Her Broken Pieces (Fallen Kingdom #2)(42)
Author: Rachel Leigh

Moving faster, he digs his fingers in so deep that I’m on the brink of explosion. I clench my walls, squeezing him, as I reach the height of my orgasm.

“Did that feel good, baby?”

I lock my lips, grinning. “Mmhmm.” Just as I kiss his mouth, Cal shoves his cock inside me. Filling me and gliding me up and down with his hands gripping my waist.

“That’s right. Fuck me like you love me.”

I moan in a high-pitched voice. “I do love you.”

“Tell me you love fucking me.”

I feed him the words he wants to hear, giving him the truth. “I love fucking you.”

A raspy groan climbs up his throat as he meets me thrust for thrust. His hands move from my hips to my breasts, squeezing and using them as friction as he pounds me from the bottom.

My head rolls back, eyes closed, while I grip his shoulders and bounce on his cock.

“Fuck, Bella. You’re so damn sexy.” Soft lips find my collarbone, peppering kisses all the way up to my ear. He sucks my earlobe in his mouth, teeth grazing the sensitive skin, and I whimper in delight. Chills shimmy down my body as I chase my second orgasm of the night.

“I’m gonna come,” I cry out. My mouth falls open, and I don’t even recognize the sounds that escape me.

“Come for me, baby. Soak my cock.”

And I do. I completely come undone, and he fills me up at the same time.

Our motions slow until we’re completely still. My head rests on Cal's shoulder while we both steady our breathing.

We stay there quietly, holding one another for a few minutes before I finally climb off him. Proof of our orgasms spill down my legs. “I need to clean up before I get dressed.”

“No one can see you. Just carry your clothes to the bathroom.”

I’m hesitant to walk through this jet nude, but it’s not like I didn’t just ride my boyfriend completely naked, while I’m sure everyone in the cockpit was listening.

I really don’t want to soil my clothes with our bodily fluids, so I ball them up in my arms and walk hurriedly to the lavatory. As I reach the door, the pilot announces that we’re preparing to land. I clean up quickly, wiping myself down and washing my hands before getting dressed and heading back to the seat next to Cal to buckle my seat belt.

“I’m anxious to see where we’re going,” I tell Cal as I snap the buckle. He’s already cleaned up and dressed with no evidence of our rendezvous.

His hand rests on my leg, and he smiles. “Don’t get too excited. You might not like this place as much as I do.”

“As long as I’m with you, I’ll go anywhere you take me.” I rest my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes as the wheels touch down on the runway. I could peek out the window and try to make a guess, but I’ll let him keep his surprise a little longer.

We’re told we can exit the jet, and Cal takes my hand as I walk behind him down the aisle. He thanks the pilot, and we walk down the steep staircase out into the fresh, night air. There’s a running car not far away with its lights on. All the cars that we get in and out of are the same—sleek and black.

I can tell just by the moisture in the air that we’re near water. It’s crisp, clean, and cold. There’s snow on the ground, but only a light dusting.

I know exactly where we are.

Squeezing Cal’s hand with both of mine, I nuzzle against him as we walk to the car. “We came back.”

He looks down at me, a glint of a smile along with a sliver of disappointment. “You know?”

I shrug my shoulders. “I can feel it. We’re going back to Cori Cove, aren’t we?” I squeal a little bit, excited to return to the place where we fell in love.

Cal stops walking, reading my expression. “Are you okay with that? I know there are some bad memories there.”

On my tiptoes, I kiss his cheek. “I’m more than okay with that. The good memories override the bad ones. I fell in love with that castle the moment I fell in love with you.”

There’s still daylight left when our boat arrives at Cori Cove. We took the small charter over, so we could haul all our luggage. We’re only staying for a weekend, but it looks like I packed for the rest of winter.

Cal steps off first, offers me his hand, and ushers me down the dock. I look up at the stone structure and smile. So many memories hit me at once, but I only let the good ones infiltrate my thoughts. Like my conversation with Peter on the turret when he told me about the love of his life, Carolina. How this castle was special to them both. It’s ironic that his life was taken at such a monumental place. My heart should ache for the loss of him, but it actually squeezes when I think about him and his Carolina being reunited.

As we walk toward the main entrance, I think of seeing Cal for the first time in his study. I knew there was something familiar about him, but I didn’t put my finger on it until he spoke of my eyes. “Your eyes. They once spoke to me. I could read your thoughts with just a look,” he said. The weeks that followed were brutal. I felt like a prisoner by a stranger and I mourned the loss of my friend. Slowly, I started to see fragments of the boy I once knew. Before long, he held the key to my heart. Now, I can’t imagine life without him.

I look over at him and he catches my stare. Squeezing my hand, the corner of his lip lifts. “What?”

I smile back at him. “Nothing. Just thinking.”

“About?”

“Us. Our past. Our future.”

“Oh yeah? What do you see in the future?”

My lips press together, biting back a smile before I finally say, “you.”

We walk hand in hand through the main doors and I’m stunned when we step inside. “Wow, Cal. Who did this?”

The patched-up hole in the ceiling that once leaked is now unrecognizable. The cement floor is now a sleek gray that’s so glossy it looks like marble. A large chandelier hangs overhead from the finished ceiling, and the doors that were put up on the back wall are now gone. I’m grateful for that. I didn’t like those doors. There’s something comforting about the opening to the back yard. But, Cal didn’t know I felt that way.

Ignoring Jeffery, who is carting our luggage to the elevator, I glance up, down, and around the entire space. “How did you have time to do all this?”

“Time isn’t an issue when you have money. I made some orders and told them to finish by the time we arrived.”

It’s perfect. Everything I would have done if I had designed it myself. “This is why you wanted to stay in a hotel for a week. You were having the entrance renovated.”

“Maybe,” he raises a shoulder, smirking in delight, “or maybe I had it all renovated.”

“You didn’t?” My eyes widen, excitement taking over. “The guest rooms? The design ideas I had?”

“No,” he deadpans, crushing my spirits.

My shoulders go slack. “Oh.”

“Not at this place, anyways. Your designs are great and they’ll be used, but this one’s just for us.” He pulls me toward the elevator. “Come on. I’ll show you.”

Just for us. I’m okay with that. “Wait,” I say, stopping him before he presses the elevator button. “Does that mean—”
