Fearful Symmetry (Nip and Paw #2)(33)
Author: Milly Taiden

“You think so?” she teased.

“Oh, I know what you need, daredevil.” He reached over, his fingers pressing her chin up. “I dare you to suck my cock, Daredev-Isa.”

She grinned, her whole body coming alive with the dare. It was silly because it’s what they both wanted, but she did it anyway. Isa slowly ran her tongue down his thick shaft. Valens groaned her name, his hand going to her hair. She parted her lips and slowly took him into her mouth. She slurped at his girth before moving up and down. Her hand traveled down to cup his balls, massaging them while she took him as deep as she possibly could.

“That’s it, love. Fuck, your mouth is amazing. You need to stop. I want to be inside you when I come.” He pulled away from her and replaced her mouth with his hand. “I want you on your hands and knees, Isa. Do it.”

She laughed softly. “Nope. On your back, lucky tiger. If you’re gonna mate me, I’m driving.”

Valens’s lips split into a smile. “You can never just do as you’re told, can you?”

“Nope. And it’s what you love about me.”

He chuckled. “You’re right. I do love that about you. At least, I do when it’s not driving me insane. But I love you, Isa Ellis. Whether you’re being bossy or not listening to me, I love you.”

“Good. I love you, too, lucky tiger.” She sat on his lap, pushing him into the pillows. Once he was in position, his erection pressed into her leg. Isa placed herself above him and took his cock in her hand, squeezing it gently. She slowly eased down on the length, moving her hips as she did.

“Fuck, you feel amazing, Isa.” His hands gripped her hips as he joined the pace.

She slapped his hand. “I’m driving, Valens.”

“You’re gonna kill me going so slow.”

“I wanna draw out our mating for as long as I can,” she said, gasping as he bucked into her, reaching deep.

“Fine, love. Anything you want.”

Isa had every intention of taking things nice and slow, but as she began to move above him, her orgasm coiled in the very core of her. She increased her speed, clutching his chest to gain her footing. He was quick to clue in and took hold of her hips to help her.

“Valens,” she screamed. “I’m close. So close. Yes, please.”

“That’s it, love. Come on my cock. I wanna see you go there.” He reached between them, his fingers finding her clit. He toyed with it until he sat up, closing her into an embrace. His mouth found her left breast, just above her heart, and he nuzzled her nipple. His tongue drew a circle around the nub. It sent sparks all across her heated skin, and she came apart as his cock swelled with his own release.

His teeth sank into the tender flesh of her breast, sending a fresh new wave of pleasured pain through her. She bucked her hips, fucking herself faster on him as he filled her with his seed.

Valens placed a kiss on the bite mark. “Did it hurt?”

She shook her head. “No. I liked it. Maybe you can do that again sometime.”

He laughed. “I sure can.” He slowly slipped out of her, rushed to the bathroom to grab a washcloth, and cleaned them both up. He joined her on the bed, gathering her in his arms.

“Dinner will be so cold,” she sighed happily, laying her head on his chest.

“We can heat it up. It’s not an issue.”

“Good, ’cause all I wanna do right now is lie in your arms.”

“I’m good with that.”

“Mate. We’re mates. That’s a pretty big forever sort of thing.”

“It is,” he whispered.

“This is gonna be the best stunt of my life. Thing is? It’s not even a stunt. I’ve never been more sure of anything. You’re my lucky tiger.”

“And you’re my daredevil,” he replied before kissing her softly. “I dare you to be ready for round two,” he murmured between sips of her mouth.

“You’re on.”

“Great. Then I dare you to spend forever with me.”

She giggled. “That was pretty much a given the second you patched up my arm in your office that first day. I love you, Valens Thatcher.”

“I love you, Isa Ellis soon-to-be-Thatcher.”

She sat up, looking down at him. “What?”

“I dare you to marry me,” he said with a grin.

“Oh, you are so on.”

Isa kissed him again, and as they planned their future, naked in their bed, she knew. There was nothing as perfect as fearful symmetry.

EPILOGUE

OZ

One Year Later

Oz stood at the front of the church in front of nearly all of Thatcherton. Beside him, Egon pulled at his dress shirt, uncomfortable as he was with the formal wear. His big brother only grinned and relaxed when his mate and wife, Bree, started making her way down the aisle in her red bridesmaid dress.

In her arms, Bree held baby Norah. His three-month-old niece wasn’t walking yet, but she had still been named flower girl. Bree, who was the maid of honor, looked happy as could be, walking down the aisle with her child in her arms on the day of her brother-in-law and best friend’s wedding.

The tune of the organ changed, and as one, every attendee stood to welcome the bride.

Isa made her grand entrance in a form fitting white dress. The keyhole sides bared her still-flat stomach. No one but the family knew she was expecting a little one of her own. It was early days, still, but she was with a Thatcher tiger. Fertile as fuck.

Oz watched his brother Valens closely as Isa made her way down the aisle. The man was caught between crying and desire. It was interesting. But one thing was for darn sure, those two loved each other.

That they would be getting married a week before the summer camp officially opened while expecting their first kid was brave as hell.

Oz didn’t know how they could juggle so many things.

He sure as hell couldn’t manage that.

He had to run for Mayor again, and his campaign was basically starting as soon as the wedding was over. He put a pause on it in respect for his brother and Isa, but now was the time to get shit done.

As he watched Valens and Isa exchange vows, something scratched at his thoughts. He frowned, not knowing what was wrong with him. Egon even gave him a stern look, ordering him to keep his shit together. Oz shrugged because he couldn’t help if his brain was all out of whack.

But one thing was certain.

Something was happening.

He scanned the church, hoping he didn’t see one of the lions or wolves, enemy pride and pack.

Nothing.

There was no one in the audience who seemed to present a threat, yet Oz couldn’t shake the feeling he was being watched.

No shit. He was standing in front of a full church, right beside the bride and groom. He wasn’t being watched. He was just in the periphery of the limelight. Whatever was happening in his brain was probably the stress he was feeling at being on the verge of a campaign.

It was always so hard to do. It didn’t matter that it would be his third since the day he turned twenty-three. He was the best Mayor this town ever had, but there was always a chance someone would run against him.

It wasn’t a good idea.
