Don't Let Me Go (Don't Let Me #2)(31)
Author: Kelsie Rae

And I’m not about to start now.

I grab her hips and line myself up with her entrance.

“I’m gonna make this quick,” I warn her as I run my hand along her pretty little neck.

She lifts her chin and holds my gaze, a smile toying the edge of her lips.“That’s what she sai––” Her jaw drops, and her mouth opens wide as I thrust into her and squeeze her throat.

I play with the pressure, mirroring her heat clenching around me.

“Fuuuuck,” she chokes out.

I don’t move another muscle. I stay still, firmly seated inside her, focusing with every ounce of willpower to keep from thrusting into her over and over again when I know it’s the last thing she needs right now.

“Sorry,” I mutter.

“I should’ve picked a smaller dick,” she jokes, though her brows are still pinched as she breathes out a slow breath.

“Not sorry,” I reply, though this time it’s laced with amusement.

She meets my gaze and laughs, reaching for me. “Come here, Teddy.”

The sentiment makes my chest ache, and I bend down, letting go of her slender neck and cradling her head between my arms, while resting my weight on my elbows to keep from smashing her.

“You okay?”

She drags the tips of her trimmed fingernails against my back and beneath my shirt as she nuzzles her face against my head and nods. The intimacy is almost more than I can bear. The trust. The gift she’s given me.

“Yeah, Teddy. I’m good. You can move now.”

“You sure?”

Her laugh tickles my throat as she nods against me. “Yeah. Positive.”

I pull out a few inches then push into her again. Her hips meet mine, and she wiggles beneath me.

“Keep doing that,” she whispers.

I thrust again, softly, and feel her lips stretch into a smile against my neck. “Yeah. Like that.”

She drags her hands to my ass and pulls me down harder, hooking her ankles around my waist and moving her hands along my spine, wrapping them around my neck. We find our rhythm, chasing our orgasms. And she clings to me the whole time, refusing to let me go while refusing to look me in the eye, either. It’s the latter that gets under my skin.

As her core clenches around me, her pace becomes more frantic. I love the greediness in her movements, the race to fall over the edge. The way her breath fans across my neck and her fingers dig into my back.

Every thrust carries us closer to oblivion, and even though I’m as anxious to reach it as she is, I slow my movements and rasp, “Look at me, Blake.”

With a jerky shake of her head, Blake burrows closer. “Keep going, Theo.”

“Look at me first.”

Another shake of her head. “I’m close.”

“Which is why I want you to look at me.” I tangle my hands with hers and unhook her arms from around my neck.

Her eyes are squeezed shut as her chest rises and falls, taking every slow, deliberate thrust while meeting it with her own.

I push away the hair clinging to her damp forehead and cup her cheek while continuing our pace. “Look at me, Blake.”

“Let me enjoy––”

“Now.” I smack the outside of her thigh just beneath her ass.

Her eyes snap open, and her lips part on a moan as she looks up at me, her stare glazed with surprise.

“You’re with me, Blake. Not some random dick. Not Burrows or Austin or fucking Tukani. Me.”

Her hair is wild, splayed across the bare mattress like a halo of fire as she touches my cheek and whispers, “You.”

Satisfied, I dig my fingers into her ass and thrust harder. With her green eyes focused solely on me, I push us over the edge.

“Theo,” she whimpers, coming around me and tearing the last of the barriers I’d put between us in two.

I pulse into her and press my forehead to hers as we catch our breaths.

Fuck.

Well that was…something.

BLAKELY

Holy shit. I just had sex. And not only did I just have sex, I had sex with Theodore Taylor. No, no. Teddy Taylor. My Teddy Taylor. Scratch that. He isn’t mine. He’s…Colt’s, I guess? Honestly, I’m too wound up to really grasp anything other than the blanket of euphoria wrapped around every single nerve of my body as I lay on the mattress like a melted candle. What I do know is Theo’s taking off the used condom.

Because it’s what you do when you’ve just had sex.

Which was great, definitely, but what the hell am I supposed to do now?

Being a virgin less than an hour ago means I’m less than educated on the whole after-sex etiquette. Do I leave? Shake his hand and say thanks? Do we snuggle? No, that would be weird. Especially with Theo, the one-and-done extraordinaire.

Hell, we’re not even in his room. We’re in a random one in the basement.

Classy, I know.

Also fitting, considering who I let take my virginity.

But it’s weird. Grappling with the connection I could’ve sworn I felt when he was inside of me with the realization of who I felt said connection with.

It’s Theo.

Not Teddy.

Theodore Taylor.

He’s done this a hundred times. With who knows how many women.

Does he always feel the connection we shared or am I alone in the feelings department and he got exactly what he wanted out of it? A solid orgasm and another claim to someone’s v-card?

Maybe it’s why he stopped and forced me to look at him right before I came. Because he wanted me to remember who I let claim said v-card, and it sure as hell wasn’t any of his teammates.

It’s because of the bet, I remind myself.

Hell, I’d almost forgotten.

Chewing on the inside of my cheek, I watch Theo’s toned ass flex as he bends forward a bit and drops the used condom into the trash can by the door.

Naturally.

I pull my bra back into place, making sure my boobs are covered. I find my underwear lying on the edge of the mattress and slip them on too. Because, ya know, I’ve already been vulnerable enough in front of the guy to last a lifetime, so…

Numb. The euphoria has officially turned into numbness. I think I preferred the euphoria. I also feel overwhelmed. So freaking overwhelmed it’s not even funny, and it isn’t exactly a picnic, either. My mind feels like it’s going a million miles per minute, and I can’t get it to slow down.

I just had sex with Theo.

Now what?

I clear my throat. Who’s room are we even in? And where are the rest of my clothes? I think my shirt’s still in Burrows’ room. And my jeans? Where are my jeans? A lump on the floor catches my eye, and I sit up, touching the scratchy carpet with my bare feet.

Theo turns to me and smiles, but it looks forced as I slip on my pants. Like he’s unsure. Like he’s as lost as I am.

Rubbing my hands up and down my bare arms, I offer, “Well that was…something.”

He chuckles and buckles up his jeans. “I was just thinking the same thing.”

Awkward.

This is so awkward.

“I should probably get going,” I announce.

I pause before going anywhere. Burrows drove me to the party, and I don’t exactly want to see him. Not tonight. Not after how everything happened. So, how am I going to get home?
