Dirty Truths (Boys of Bellerose #2)(43)
Author: Jaymin Eve

“You okay, Thorn?” Rhett was watching me, gaze gentle, as he gave me a moment to sort out my messy thoughts.

“Surprisingly… yes. I’m actually more than okay.” Probably couldn’t walk, and I’d be leaking cum for a week, but other than that, I’d had way worse afternoons with the Bellerose boys. “I expected to feel more freaked out by what just happened, but maybe I’m as rock star as you guys now.”

I shot him a flirty smirk, and he returned it in full. “You think I’d slap balls with Jace for just any chick? Fuck no, I wouldn’t. You’re special Thorny Rose, and I will pitchfork the next fucker who disagrees with me.” His smile fell rapidly as he grimaced.

“Too soon,” I said softly, reaching out to hug him tightly. We needed to clean up, but comfort was first.

“I joke through my pain,” Rhett admitted. “But yeah, some shit is too soon.”

My reply was to hug him harder. “It’s going to be okay. We just have to stick together.”

It was a cliche, but in this situation, I strongly believed that if we were to survive the next few days, we had to start working as a team. Jace continually heading off without us wasn’t safe, and this had to be the last time he did so.

“You’re never getting rid of me now,” Rhett said, and when I pulled back to see his expression, it was serious. That part hadn’t been a joke. “And we should get cleaned up.”

It took more effort than it should have to pull myself away from him and stand on somewhat shaky legs, the aftereffects of that sex session—along with the booze—enough for my limbs to feel tingly, almost as if they were a little outside my control. We headed for the same bathroom we’d already used, determined not to mess up these poor people’s house any more than we had.

Rhett followed me straight in, and no lie, the cleaning up process took a whole lot longer than I’d anticipated, as he stroked calloused fingers across my skin. Sending spikes of pleasure through me.

“Fuck me,” I groaned, and his answering smile was so goddamn smug.

“Baby, I will fuck you here, there, and everywhere.”

A snort escaped me, before I groaned when his fingers reached the junction of my thighs. “What, are we in a Dr. Seuss novel now…” I trailed off as he slipped one and then another finger inside me, pumping slowly, before he ramped up the movement.

“Jace cut us off before,” he murmured, pressing his lips to my shoulder before sliding his tongue across my wet skin, tasting as much of me as he could reach. It was a tiny shower stall, and we were crammed in. Not that either of us was complaining.

“I— I think we managed to— fuck.”

His laughter was low against my throat as he scraped teeth across my jugular. “We certainly managed to fuck, but I need to one up that bastard. You’ll come on my hand, and then we’ll call it even.”

It really shouldn’t have been possible after the multiple orgasms in the living area before, but already I was clenching around his fingers, riding his hand harder and harder as I chased the fucking pleasure thrumming through me.

“Rhett… Zep!”

He groaned, his cock growing harder between us as I jerked against him. “This is how you tame a rock star,” he groaned again.

Breathy laughs and moans escaped me. “By fucking them?”

Rhett shook his head. “By owning them, Thorn. By owning every single fucking part of them.”

The tingles in my center expanded through the rest of my body until I could feel it in my limbs, and as my clit throbbed, I exploded, jerking violently into Rhett. He held me up with the hand not thrusting deep in my pussy, and I had my fourth and equally as impressive orgasm in thirty minutes.

A girl could get used to this sort of pleasure. Might even grow a little addicted to it.

When I finally stopped clenching and shuddering all over him, he slowly eased his fingers from me, and when I reached for him, he stopped me with a forceful kiss. “There’s no time for me,” he said. “They’re probably on tank water here. I’m more than fucking satisfied watching you come apart on my hand.”

Despite his logic, I was disappointed to have this moment cut short. There’d be others though, and with that in mind, we hurried to finish actually cleaning ourselves this time, then jumped out and dried off quickly.

We dressed in the same clothes, since there weren’t a ton of options, and headed downstairs just in time to hear a shout from outside. Rhett stepped in front of me, blocking me from whoever was hollering as they pounded up the front porch and through the door.

I managed to peer around him in time to see familiar broad shoulders appear. Jace had returned, in usual dramatic fashion. “We’ve gotta get out of here,” he said, his hollers from before clear now. “The farmhouse has a couple of cop cars parked out front, and I saw one searching the barn. It’s only a matter of time before they find everything and then expand their search to this place.”

Shit. Fuck. There were so many dead bodies, and Bellerose was too goddamn famous to be associated with that scene. Not to mention that I knew enough about the police and their position in the world of crime to know that if we got taken into custody, our ability to protect ourselves from attack would lessen. Ironically. Naples’s police were as dirty as Siena’s these days.

Until Brenda contacted us with a story, we had to lay low. “What do we do, then?” I asked, stepping fully out from behind Rhett. I appreciated his protectiveness, even if it destroyed me to think of him getting hurt trying to save me. “Where can we go?”

“I managed to sneak in and grab some tack so we can ride the horses,” Jace said coolly, refusing to look at Rhett or me. He was staring at a spot between us, and it’d be amusing if we weren’t once again in another sticky situation. This one far less pleasurable. “I let a couple of them into this paddock, so if you two clean up the evidence that we were here, I can entice them over with some hay. We can use them to get out of here.”

“I can’t ride,” I reminded him, wondering if he’d thought this through. Jace had taken lessons when we were growing up, but my mother had been terrified of horses. So it’d always been a very firm no when I’d asked.

“You can ride with me,” he said, still focused on that spot. “We’ll go straight to the gas station again to contact Brenda. She can direct us to where we go next.”

Ride with me. Hadn’t I done enough riding with Jace already? Okay, I could probably fit some more in.

“You plan on throwing me off at some point and trampling me to death?” I asked, only half joking.

Jace’s gaze jerked to find mine. When our eyes met, a thousand memories exploded up between us. Or at least in my head they did, and I swore I saw the same happening to him. Our fucking might have been hate-fucking, but it had broken the seal we’d had on our feelings for each other. Hate was still an emotion, and a strong one at that. Would we actually survive being in close proximity for the next few days?

Jace’s gaze told me that we’d either kill each other, or fuck again. Maybe both.

“Meet you outside in five minutes,” Rhett said, breaking up the awkward tension. Part of me wished that I was going to ride with him instead, but Jace was clearly in a mood, and it was easier to just go along with his wishes.
