Like I said, he’s the perfect father and husband.
Dylan wraps his arms around us both, pressing his lips to my hair. “That wasn’t my only Yule wish.”
“I know, you want to get lucky later.”
“I’ll never turn that down, but that’s not my wish, either.”
“Do tell, Mr. West.”
“I want another baby with you. I know it’s soon, but I adore this family. I want to keep adding to it.”
I release a nervous titter, especially considering my boobs are still leaky and my belly somewhat jiggly. “I’m not that enticing right now.”
“You’re more gorgeous now than you’ve ever been before. And when you were pregnant? Damn, you were smoking hot.”
“Is that why you couldn’t keep your hands off me?” I tease, although it’s true.
“Sunshine, I’ve never been able to keep my hands off you. What do you say?”
“Can I have my body back for a little while?” Yes, I’m bargaining, even though I’m totally on board with another baby.
“You wanted the gaggle. I’m giving you the gaggle.”
I laugh, kissing him hard. How can I argue that logic?

When she’s not writing or holding one-sided arguments with her characters (spoiler alert—they always win), she loves losing herself in nature on her North Carolina farm, one of her many rescue buddies at her side.
“Life is beautiful…so are you. Don't forget to look up.”
