Bossy(34)
Author: N.R. Walker

“It’s you in the suit. I’ve never wanted anyone else like I want you.” He kissed me again, deeper and harder, and holy hell, I would have let him fuck me right here. No condom, no lube, no matter. I just wanted him, needed him, ached for it . . .

Then he pulled away.

Christ almighty.

“Fuck,” he gasped, taking a step back. He took a few deep breaths, a slow smile spreading across his smug and handsome face. “Glad you suggested here and not your office or we’d be putting on a very public show right now.”

I barked out a laugh. “Suggesting we meet here wasn’t for the purposes of privacy. Believe it or not. I have papers for you.” Then I had to palm my now-aching dick. “Goddammit.”

He smirked and bit his bottom lip. “I’ll take care of that for you tonight.”

“You fucking better.” I held up three fingers. “Three times. I’m not accepting anything less at this time.”

He made a mock-pained face. “You drive a hard bargain.”

“I’d just like to point out that my demand for three times doesn’t have to be three orgasms for you. It means three for me.”

He laughed, long and loud. “Don’t think for one second you’re getting more than me.”

I rolled my eyes but I couldn’t help but smile. I held up the folder I was somehow still holding. “We should get down to business.”

“Yes, we should.” He took a deep breath. “It’s not my fault that I lose all sense and reason when you’re around.”

“You’re saying it’s my fault?” I raised one eyebrow. “So by that reasoning, my lack of professionalism and ability to think straight are your fault?”

He grinned. “Believe me, there’s nothing straight about how you think.”

“That’s not even remotely funny.”

“Then why are you smiling?”

“Because you’re ridiculously cute.”

He grinned. “Oh, really.”

“Shut up.”

Just then his phone rang. He answered quickly and made a face. “Uhhh, just one sec.” He disconnected the call, then he pointed to the door. “That might have been my design team. Who are right outside.”

“Now?”

“Yes. Is that okay? I meant to ask, but then you were wearing that suit, and my brain short-circuited. Which is not my fault. I believe we just had this discussion.”

I checked my watch. “This is not supposed to be a long appointment. I’m on my lunch break.”

He held up two fingers. “Two minutes. Promise.”

Since when did a two-minute meeting ever take only two minutes?

Whether I wanted to let them in was beside the point; it wasn’t like I could leave them outside. So I opened the door and in walked a team of four. They were youngish, wearing a uniform with an eco-design logo on the breast, and the guy with long curly hair holding the laptop was quick to shake Bryce’s hand. “Thanks so much. We were literally a block over, so it was great timing that you could line this up on such short notice.”

Bryce shot me a look, then introduced us. The man’s name was Luke, and while he looked like a surfer, I was quick to realise the guy was very, very smart. And hearing Bryce interact with him professionally, I could say the same about Bryce.

Luke’s team of four buzzed in and around the now-empty space, taking pictures and using some kind of software that noted measurements and dimensions. So them being here didn’t take two minutes, but it was no more than five. They were in and out, fast and efficient.

Bryce flashed me his Colgate smile. “I’m sorry for springing that on you. I called them on my way here, and Luke said he was just around the corner, so it made sense to kill two birds with one stone. I literally got off the phone to him when you got here, but then . . .” He waved me up and down. “The suit thing happened.”

I chuckled. “You have a thing for suit porn, apparently.”

Bryce hummed. “Apparently.”

I opened the job folder. “Right. We need to get this done, or this store won’t be yours.”

I had a list of ten or so questions for him to help fill out the contracts. We got through them quickly, and once he was talking about his business, he was serious and articulate. “So, that just about does us,” I said. “Once this is all written up, the contracts will be done. I’ve told Natalie I’m handing you over to her.”

“You did?”

“Well, yeah. You said you thought it was a good idea that we separate work—”

“Yeah, I did.” He pouted. “I just . . . now we won’t get to do site inspections and make out.”

I laughed. “Pretty sure that was the point.”

He was still pouting. It was kind of cute. “Next time I have some great idea based on good intentions, say no.”

I collected the folder and took the keys out. “Come on. I’ll let you buy me lunch to make up for it.”

We got to the door. “Wait,” he said. He lifted my chin and kissed me softly. It was sweet and laced with emotions I wasn’t quite prepared for. It stole my breath and unleashed a belly full of butterflies.

He thumbed my chin, my lips. “What time can I come over tonight?”

“Six.”

“Did you originally say eight?”

“Shut up.”

He chuckled. “Five it is.”

“I can leave work early, but not that early,” I said. “I normally work till about six or seven . . .”

“You can have an early mark for being such a good boy.”

I scoffed. “Pretty sure you and I both know that would be a lie.”

He ran his nose along my jaw. “Oh, I know.”

Christ, he was making it hard to think. “I was going to do some laps after work. Before you got there.” I sounded breathless, desperate.

“I can join you. I like swimming,” he replied. “Will you wear Speedos?”

I met his eyes. “Will you?”

The corner of his mouth lifted. “Want me to?”

I swallowed hard at the mental imagery of his cock in wet Speedos. “Not if you actually want to do any swimming. But yes.”

He laughed and pulled the door open. “Let me buy you some lunch. If I keep you any longer, you’ll have to stay back later this evening and ruin all my plans.”

“What are your plans?”

“To do you three times. I believe that was the demand from one Mr Bossy.”

“You’re a very quick learner.”

I locked the site up, and Bryce bought me some sushi for lunch. I reminded him that I’d send through the contracts for his lawyers to go over, and with a devilish grin, he reminded me of his plans for me tonight.

Only those plans went to shit at ten to six.

My intercom buzzed and I didn’t even look at the screen. I was trying to pull on my Speedos and hit the button. “You’re early.”

“For what?” Susannah’s voice replied. I almost broke my neck turning to the screen—it wasn’t just my sister. She had Mum and Dad with her too.

Oh no no no no no . . .

What the hell?

I had to find my phone, which I’d evidently thrown onto the bed when I tore out of my suit five minutes ago. I shot a quick message to SAF.
