Sinful Heir (The Heirs #6)(12)
Author: Michelle Heard

“You’ll like sailing then,” Tristan says, looking pleased with my answer.

“Do you work regular hours?” I ask another question.

Tristan shakes his head. “Usually, I’m still at the office at this time of the day, but I made an exception tonight.”

“Once I start at Trinity, I won’t be able to see you during the week,” I warn him.

His eyebrow lifts slightly. “Studies?”

“Yes.”

“I’m good with weekends,” he murmurs.

TRISTAN

I’m not good with only seeing Hana on weekends.

We’ve been officially dating for two weeks, and the weekend thing isn’t working for me. It’s Wednesday, and I haven’t seen her since Saturday after taking her home from Studio 9, a nearby club. I’m going to kill the next person who looks wrong at me if I don’t set my sight on her soon.

Steering the car through the gates of Trinity Academy, I find a parking bay. I never thought I’d be back here again. Yanking out my phone, I send Hana a text.

T: Come down. I’m in the parking area.

Seconds later, my phone lights up.

H: Be there in 10 minutes.

I could go up, but knowing she’s sharing the suite with seven other people, even if they are friends and family, makes me hold back. I’d have to talk to them, and I really don’t have the patience right now.

Getting out of the car, I leave my door open as I wait for her.

Finally, my eyes lock on Hana as she comes out of the dorm. She crosses the road, and I watch as she glances over all the cars until her gaze lands on me.

She’s dressed in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, making me wonder if she changed clothes. I waited until late so she would have time to study. Thinking she has to sleep, she might as well do it next to me.

When she’s close, she says, “I didn’t know you were coming over.”

“I had to see you,” I growl.

Unable to wait for a second longer, I lift a hand to the side of Hana’s neck and the other to behind her head, and then my mouth crashes against hers.

When I taste her, my body shudders as it receives it’s shot of adrenaline. Unlike the previous times, the kiss catches me off guard by being gentle and… profound. It becomes a sweet torture that makes my heart thunder against my ribs.

I massage her tongue, memorizing the velvety feel against mine. My lips knead hers, wanting them swollen.

Hana grips hold of my shoulders, and her body presses into mine. Not breaking the kiss, I lean back against my car and lock an arm around her to keep her pinned to me.

She brings her hands to my jaw, and the kiss takes on a life of its own. It alternates between leisurely tasting and urgently devouring as if it’s following the beats of our hearts.

My hand slides down from her neck to her ass, taking in the womanly curve of her body. Slipping my hand under her shirt, her skin is so fucking soft, it draws a groan from me. Her ribs are like piano keys, each one my fingers touch makes her breaths speed up until she gasps as I cover her breast.

My thumb brushes over Hana’s lace covered nipple, and feeling her pebble from my touch makes me grow impossibly hard.

The sound of a car beeping nearby makes Hana yank back so fast, the sudden loss of her leaves me reeling.

Hearing students laughing, my gaze snaps in their direction. “Get in the car.”

I slide back behind the wheel, and when I’m alone with Hana again, her eyes dart to me before she glances around the parking area.

I start the engine, and it has Hana asking, “Where are we going?”

“My place.”

“Oh,” she whispers, quickly putting on her seat belt.

Silence fills the cab as I drive to the luxury apartment block where my penthouse is.

I park the Mercedes Maybach in the designated spot, and getting out, I go open the door for Hana. I take hold of her hand as I shut the door and struggle to keep my pace slow for her to keep up. When the elevator opens, I pull her inside.

I swipe the keycard and press the button for the top floor. My fingers tighten around hers as we ascend to my penthouse. Only when we step into my personal space, do I begin to relax a little.

Turning my body toward her, I keep staring at her while she glances around at the open plan living room and kitchen.

I take in how she wipes her hands on the sides of her hips.

“You have a beautiful home,” she says, her voice softer than usual.

My eyes narrow on her, and when she swallows before finally meeting my gaze, I ask, “What’s wrong?”

“I didn’t expect all of that to happen.” Her hand flutters nervously between us.

She’s been nervous since we got into the car.

Taking a wild guess, I ask, “Me touching you?”

Hana nods.

I know she said she hasn’t dated and she’s a virgin, but… “You haven’t been touched before?”

Hana nods again.

Holy. Fuck.

Needing to know where her mind’s at, I ask, “Are you uncomfortable?”

She thinks for a moment, then she shakes her head. “No.” She turns her body to face me. “It was just… overwhelming.”

“In a good or bad way?”

The corner of her mouth lifts. “Good.”

My lips curve into a pleased smile.

I take a step closer to her, and it makes her instantly tense. “Don’t worry,” I murmur. “We won’t have sex tonight.”

There’s still a lot I want to do with her before we get to that stage.

“Okay,” she breathes.

My gaze is locked on her as I slowly move forward until there’s almost no space left between us.

Hana tilts her head back to look up at me. Her breaths starting to come faster.

The corner of my mouth lifts. “Are you okay with second base… for now?”

Christ, I haven’t used those words since highschool.

Hana takes a moment to think again before she tentatively nods.

Lifting my hand, I brush my fingers from her jaw down to the dip of her neck. “Will you stay the night? I’ll have you back at the dorm early tomorrow morning.” I see the hesitation in her eyes and add, “I won’t do anything you’re not ready for. You’re safe with me, Hana.”

She takes a deep breath, then whispers, “Okay.”

Now that I’m able to relax, knowing I have her for the night, I pull back and ask, “Can I get you anything to drink?”

Hana shakes her head as she steps around me. “No, thank you.” I watch her walk to the sweeping bay windows, which give me a view of the city below. “Wow,” she murmurs. “You can see everything from up here.”

I drop my keycard and key in the bowl next to the elevator, and when Hana turns back to me, I gesture to the stairs. “Let me show you around.”

I wait for her to walk to me, and taking her hand, I lead her up to the second floor. We stop at the first room. “My study.”

Hana walks inside and trails a finger along the surface of the oak desk. “Do you work here a lot?”

“Not as much as I’d like to,” I admit.

I show her the guestrooms and restroom before I walk into my bedroom.

Hana hesitates in the doorway, her eyes scanning over the black bedspread. “You like dark colors.”
