Must Love Fashion(48)
Author: Deborah Garland

“Gwen!” He wiped his eyes. “Honey, are you okay?”

She rushed into his arms, her head sliding under his jaw. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to pressure you.”

“That was hardly pressure.” He cupped her chin to see her face. “You can always tell me what you’re feeling or thinking. That’s the relationship I want.”

He kissed her lightly, but her tongue tickled his lower lip. He opened his mouth for a full and thorough kiss that overwhelmed him with passion. Needing a breath of air, he rested his cheek against her forehead.

Before he could think, he said, “I’ve changed my mind, Gwen.”

Her body hardened and she jerked away. “About what?”

“You’ll see.” He smiled and folded her hand back into his. “Taxi! ”

GWEN LEANED HER HEAD against Andrew’s shoulder while riding back to his flat. Casper greeted them at the door and after treating him to a double head scratch, she and Andrew charged into his bedroom.

Unbuttoning his coat, she breathed and spoke while kissing him. “We can see Milan another time, I guess.”

“I’ve seen enough. I need to see you. All of you.” He reached into his nightstand and took out a shiny gold square. “This is my last one. Let’s make this count.”

“I love how you think.” She slid her coat off.

“I love—” He choked. “Um...”

She placed her hands over his lips. “We’ll find our way there.”

His arm wound around her waist, and he carried her to the bed. After several more kisses, she stripped and dragged the covers aside to slip beneath the cool sheets.

Sigh.

As fashionable as Andrew looked, like always, watching him remove his clothes slammed her with a desire she’d never known. His coat eased down his long arms, and when his sweater was no longer in the way, she sat up to run her hands across tight stomach muscles.

She may have taken too long touching the upper part his body, because he shoved his pants down and stepped out of the puddle they created at his feet. Every inch of skin he exposed rushed her with more heat. His erection bulged through clingy boxers.

“Can I put the condom on you?” Without even touching him, she knew he was ready.

“God, I would love that.” Andrew possessed her eager mouth and kissed her.

“You open it, though,” she whispered. “I get so turned on watching you slice into these things with your teeth, like you can’t wait.”

“I usually can’t,” he mumbled with the packet in his mouth. He turned it over. “It goes on like this.”

She snatched it from his hands. “I know how a condom works.”

“Kiss me while you put it on.” His command enthralled her.

Telling her what he wanted affected her in a way she didn’t think she could ever shake. He groaned as she slid the thin piece of latex over his magnificent length.

There was no time for foreplay tonight. Gwen’s body sizzled hot when he entered her. She felt fire in her veins when they became one. They were connected as never before, sharing their passion for the act and the act alone.

“Oh, Andrew,” she cried out, muffled against his shoulder.

“I know, Gwen,” he said, caught between a sigh and a moan.

When he kissed her, she tasted the wine on his lips and his skin smelled like the fresh cold air from being outside all day. He lifted her leg to get the maximum depth. His long legs and strong thighs gave him the power to pull all the way out and slide back in. He teased her, running his hard, thick length across her aching flesh before sinking back deep inside her, hitting the end of her.

This was certainly the end. The end of any rational thinking about anything. She’d go back in debt for this man. Gladly. He was so worth it.

Gwen’s body went wild, as a burst of energy soared through her. “I want to be on top.”

“Are you sure? I’m close.”

“So am I. I want to take you, make you mine.”

“I am so yours, you have no idea.” He rolled over, but his bulky body forced them to disconnect.

She leaned back, her greedy hands feeling for him. He felt slick in her hand and she slid him back into her aching, needy center, ready to throb and pulse at any moment.

“Wait,” Andrew said, reaching down.

“It’s fine. You’re inside me.” Sitting back, she spread her thighs wide, her body ready to tingle.

He grabbed her hips and rocked her back and forth. “Gwen, that is so unbelievably good.”

Her hands flew over her head, her fingers tangled in her hair. His palms roamed her body, holding her breasts, squeezing hard nipples in between anxious fingers.

“Yes. There. Right there,” she moaned. “That’s it. Yes. Yes.”

His back arched in a steep curve, sending him even deeper inside her. Andrew’s orgasm reduced him to moans and groans. When her own pulsing stopped, she fell onto him. His long arms came up and pressed her body into his. Tight.

He found her mouth and kissed her hard. “Oh, my God. That was incredible.”

She dragged a deep sniff of his chest into her nose. He smelled differently when they made love.

A scent of pure satisfied male drifted gently from him.

A loud meow from the end of the bed drew their heads together.

“Someone wants dinner,” Andrew said with a chuckle.

“That certainly worked up my appetite.”

“I’ll feed him and get the menus.” He leaned forward and kissed her nose.

She gripped the mattress for a firm hold in order to climb down from Mount Morgan.

“Uh-oh,” he said, staring at the bed.

She spun around. “What?

He bent down and from the center of the bed picked up the condom. “It must have fallen off when you moved.”

A touch between her legs confirmed it. Warm and wet, very wet. “Oh,” was all she could respond.

She snuck a peek under her lashes, thinking he’d be looking the other way. His eyes focused firmly on hers. The girl who only had three sexual partners was no condom expert. She’d been so caught in the moment, and so loved the idea of putting it on him, she didn’t want to wait for a damn lesson.

“Is this a...” He swallowed.

“Is this a bad time for me, you mean?”

“Yeah.”

She waved her hand. “No. It should be fine. I’m thirty-five, not fifteen. It’s not that easy to get...”

She couldn’t say the word.

“Oh, okay. Good. I guess.” He closed his hands around the condom and took off toward his bathroom.

Once he was out of the room, Gwen ripped her phone out of her bag. She kept track of her cycle in her calendar. She found the little X from last month and counted to find what her unsafe days would be.

Oh no.

She wore a brave unconcerned face the rest of the night, the gloom of her departure the next morning overshadowed any worry of a sexual slip-up.

After a light dinner and a shower, where Andrew made her come with his mouth, they settled back in his bed.

Gwen’s eyes were heavy, but she didn’t close them. Couldn’t close them. Her head leaned against Andrew’s shoulder while their fingers locked at the knuckles. He never let go of her hand. She focused on the silver lining in the situation, his return home in a couple of weeks.
