Perfect Harmony (Harmony Falls #2)(52)
Author: Elizabeth Kelly

He reached above them and the pressure around her wrists eased when he unlocked one cuff. He unlocked the second one and tossed the key and the cuffs on the bed beside them before lowering her arms and rubbing them.

“Okay, baby?”

“Oh my God,” she whispered. “I’ve never come that hard in my life, Gideon.”

He brushed another kiss against her mouth. “Good. Are you ready for me?”

“Yes.” She wrapped her arms around his shoulders. As much as she apparently liked being handcuffed to the bed, she was glad he’d uncuffed her. If this was her only chance to fuck Gideon, she wanted to touch him while it happened.

His cock pushed at her entrance and she released her breath in a slow rush as he pushed in. He was big, bigger than anyone she’d been with before, and she took another deep breath as her inner walls worked to stretch around him.

He took his time entering her, making slow and measured thrusts, and she admired his willpower. She wiggled into a slightly different position and he groaned when he sank completely into her.

“Fuck, you’re so tight, Princess.” He rested his forehead on hers and took his own deep breath. “You feel amazing around my dick.”

“As good as you imagined,” she said with a soft smile.

“Better. So fucking better.”

He pressed his mouth against hers before lifting himself up and bracing on his hands. He studied her face as he moved slowly in and out. She slid her arms around his narrow waist, her hips meeting each of his thrusts. She watched the need wash over his face, his iron control keeping him from moving harder and faster.

Feeling wicked and bold, and desperately wanting to see him lose control as well, she said, “I’m sorry I was a bad girl, sir.”

He groaned and made two hard thrusts that sent pleasure spearing through her belly. She clung to his waist, her hips moving faster. She slid her hand around the back of his neck and urged him to bend his head down.

She sucked on his earlobe before whispering, “I liked being handcuffed to your bed. I liked it when you pinched my nipples and slapped my pussy, sir.”

“Fuck!” He drove in and out of her, his control gone, the look on his face one of ferocious need. “Gracie, touch yourself.”

Her clit was throbbing with need again, and she reached between them to rub it hard. He ground his pelvis against hers before thrusting hard and fast. She arched her back, her second orgasm washing over her, not nearly as intense as the first one but just as satisfying.

He made another hoarse cry and came inside of her, his body going stiff before he collapsed on top of her, shuddering and panting. She rubbed his back and kissed his throat as his hot breath ruffled her hair.

He rolled off of her with a groan, pulling the condom off and tossing it into the trashcan next to the bed before rolling to face her. He pulled up the quilt and the sheets and then tugged her into his embrace. “Fuck, do you have any idea how hard your pussy squeezed my cock when you came?”

She laughed and patted his chest. “You’re welcome.”

He pressed a kiss against her mouth before nuzzling her throat. Now that she’d been sated, she could see the tiredness in his face. Gideon was running on about five hours sleep and she knew better than anyone how exhausting that could be.

He yawned and pulled her even closer, his eyes drifting shut. She loved being cocooned against him in his bed. For the first time in her life, she hoped she had insomnia. This would be her only night with Gideon, and she wanted to stay awake. Wanted to memorize the way it felt to be in his arms.

His hand rubbed lazy circles on her back as he yawned again. “Night, baby,” he mumbled.

“Good night, Gideon.”

His breathing deepened and evened out. The sun was setting, sending honey coloured beams of light across the bedroom. She slipped from his embrace and used the bathroom before going downstairs. Tank was waiting eagerly at the bottom of the stairs, his tail thumping against the walls and she patted his big head and let him outside.

While she waited for him to finish, she checked Facebook and her email. She opened the door to let Tank back inside before shutting it and locking it.

“Early bedtime, big guy,” she said. He followed her upstairs and she opened the guest bedroom door. Tank flopped down on the twin mattress on the floor with a heavy sigh. She returned to Gideon’s bedroom and slid back into the bed, lying with her back to Gideon.

He immediately spooned her, his big hand cupping her breast as he kissed the back of her neck. “Where’d you go?”

His voice was thick with sleep and she stroked his arm. “To let Tank out.”

“Thank you, baby.” He was snoring quietly within ten seconds.

She stared unblinkingly at the wall, her stomach already aching at the thought that she’d never see this side of Gideon again.

Chapter Seventeen

“Ugh,” Kira walked into his office and waved her hand in front of her face. “Why do you smell like smoke?”

He opened the window in his office a little wider and sat back in his chair. “I was at Grace’s place this morning.”

The smile dropped from Kira’s face. “Right. I forgot she was going over there this morning. How did it go?”

“Her furniture is ruined. She got her clothes and her laptop and tablet, and they seem all right. She’ll go back on Monday and decide what she’s keeping and what’s she’s throwing away.”

“Poor Gracie,” Kira said. “She has the worst fucking luck. I’m worried about her. She’s been acting weird lately and then this fire thing happened. Do you think she’s been weird lately?”

He shrugged and stared blankly at his computer. He’d thought this morning would be awkward and full of tension but when he’d woken, Grace was already out of his bed. She was showered and waiting for him in the kitchen.

They hadn’t talked about last night. She’d been distracted and tense about going to her house and he didn’t know what they would say anyway. They’d both agreed that last night was it for them. Was there really anything else to say?

“Gideon?” Kira said. “Are you worried about her too?”

“Yes,” he said, “but she’s an adult and we can’t tell her what to do or force her to talk about what’s bothering her.”

Kira snorted. “Who are you and what have you done with my brother?”

He rolled his eyes. “Look, she’s having a rough time and we need to support her. Going through her stuff at the house this morning was awful for her, and I don’t think piling on her and asking her to talk about her emotions is the thing to do. You know how she is.”

“If you mean she’s as close lipped about her real emotions as you are, then, yeah, I do know how she is,” Kira said. “God, the two of you drive me crazy sometimes. You’re way too much alike.”

“Shouldn’t you be at work?” he said.

“I had a showing this morning and another one this afternoon,” she said.

He smiled at her. “You’re doing really well at your job, Kira. Mom and Dad would be proud of you.”

She blinked rapidly to keep the tears at bay. “I hope so.”

Her voice grew hoarse and she cleared her throat. “God, I hate this time of the year.”
