“It’s another boy,” he says without missing a beat.
“You think so?” I laugh.
He nods. “And he’s gonna look just like me, too.”
“Oh, Lord, I can’t handle three of you.”
“Yeah, you can, babe.” His lips brush against mine. “But speaking of handling… will I be able to, you know…”
“Touch me?”
He nods and the tendons in his neck flex as he swallows. “I feel like such a fucking pussy, but yeah. I want to be able to touch you this time. And probably a lot.”
“Let’s get something straight right now, frat boy.” I smile and lace my fingers through his, holding his hand a little tighter to my belly. “This may be my body, but this is your baby. You can touch me whenever and wherever you’d like. All hours of the day, rain or shine, even if I’m mad at you because my back hurts, which inevitably is going to be your fault.”
He smiles and presses a long, lingering kiss to my lips. “Thank you.”
“For?”
“For choosing me to share all of your best moments with.”
“We’re made of moments like this.”
He grins and rests his forehead against mine. “Damn right, we are.”
