“No, this is our year-round temperature. Our physiology prefers the cooler temperatures. I found Earth to be unpleasantly hot.”
“Well, you did land in the desert. It’s one of the hottest parts of Earth. Some areas are always below zero, covered in snow and ice.”
“I’d prefer to avoid all those extremes.”
A large vehicle approached as they neared a roadway. Dhiro groaned.
There were several uniformed men inside the windowless military-style truck. “Do you not get along with your coworkers?”
