Worst Boss Ever(38)
Author: J. S. Cooper

“She’s tall, she’s beautiful, she’s blonde.”

“Yeah, and?”

“Or do you prefer a different type now?” He waited for me to respond. When I didn’t, he went on. “Do you maybe prefer curvy and olive skin with long, dark, curly hair and big boobs?”

“What?” My eyes narrowed as I stared at him. “What are you talking about?”

He rolled his eyes. “I mean your secretary. She’s a bit of a looker, right?”

“I haven’t noticed,” I lied. I didn’t want to admit to my brother that I’d gotten a hard-on as soon as I’d seen Abby dancing. And when she fell on my lap and moved those hips back and forth—shit, I’d almost come.

“Okay, brother. You tell yourself that.” He patted my shoulder.

“Tell myself what?” I snapped.

“Nothing.” He shook his head. “Let’s get back to the party.”

“I don’t have anything for Abby Waldron.” I insisted. “She is one of the most infuriating women I’ve ever met in my life. Trust me, she is the last woman that I would ever want to be involved with in that way. The absolute last.”

“If you say so, Dylan.”

“I do,” I replied, my voice stony.

But I couldn’t help wondering what she was doing right now. Would she go directly to bed? Would she go into the shower? Was she feeling horny too? Would she play with herself and think of me?

I repressed a groan. That was the last thing I needed to be thinking about right now. Or ever. I did not need to think about Abby Waldron masturbating to thoughts of me because if I did, I’d be thinking about even more, and that was a road I did not want to go down.

Chapter 26

Abby

* * *

My alarm clock woke me up, and I groaned. Calling Dylan to wake him up was the very last thing that I wanted to do. But this was my job, and I was going to be a big girl. If he brought up the previous night, I would just pretend I had no idea what he was talking about.

I grabbed my phone and called him, praying to God that he wouldn’t pick up. But God wasn’t listening this morning. Dylan picked up on the second ring.

“Good morning, Miss Waldron.”

“Good morning, Mr. McAllister. I have your appointments if you’re ready to hear them.”

“How are you feeling this morning?” he said as if I’d never said anything.

“I’m feeling fine, thank you,” I replied in my cheeriest, brightest voice. “And you?”

“And did you get some contacts, or are you wearing your glasses?”

“I’ve got my glasses on, thank you.”

“And your eyesight is better now?”

“Yes, thank you. Would you like to hear your morning schedule?”

“You seem very chirpy this morning, Miss Waldron.” I could hear a smile in his voice “Are you trying to pretend that last night never happened?”

“What are you talking about, sir?”

“You forgot that you were a dancer at my brother’s bachelor party?”

“Not sure what you’re talking about, Mr. McAllister.”

“You forget that you were sitting in my lap in a black thong and tassels covering your boobs, barely?”

My face warmed as he talked, but I was going to pretend ignorance. “No, sir. Not really sure what you’re talking about.”

“You forgot that you were grinding on my lap?”

“I was not grinding on your lap!” I said before I could stop myself.

He chuckled. “Ah, so you do remember.”

“Would you like to hear your schedule now, Mr. McAllister?”

“You know you left me a little present last night.”

“What are you talking about?”

“On my pants.”

“What did I leave on your pants?”

“A little wet spot,” he almost whispered into the phone.

My face was flaming now. “I’m not sure what you’re talking about, sir.”

“A little wet spot on my crotch where you were rubbing up and down,” he said in a husky voice. “I guess you were as turned on as I was, huh?”

“Mr. McAllister, this is highly—”

“I know exactly what you’re going to say,” he interrupted me.

“Well, if you know what I’m going to say, then you know—”

“Then you know that I expect you to quit that job,” he said in a firm voice.

“What?”

“I told you last night, and I’m reminding you now, you are not to work as a stripper, a dancer, or a cake pop-out girl any longer.”

“Sir, I don’t really think that—”

“Do you understand me, Miss Waldron?”

I paused for a long moment. “Yes, sir,” I finally said.

It annoyed me that he was telling me what to do, but frankly, I hadn’t had a good experience and I didn’t want to do it again. It’d just been my luck that he would be at the first bachelor party that I would be dancing for.

“I’m surprised you acquiesced so easily,” he said. “What else can I get you to do?”

“Nothing, sir. But I do realize that I need to pay full attention to my job because you pay me so well.”

“I sense a hint of sarcasm in your voice, Miss Waldron.”

“Do you?” I said innocently.

“Yes, I do. So have you booked the flights and the hotel?”

“Well, sir, we’re going to have to have a little conversation.”

“Really?” His voice was dry. “About what?”

“I just don’t think it’s fair that I have to fly coach and stay in a hostel. I mean, I—”

“I was only joking, Miss McAllister. Of course you will fly with me. We’ll probably have to do some work on the plane.”

“Oh, great. Yippee.”

“Wouldn’t you rather fly first class and work for a couple of hours as opposed to coach and not work?”

“I guess so, sir.”

“And the suite has a couch and a bed, so we can actually stay in the same room.”

“Oh, I don’t think, sir. I’d rather stay at a hostel than stay in your suite.”

“Oh, really?” He chuckled. “And why is that?”

“Just because, sir.”

“Are you scared, Miss Waldron?”

“Scared of what?”

“Scared that your juices might flow again?”

“Excuse me?” I squeaked. “I can’t believe you just said that, Mr. McAllister.”

“You can’t believe I just said what?”

“You know.”

“No. Are you scared to repeat my words?”

“No, I’m not scared to repeat your words.”

“Are you scared to say that you were horny last night?”

“I was not horny.”

“But your pussy was wet.”

“Mr. McAllister!” My jaw dropped. “I can’t believe you just said that.”

“Well, what are you going to do? Go to HR?” He laughed. “I mean, whose fault would it be that you took a second job as a stripper at a bachelor party and you were grinding on my lap? I’m just stating the cold hard truth.”
