Whispered Promises (Brie's Submission Book 24)(30)
Author: Red Phoenix

She smiled when he ran it down the valley between her breasts and tickled her stomach. It felt like hundreds of light touches teasing her skin all at the same time.

“You like that, blossom,” he stated confidently.

She giggled. “I do, Faelan.”

“Good.” He took his time, teasing her body with the feather from the tip of her nose down to the sensitive underside of her toes.

Sensing she was enjoying it, he upped the challenge. Putting down the feather, he ordered, “Open your eyes.”

Faelan held up a purple blindfold. “Do you consent?”

Her heart began to race when she saw the blindfold. “Yes.”

“I want you to crave it, not fear it,” he told her. “Therefore, I am going to begin by simply laying it over your eyes. Call out your safeword if it becomes too much.”

Brie was astounded by Faelan’s thoughtfulness. She had feared the moment he secured it behind her head. But Faelan was just as gentle with his re-introduction of the blindfold as he had been during their first encounter.

She smiled up at him. “Thank you, Faelan.”

“My pleasure, blossom.”

The instant Faelan laid the blindfold over her eyes, she smelled the scent of lavender. “I remember this…” she whispered, recalling the original blindfold.

“Lavender has the power to soothe the soul,” he murmured huskily.

While she breathed in the calming scent, Faelan glided the feather over her skin. Her sensitivity to its touch now heightened, she began to crave the feel of it.

He grazed the feather along the swell of her hip. The tingling trail it left behind made her shiver in delight. Brie was able to lose herself in the simple stimulation, excited that she had experienced zero triggers.

When she felt ready, she told him, “I’d like you to secure the blindfold now.”

Faelan removed the blindfold and smiled down at her. “Whatever happens next, I am proud of your courageous spirit, blossom.”

Brie sat up so he could properly secure it. As soon as he tied it behind her head, she felt her anxiety begin to rise.

“Color?” he asked.

She tilted her head, trying to gauge her level of discomfort. Although her heart was racing as the same feeling of helplessness she’d experienced being locked in the dark cell took hold, Brie was still aware of her surroundings.

“A cautious yellow, Faelan,” she answered truthfully.

“Would you like to continue?”

“Absolutely.”

Faelan gently lowered her head to the floor, whispering, “You are in control.”

Brie lay there for a moment, trying not to panic. She was afraid the dark melody would return. Instead, she became distracted by the hundreds of tickling points as Faelan grazed the feather over her breasts. He used the tip to tease her nipples, tickling them so much that she bit her bottom lip to keep from laughing.

“Now that I have your attention, I want you to concentrate on your pleasure.”

He leisurely glided the feather over her stomach before making his way down her thighs and then all the way to her feet. The delicate touch drove her wild and she squirmed playfully as he tickled her toes.

Faelan abruptly stopped his artful torment, waiting a moment. Brie held her breath, wondering where he would touch her next.

Finally, he stroked the side of her face with the feather before grazing it over her lips, causing a delicious tingling.

That’s when his warm lips pressed against hers. He gave her a tender kiss—not the kiss of a lover, but one of a cherished friend—and it filled her heart with immense joy.

“Can you handle one more challenge, blossom?”

“Yes,” she answered enthusiastically.

“Do you remember my guessing game?

“Of course,” Brie replied, remembering the day he’d won her at the auction and took her home to introduce her to his stimulating game.

“I only have one item today.”

This game required a higher level of trust on her part. But, considering how careful he had been at planning out her scene today, Brie felt confident about playing the game.

“Do I have your consent?”

Brie nodded, but also answered verbally, “You do, Faelan.”

“Perfect.”

Brie held her breath, remembering their encounter during Kinky Eve when he had convinced her he was using a sharp knife on her skin when reality it had only been a feather.

“I want you to guess what this is,” he commanded gently.

Goosebumps rose on her skin when she felt a cold, stiff pressure on her stomach. Her first guess was a piece of ice, but it seemed too thin. As Faelan dragged it across her skin, she thought her body heat might be changing its consistency. Then the familiar scent hit her nose, mixing nicely with the lavender she’d been smelling.

“Chocolate!” she exclaimed, smiling.

Chocolate held a special meaning for them. On the night of the auction, Faelan had introduced her to his chocolate “dance.” It was a memory she still held dear.

“You are correct,” Faelan answered. He then licked the trail of chocolate he’d made across her stomach.

Brie shivered in pleasure.

Faelan lifted the blindfold and grinned down at her. “Well done, blossom.”

Brie could not express in words the feeling bursting inside her.

The song had not returned, despite the blindfold!

Wrapping her arms around his neck she pulled her head up and kissed him in gratitude. His lips tasted of milk chocolate.

“I’m so happy right now!” she gushed.

“Good,” Faelan replied with satisfaction. “I would say this was a positive experience for both of us.”

As they were redressing, Brie thought to mention, “One of our mutual friends saw you at the beach recently. Please feel free to visit us next time, if you want. Our door is always open.”

He shook his head. “While I appreciate the offer, our time at the beach is just for Kaylee and me.”

Brie stopped what she was doing and looked at him with tenderness. “That’s sweet.”

He glanced sideways at her. “Don’t tell anyone, but I visit the ocean once a week with my daughter so we can watch the sunset together. I swear, when I look out to the horizon at that magical moment just before the sun disappears, I can feel Kylie’s presence.”

Faelan looked at Brie with a wistful smile. “I hope Kaylee feels it, too.”

Breath of Life

Still flying high after her successful scene with Faelan, Brie could not stop looking at Sir as they waited for his uncle to return with the children.

“Is there anything you would like to say?” Sir asked her when he caught her staring at him.

“You’re a brilliant man, Mr. Davis.”

He chuckled lightly.

“My scene with Faelan was exactly what I needed. But, he needed it as well.”

“I knew it would be difficult for Wallace to embrace BDSM again without Kylie by his side. However, he is like you,” Sir said with a knowing smile. “His Dominance is an essential part of his personality and will help him in the years to come.”

Brie nodded, staring at Sir longingly.

Sir raised his eyebrow. “Is there anything else you would like to add?”
