Home Plate (Easton U Pirates #2)(34)
Author: Christina Lee

“Yeah…it does.” He sighed dreamily. “It’s better than constantly having that other feeling.”

I sobered. “What other feeling?”

He groaned low in his throat. “The one that’s sort of like having the flu.”

I sat up on my elbow and stared at him. “You’re saying I’m like some sort of virus?”

“Yeah, you make me feel all feverish and shit.”

The room grew quiet as the tension intensified.

“You make me feel feverish too, and sometimes I just want…” I made a frustrated noise, unable to put my feelings into words, not where he was concerned.

“Want what?” His voice was soft, earnest.

“Want…you.” Plain, simple, to the point.

Maclain let out a strangled growl, and before I could decipher what was happening, he was in my bed, on top of me, my hands pinned to my pillow this time.

“Fucking hell, Dominic.” His entire body aligned with mine as he pressed me hard into the mattress.

“Wait a minute, why are you naked?”

He arched a brow. “Why are you?”

Well, damn.

My hands scaled over his solid biceps to his back. He was hard and smooth everywhere I touched. His breaths were mingling with mine and his hips were already grinding persistently. If he continued his onslaught against my groin, I probably wouldn’t last much longer.

Just as my skin was practically burning from his touch, he suddenly slowed down and sat up, with me still pinned beneath him, much like that night in his room. I figured this was the part where he’d freak and bail on me.

Instead, he looked down at me with affection blazing in his eyes, and it made me lose my breath. His hand brushed gently over a fresh bruise on my bicep, then glided up to my jaw, where his fingertips curved against the fresh stubble. I wondered if he’d had the same thought—how would it feel against his own?

“You’re so fucking handsome, Dominic. I’ve never thought that about another guy before, so maybe I was repressing it, or it took you to help me see…or maybe you just appeal to me most.”

Holy shit. It was the most honest he’d been with me when not in the throes of passion.

“You’re killing me here.” I groaned and angled my cheek into his palm, seeking more friction, more everything.

“And yesterday, when we were…pretending, I didn’t want… I didn’t like the idea of you being with another guy, which is so fucked up.” He averted his eyes as his cheeks darkened. “But I was completely turned on by it, too, because it gave me a pass to just fantasize.”

My breath stalled on my lips because holy confession time, Maclain.

“Guess that was the intention. I didn’t think you’d allow yourself to let go otherwise.”

“I can let go…if I feel safe enough.”

He rocked his hips a little as our cocks aligned again, and I bit back a curse.

“You’ll always be safe with me, Mason. You know that, right?”

Our eyes connected, and I held my breath until he gave a slight nod, the uncertainty in his features receding.

“So it’s your turn now,” he said with more conviction as he fisted my dick, making me gasp. Jesus Christ. “Want me to get us off like this, or…?”

“I like looking at you because, let’s face it, you’re hot. But…” Now I was the one blushing. But wasn’t this what we were doing—helping each other explore this stuff? “I really want you to turn around so I can…see your ass.”

He groaned. “Who’s killing who now?”

I smirked. “You asked. But if you don’t feel comfortable…”

He didn’t let me finish, just threw his leg over my lap and turned, then straddled me again, facing away from me. His balls were resting on my lower abdomen just above my groin and, ah fuck, this vantage point was way too nice.

“Like this?” he asked in a shaky voice, no doubt feeling way more vulnerable in this position, and I wanted to reach out and encircle him in my arms, feel his body against mine and hold him closer.

“Damn, just look at you.” Now my cock was positively aching. “You’re gorgeous.”

He threw his head back and moaned, rocking a little as he did. “You can’t say stuff like that.”

“Sorry, but it’s true.” I swore under my breath as he scooted forward so the tip of my shaft was angled toward his, both stiff and standing at attention. “Wind your hand around our cocks and get us off.”

So he did, swiping his thumb over our slits and using the precome as lube. He stroked us in a jerky motion until he got the right rhythm. Our cocks rubbed together, providing the perfect friction, and I had to clench my jaw to keep from losing control.

I focused on his smooth skin and tall frame. His shoulders were muscled and strong, the line of his back glistening with sweat, and having a close-up view of his ass was making my pulse beat erratically. “Can I touch you?”

A strangled groan. “I think you know the answer by now.”

He shivered as I gently slid my fingers down the knobs of his spine to his ass, feathering my fingers over the smooth globes.

“Do you ever wonder what it might be like to have someone touch you down here?”

“Fuck…” From his profile, I saw him screw his eyes shut.

My hand stilled on his hip. “Is that a yes?”

“Truth is, I’ve been curious about all sorts of things,” he said, gripping our shafts tightly together and increasing his strokes. “Just don’t know what I’m ready for.”

“S’okay, me neither. I just like looking at you.”

“Your hands on me feel amazing too.”

“Fucking hell, Maclain, I want to touch you all over. Make you feel good.”

I squeezed the meaty parts of his ass with both hands, which parted his cheeks, giving me my first glimpse of his crease, and farther down, his tight hole.

I moaned from that visual alone, and he lost it. His strokes turned choppy and he arched his back, his thighs trembling. “Oh God, I’m coming.”

I felt him shudder, and it was enough to send me sailing straight after him.

We were panting openly as we slowly came back to ourselves, and I dragged my fingers over the small of his back to soothe him, in case he was feeling vulnerable.

Eventually, he released our softened cocks and slid off the bed to reach for a T-shirt on the floor. He wiped us down, then pitched it into the corner of the room.

“Well,” he said, “we should get some—”

“Don’t leave.” My fingers curled around his wrist. “Sleep here. With me.”

“I…I shouldn’t.” But he didn’t sound at all convinced.

“Yeah, you should.” I tightened my grip, hoping to persuade him that I needed him right then as much as he needed me. “You really should. Please.”

After only a brief hesitation, he slid under the covers with me, let me wind my arms around him from behind, and sighed contentedly. I was still getting used to the idea that he was allowing me to hold him. Pretty heady stuff.

“Dominic?” he whispered.

“Mason?”

“Thanks for believing in me today.”
