Taken by the Tiger (Alpha Claimed #2)(26)
Author: Milly Taiden

“We’re in Vegas?” she squealed. “This is awesome!”

He chuckled. “I guess you’ve not been recently?”

“No,” she sulked for a second, before grinning broadly again. “The last time I came to Vegas was for my twenty-first birthday. It’s a total hazy memory, though. We did too much drinking and partying and not enough seeing shows, gambling and other fun Vegas stuff.”

“This is going to be Vegas, adult style,” he winked. “You’re going to have fun,” he said solemnly. “I promise.”

“I know I am,” she said with reassurance. “I’m with you. That’s all that matters.”

From the moment she told him she loved him, his fear over whether she’d accept being his mate dissipated. Now all he wanted was to finally make her his and fuck her senseless.

Another limo met them at the airport and took them to their hotel. He’d reserved the presidential suite at a five-star hotel for them. He grinned at the way she stared out the limo windows like a kid at an amusement park.

When they got to their hotel, they went straight to their suite and did their registration there. He glanced around and nodded. This was exactly what he wanted. To pamper his mate and show her a good time.

“Ryan!” she screamed from the bedroom. “We can see the fountains from here!”

“I know, love.” He laughed and watched her rush into the living room.

“There’s two bedrooms in this place. Two?” She waggled her brows. “I guess we each get our own?”

“Not on your life, you little tease,” he chased after her and tossed her on their bed, lying flat over her. She spread her legs open to cradle his body and ran her nails into the back of his head.

“I love you,” she sighed, her eyes the brightest blue he’d ever seen. “This is so thoughtful. Thank you.”

He grinned, kissed her, then pulled her to her feet. “We need to shower and change to make our first show.”

“A show?” she gasped. “Which one?”

“Nope. We have lots to do so get your ass in the shower,” he shoved her toward the bathroom and slapped her ass.

“But,” she pouted, “we can save water if we shower together.”

His cock hardened and for the first time in his life he growled a negative. “We won’t get out of here for hours if that’s the case. You have ten minutes.”

She ran into the bathroom and turned on the water. He glanced down at his aching erection and groaned. He was going to use the other bathroom, or he’d stand there like a fucking idiot, staring at her shower through the glass. Watching the soap bubbles slide down her gorgeous curves and make his balls hurt in the process.

“I’m ready!” she yelled and walked into the living room, leaving him breathless.

“You…” he gulped. “You look beautiful.”

She smiled and twirled in a circle. “You think? I didn’t know what to pack so I might be over or under dressed.”

He wanted to see her undressed but the satin mini dress with lace sleeves and black heeled sandals were definitely perfect for the night.

“No,” he cleared his throat. “You look perfect.”

His tiger agreed and both he and the animal were beyond enamored of their mate. His chest tightened. He knew having a mate meant new feelings all the time, but this was new. This flood of emotions filling his heart were unusual and he didn’t know what to do with it.

“Are you okay?” She blinked. “Your face…you look angry.”

“Fuck,” he growled and pulled her into his arms, lipstick be damned, and he kissed her, hoping that he could show her with his lips how he felt. The way his heart expanded with a single smile from her. It was surreal. Then he pulled back and stared into her eyes. “Angry is the last thing I am feeling.”

She licked her lips and let out a soft breath, gliding her hands over his suit jacket. “You look so handsome,” she told him. “I could eat you up.”

Eat him up? She had no idea the dirty shit running through his mind. He’d fucked her four different ways in his head and that was just in the first three seconds of seeing her walk into the room.

They watched a sexy show called Le Rêve. He missed most of it because he was so caught up in holding his mate’s hand and watching her reactions to the show. She was mesmerizing. She leaned into him in her seat and would smile at him every few minutes.

Afterward, she kissed him and groaned when he bit her lip.

“That was fantastic,” she gushed. “I’ve never seen anything like it.”

“With all the traveling you’ve done,” he said. “You mean to tell me you don’t do things like sightsee and go to shows?”

She shrugged and picked up her clutch. “Not really. My travel has been mostly strictly foundation work and that means third-world countries to help them find ways to lead better, healthier lives.”

He guided her out of the show where someone snapped a picture of the couple next to them. She turned her face and body into him. He instinctively glared at the cameraman and the guy skulked away.

“It’s okay, love.” He squeezed her shoulder and led her back to their limo. “Time for dinner.”

Her head jerked up and she grinned. “Food. I knew I liked you for a reason.”

“Well, let’s hope you still like me after you see where we’re going.”

They ended up at one of the most romantic restaurants with a view. A Japanese restaurant with a fantastic menu and a view he knew she’d enjoy. Their table was the sole one outside, front and center of a gorgeous waterfall.

“Oh,” she gasped and looked at him. “This is so pretty.”

Once seated, they ordered wine and he lifted her hand to his lips. “I hope you’re having fun.”

She leaned in and kissed the corner of his mouth. “Are you kidding? This is the most romance I’ve gotten in my entire life.”

They ate lobster and Wagyu beef rolls for appetizers. Then they had grilled lobster with tiger shrimp and for dessert, which he knew was one of her favorite parts of dinner, they brought out three different types of cake.

She licked her lips and immediately dipped her fork into the chocolate cake and took a piece, lifted it to his lips and beamed. “You get first bite.”

She had no idea how true her words were.

Chapter Twenty-Four

“I need a shower,” she sighed and slipped out of her dress, kicking her heels off and heading straight for the bathroom. She was tired and could sleep for hours, but she’d had such a great time. Using a makeup remover wipe, she took off the makeup she’d put on earlier and then turned on the shower spray.

In the shower, she let the warm water soothe and relax her before soaping up her body with some body wash and her own loofah. A moment later, the glass door opened, and Ryan joined her in the walk-in shower.

He pressed her back against the cool tile, kissing her and running his hands over her body. The loofah fell to the shower floor and she curled her arms around him, kissing him hard.

He pulled back, his body now soaked from the warm spray. “You’re a work of art.”
