Whispered Promises (Brie's Submission Book 24)(37)
Author: Red Phoenix

She cried out in victory as the rush of her orgasm overtook her.

Baron then gave the swing an extra push so that she swayed effortlessly above the air as her body shuddered in ecstasy.

The feeling was glorious, making her laugh with pure joy!

Baron took extra time with his aftercare, praising Brie for her courage. She was riding on such a high that she felt like a heavyweight champion who’d just crushed her opponent in the ring…

…then her eyes drifted to the golden handcuffs hanging from the whipping pole.

She was instantly taken back to her dark cell, where she was bound in handcuffs, waiting for Holloway to return.

It sent her spiraling down a dark hole.

What if her victory today was just an illusion and she would never know true freedom?

She murmured out loud, “I’m not brave.”

“You are braver than you know, kitten,” Baron insisted in a commanding tone. He kissed her hard, sealing his decree.

Afterward, when Baron led her back upstairs, Brie was surprised to find the other subs were waiting for her. These women and men had all been hurt by abusive people masquerading as Dominants. They were fighting to reclaim their submission just as she was.

Only they could truly understand the battle she’d just fought, so it broke her heart in the most beautiful way when they encircled her in silent solidarity and put their hands on her, wanting to celebrate her victory.

Although it felt small to Brie, their heartfelt observance reminded her that tonight had been an important step toward her freedom.

Brie looked sheepishly at Sir on the drive home. “You are right about me.”

“How so?” he asked, glancing at her with interest.

“I’ve been in such a rush to conquer my fears that I’ve been losing sight of the small victories. Tonight was no different.”

Brie chuckled sadly at herself. “Baron and the other subs had to remind me that I had a significant victory because I can only see the battles left to fight.”

“The process will take time, babygirl,” he reminded her gently.

She sighed in frustration. “I wish I could go back to my old life and forget it ever happened.”

“I know it’s tempting, but psychological wounds don’t magically go away. They must be acknowledged and dealt with before they worm their way into your psyche and wreak havoc in ways you cannot anticipate or control.” He sighed. “Trust me, babygirl. I speak from experience.”

She looked at Sir in admiration, appreciating how he’d taken his difficult past and worked hard to better himself—and help others because of it. In countless ways, she had benefitted from his determination to grow and learn from his past.

Wanting to reward him for his tenacious grit and determination, Brie said, “There’s one more thing I learned today…” She paused for a moment, knowing the consequences of what she was about to say.

Grinning mischievously, she told him, “You are a very wise man, Sir.”

Bedtime

Rytsar called regularly, but he still remained in Russia for unexplained reasons. Tonight, he’d requested a chance to sing to the children at bedtime, so Brie started with Antony. Laying him down in the crib, she tucked him in and then held the phone above her son’s face so he could see Rytsar.

Antony smiled and reached up, wanting to touch his dyadya.

As soon as Rytsar began singing the hauntingly beautiful Russian lullaby, Brie saw Antony start to relax. She was not surprised when he fell fast asleep after only two renditions.

Tiptoeing out of the room, Brie shut off the light and quietly shut the door. “You truly have a magical voice,” she whispered.

Rytsar smirked. “It pales in comparison to my magical tongue, radost moya.”

“I can attest to that,” she agreed, blushing as she imagined that tongue pleasing her.

Brie entered Hope’s room next and smiled at her little girl, who was already in bed hugging the white horse Rytsar had given her.

“I have a special surprise for you, sweet pea.”

Kneeling beside the toddler’s bed, Brie held out the phone. The moment Hope saw Rytsar, she cried joyously, “Dyadya!”

The grin on Rytsar’s face melted Brie’s heart.

“Is moye solntse ready to sleep?” he asked her.

Hope nodded while squeezing the neck of her horse tightly with both arms. Rytsar started slowly, lingering on each word as he sang to her.

Brie smiled to herself when she saw Hope’s eyelids starting to droop.

By the time he finished the last line, “…wish you sweet dreams while you sleep…” Hope was already in dreamland.

Brie grinned as she turned off the light and shut the door. “That was truly beautiful, Rytsar.”

“Not as beautiful as you.”

Brie giggled as she headed downstairs, but her smile faltered after a moment. “I miss you.”

“That was part of the reason I called tonight.”

She instantly perked up. “What do you mean?”

“It wasn’t just the children I wanted to put to bed tonight.”

Brie grinned. “What do you have in mind?”

“Do you see your Master?” he asked with a sexy smirk.

Brie glanced in the kitchen, then looked over at Sir’s office and noticed it was dark. Curious, she headed to the bedroom but found it empty also.

Giggling, she admitted, “I think I’ve lost him.”

“Did you try out back?”

She immediately headed out to the backyard, and there she found Sir sitting in the hot tub with a martini waiting for her.

“Take off your clothes, radost moya, and join him,” Rytsar commanded.

Slipping off her dress, Brie shimmied out of her underwear and quickly joined Sir in the hot tub. She purred as she slid into the warm, bubbling water.

When Sir pulled her to him, she noticed he was also naked. “Well, hello, Sir!”

He chuckled, kissing her deeply as his erect cock pressed against her thigh.

“I am sitting in my hot tub as well, radost moya, watching the morning sun light up the sky,” Rytsar informed her.

Brie looked up at the crescent moon above her and joked, “Our lives are like night and day.”

“Da…” he laughed. “Let us toast to sharing this unique moment.”

Brie set the cell phone down on the edge of the hot tub, picked up her martini glass, and clinked it against Sir’s, echoing, “To the moment.”

As she sat there, enjoying the cool drink and the warm water, Brie asked Rytsar, “Are you naked, too?”

“But of course.”

She giggled, imagining him lying naked in his hot tub, leisurely staring out at Moscow as he watched the people scurry below as the city came to life.

After several minutes of idle chat between the men, Rytsar asked, “Radost moya, do you see the red box?”

Brie scanned their small backyard and spied it on a table set against the hot tub. “I do!”

Getting out of the water long enough to open the box and take out its contents, Brie returned to Sir’s side and admired the phallus constructed to Rytsar’s exact proportions.

“Do you consent to playing with me?” Rytsar asked huskily.
