I love every second of it. Anthony is as nimble as a mountain goat and helps me along, encouraging me as we go. When we reach the first “pillbox,” a small square shelter that was used during World War II, we take a little break and indulge in the incredible view.

There are two pillboxes in total, the second being farther up. I eye it, catching my breath and guzzling water. “Let’s do it.”

Anthony raises his brows. “Are you sure? Don’t forget, we still have to make it back down this thing. I don’t want you to overdo it. This is a challenging trail for a beginner.”

I smile. “I want to do it. Besides, you’re a great coach.”

He smiles and reaches for my hand. “Then forward march, Marine.”

By the time we reach the second pillbox, I’m pretty spent but victorious. Anthony helps me to climb on top of the pillbox, which terrifies me since we’re so high up and the wind is blowing so hard.

“I’ve got you,” he says softly, wrapping an arm around my waist. “I’m not going anywhere.”

I turn to look up into his dark eyes. This trip has been full of amazing moments, but this one might be the one to top them all. Behind him, the gorgeous Pacific Ocean stretches on for miles and miles. The white, sandy beaches seem to glisten in the bright sunlight, and palm trees sway in the wind. Oahu, and all of Hawaii, must have some kind of gentle magic, a protective spell that envelops its visitors and residents in a bubble to keep away the worries of the real world, and to introduce mere mortals to what enchantment truly feels like.

Even if I come back here in the future, to this very place, with this same person, this moment will never, ever happen again, and I refuse to let it pass me by. I’m terrified, but what I need to tell him is stronger than my terror.

“I love you.”

He blinks. Then a slow, sweet smile spreads across his beautiful face. He doesn’t ask me if I’m sure. He doesn’t ask me how I know. He doesn’t ask me how it’s possible when we met four days ago. “I love you.”

As we kiss, for the first time in, well, my whole life, I actually feel like I’m alive.

“I’ve got two words for you,” Anthony says as we stand in line at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. “Loco. Moco.”

“What the hell’s that?” I ask, mystified.

“Just you wait and see,” he says with a grin.

He orders that and chicken katsu for me. I fill our drink cups from the soda machine and find a little table near the back of the crowded restaurant. Based on how many people are here eating or waiting in line, the food must be good.

Anthony returns, carrying two trays and sets a biodegradable takeout box in front of me. I pop the lid, grinning at his excitement as he sits across from me and eagerly rubs his hands together. My chicken katsu looks and smells incredible, and it’s served with a scoop of sticky Japanese rice and a scoop of what looks like macaroni salad.

“That right there is a Hawaiian treasure,” he says, pointing to the salad. “I’ve tried to recreate it at home, but nothing compares to real Hawaiian macaroni salad.”

“Okay, let’s see this mocha-chocha-loca thing,” I say.

He laughs and dramatically pops the lid. I peer inside and see two hamburger patties covered in gravy and topped with two sunny-side-up eggs, rice, and macaroni salad. He flashes me the shaka hand sign. “Loco. Moco.”

I burst out laughing. “You’re lucky you’re in better shape than Superman. Otherwise, you might have a heart attack from that. We probably both will.” My food is utterly delicious, and I can’t help but moan as I wolf it down. I’ve built up a huge appetite from our hike and subsequent ocean swim.

“Thank the military,” he says and dives into his container.

“Maybe I should have you train me.” I pat my belly. “I could probably stand to lose a few pounds.”

Anthony looks up at me and reaches across the table for my hand. “I will help you do anything you want. But I want you to know I think you are absolutely gorgeous the way you are.”

I smile at him. “Thank you.”

“I mean it.” He kisses my fingers.

My cell phone rings, and I jump, having forgotten about it entirely. I dig through my beach bag, where it rests at the bottom, and pull it out. “It’s my boss.”

Anthony cocks his head. “Isn’t he here?”

“Yeah.” I answer the call. “Willem?”

“Lyla!” he says merrily. “Just calling to see how you’re doing, how you like the resort.”

“The resort is fantastic,” I reply. “And I’m doing great.”

“Not having trouble finding things to do?”

I glance across the table at Anthony. He lifts a brow and gives me a sexy smirk. “Nope. Not in the slightest. I went on a hike today, actually.”

“Wonderful! Well, I won’t keep you, but I thought I’d see if you’d like to join my wife and me for dinner tonight. We’ve got reservations at Hy’s Steak House here in Waikiki. Our treat.”
