Sharing Their Nanny (The Nannies #8)(3)
Author: Sam Crescent

She set the table, and Dylan was first downstairs. He put his hands on her waist as she tried to reach the wine glass for Max.

“I’ve got it.” He was so close.

The scent of him surrounded her. Why did she have to react to his smell or his presence? Her nipples tightened and her pussy went slick.

Jerking back, she gasped. He was so close that as she tried to move, her ass pressed against his pelvis and she became aware of two things. One, he had a very big cock, and two, he was aroused.

His arm banded around her waist, keeping her in place, and she gasped again.

“Whoa, be careful, Raine.” His lips were against her ear, and she couldn’t help but close her eyes.

Teeth sinking against her lip, she held back a moan that threatened to escape, but it was next to impossible.

Dylan slid his palm across her stomach, and there was something in the action that made her melt. She didn’t know what he did, or how he did it.

“Raine?”

“I … er … I have to go,” she said.

He didn’t release her.

This was embarrassing.

He leaned in close so his lips were right next to her ear. “I know you can feel me, Raine.”

“You’re my boss.”

“I’m not telling you as your boss. I’m telling you as a man.”

Time seemed to stand still.

Dylan ran his hands up her body, resting them just beneath her breasts. The sane part of her brain wasn’t working. The part of her brain that wanted to make a whole bunch of bad decisions was in complete control, and she sank her teeth into her lip, trying to do anything to make herself work properly.

Nothing worked.

“Tell me to stop,” he said.

She didn’t want to. Why would she want him to stop? She’d been dreaming of his touch for so long, and he was so close, the temptation was too hard to deny.

You’re their nanny.

This is wrong.

You shouldn’t be doing this.

But it feels so good.

She had stopped feeling desirable a long time ago. Dylan’s arousal, like the two men, had awakened a need within her. A need that she had kept hidden for so long even with her ex-boyfriend. He’d never known the desires she craved. He had never been able to handle her level of need.

His lips brushed across her neck, and Raine whimpered.

“I know you want me, Raine. I know you need me.”

“Please,” she said.

“Please, what? Stop? Continue. Tell me what you want,” he said.

It would be so easy to give in to him, to finally expel these feelings she’d kept locked up inside. She had no doubt it would cost her this job.

“What’s going on here?” Max asked.

Chapter Two

Max was very much aware of what was going on, but he hated seeing the guilty look on Raine’s face. She had never looked so beautiful than when Dylan had started to tease her. He’d seen the glint in her eyes, the fire dancing within them, almost begging to be fucked.

Raine pulled away from Dylan. “There’s some laundry I need to do. Please excuse me.”

He didn’t try to stop her but allowed her to make her escape.

Dylan growled as he spun around. “You couldn’t have waited five minutes?”

“The fact it had to take you any time at all is a scary fucking thought. What were you thinking?”

“I was thinking of letting our little nanny know that I wanted her. You may be happy to live your life watching from the sidelines, but I’m not. It won’t take long for another man to know how fucking precious she is, and in the next breath, she’d be gone.”

Just the thought had Max tensing. No other man was ever going to be allowed to touch her. His hands clenched into fists at his sides. “That won’t happen.”

“It will if we just sit idly by.” Dylan ran fingers through his hair. “I need a drink. Dinner is on the table.”

Dylan left the room, and Max sighed, seeing the food on the countertop, waiting to go into the dining room. He grabbed a pair of oven mitts and carried the hot pot through to the dining room. Two more place settings were set up, and Max, like always, took the head spot. After popping the cork on the bottle of wine, he poured out three glassfuls. He’d never seen Raine drink, as she often opted for tea, coffee, water, or a hot chocolate.

Opening the lid on the hot pot, he leaned in and took a deep inhale. The scents smelled amazing, and his stomach chose that moment to growl.

Grabbing a serving spoon, he served himself a generous portion. Before Raine lived with them, he often had takeout, which he ate sparingly. This food though, was too good to pass up. With his bowl full, he took a seat, grabbed his wine glass, and sipped. He’d never been a connoisseur when it came to wine. He only ever purchased what he liked. With the wine’s taste teasing along his tastebuds, he picked up his knife and fork and started to eat.

It didn’t take long for Raine to enter the room, which he expected. To get from the laundry room, she had to pass the dining room. The moment she caught sight of him, she stopped.

“Evening, Raine,” he said. “I wanted you to know Lake is settled and was already fast asleep before I left.”

Bringing up his niece was a blow. He’d noticed Raine always softened and relaxed at the mention of his niece. Max wasn’t a successful businessman for nothing. First of all, he had Dylan, and when the guy wasn’t thinking with his dick, then they made a very good team. Second of all, he knew how to read people. He understood them, and with that, he found out their weaknesses.

One of Raine’s many weaknesses was Lake.

“She had an amazing day today. Ever since I picked her up, she’d been talking nonstop about this Halloween thing that some friend’s parents are organizing. I think it’s like a sleepover or something.”

“On Halloween?”

“No, just before Halloween, I think.” She smiled. “Lake has talked nonstop about it, but she has also talked about getting a dog. She happened to see one of the rescue commercials, and since then, she has wanted a dog.”

“She is a sweetheart, just like my sister.” It wasn’t accurate for him to say that. His sister was many things, but nice only when she needed to be. “So, other than taking care of Lake, how has your day been?”

“I’ve been very busy. I organized and filed the paperwork you wanted me to. Posted all the letters you left me, cleaned the house.”

“Any of your hobby?”

“Not much in the way of sewing,” she said, smiling.

He loved seeing that smile. It was so beautiful. So … natural. He’d been with women who’d learned the fine art of lying. Life had beaten them down until all remnants of happiness had been sucked from them.

Raine wasn’t like that. She wasn’t virginal, which he was glad about. When he thought about fucking Raine, he wasn’t the kind of guy to go easy. He liked to fuck hard, fast, and it was always intense. Not that he couldn’t make love, but Raine fired his blood like no one else.

He took a bite of food and closed his eyes, releasing a growl. “This is just fantastic.”

There was the blush he adored so much.

“Thank you.”

Dylan chose that moment to enter the dining room, clearing his throat. “Am I missing anything?” He took a seat opposite Raine.
