Don't Let Me Down(37)
Author: Kelsie Rae

“Yes,” I whisper.

“Three.” He squeezes my throat softly but doesn’t let me go. “You aren’t allowed in my penthouse. Sex in hotels only.”

“Sounds expensive,” I note.

“I think I can afford it.” His mouth lifts. “But if you prefer, I’m open to your place, as well, if you’re comfortable.”

“But not yours?” I ask.

My carotid artery thrums against his thumb as he rubs it back and forth along my skin. Playing with me. Like he already knows exactly how I like to be touched, and he’s nailing his demonstration.

“I’m particular about my personal space,” he tells me.

“Scarlett never stayed at your place?”

The rhythmic brush of his thumb ceases, and he lets my throat go, trailing his hand up and onto the nape of my neck. He tangles his fingers through the strands of my hair and tugs roughly, bringing my mouth an inch from his. “Scarlett and I lived together for over a year.”

“Oh.”

“Scarlett and I were dating.” He tugs my hair one more time and bends closer. “She was interested in more than my dick. At least for a little while.”

“And your money, right?” I quip but quickly snap my mouth shut. “Shit, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean––”

“Rule number four,” he interrupts, dropping his knee from between my legs. “No lies. If you’re unhappy with the arrangement, you end it.”

“Agreed,” I whisper.

“Good.”

He gives in and nibbles at the corner of my mouth, teasing me while postponing our inevitable kiss. It messes with my head. Leaving me aching in all the right places and seconds from jumping up and wrapping my legs around his waist right here. Right now.

“Should we make rule number five the cliched no falling in love decree?” I twist my head toward his in hopes of making my needs clear.

Kiss me, dammit!

Instead, he pulls away slightly, his eyes darker than ever. “I don’t think it will be a problem for you, now, will it?”

My attention drops to his lips barely a breath away. I shake my head. “No problem.”

“Then I don’t think it’s necessary.” His grip is tight as he slides his other palm along my lower back, splaying his massive hand against the swell of my ass. Heat spreads from his touch and down to my core as I replay his words. The obligatory no-falling-in-love decree won’t be necessary because there’s no chance of us actually falling in love? Or did he decline my suggestion because he knows my heart’s too petrified to beat for anyone after all the shit it’s been through?

Does it even matter?

I’m getting exactly what I want.

Sex with Henry.

No strings attached.

No feelings.

Simply a few solid orgasms.

I lift my head and meet his gaze. Waiting to see if he’ll actually go through with it. If he’ll actually kiss me out in the open parking lot. Which would be a terrible idea. One of many.

Most of the cars are gone, but there are still a few vehicles scattered around. Someone could spot us.

His attention drops to my lips. “Pull away, and we’ll pretend like the last two days never happened.” He leans even closer, his hot breath kissing my lips. “But if you let me kiss you, it isn’t going to stop here. I will take you to the nearest hotel, spread you out on the bed, and taste every inch of you while comparing it to the hotel in Creekside. Because fucking hell, Mia, I’ve been craving you ever since. Tell me you understand.”

Pressing my thighs together, I whisper, “I understand.”

“Good girl.”

Henry takes his time. The tension is stifling and makes me want to rip off my clothes until he finally gives in and kisses me. As soon our mouths connect, his hand slides down, and he cups my ass. The contact is almost more than I can bear, sending a zing of excitement to take up residence in my core. I tug at the edge of his suit and pull him closer, dragging my tongue against his. My shirt rides up a few inches. The cool metal of my car presses against my back as he tangles his fingers in the hair at the nape of my neck and tugs. Shivers race down my spine, my thighs spreading on their own accord, and he shoves his knee between them like before. This time, I shamelessly grind against him. The pressure and friction, combined with the foreplay from the past few minutes, make me desperate. My heart pounds against my ribcage as he rips his mouth from mine, slips his hand from my ass, grasps the handle, and opens the back door of my car.

“Get in,” he orders.

I slide inside, and he follows right after me, smacking my ass and encouraging me to straddle his lap.

“I thought you said you were gonna take me to a hotel,” I argue as my fingers find the button on my jeans, and I slide them off. His chuckle is dark but thick with desire as he watches my movements. His own hands follow suit, tugging at the top button of his slacks. When his very hard erection pops out, my eyes widen, and I take him in.

Yeah. I was right. The dude is hung.

My tongue runs along my bottom lip, but I restrain the urge to bend down and lick him like a lollipop. I rip my attention from his massive dick and meet Henry’s eyes. “Do you have a condom?”

He nods. “I’m clean.”

“So am I, but it doesn’t mean I’m going to sleep with you without protection.”

“Good girl.” He pulls a condom out of his wallet, but I take it from his grasp, ripping the package with my teeth and rolling it on. My fingers trail down the mushroom head as I straddle him, keeping my center lifted until he’s lined up with my entrance.

Am I really doing this? Are we really doing this?

His grip is tight on my waist as I slowly pump him with my hand, teasing him as all the reasons why this is a terrible idea flutter through my mind. Too bad I don’t give a shit.

Ashlyn’s right. I might be great at giving advice, but taking it? Not so much.

“I should warn you,” he grumbles. His dick jerks in my palm. “I like being in control.”

I almost laugh but hold it back as I continue my assault, grinning shamelessly at him. “And this is killing you, isn’t it?” I guess.

His attention shifts from where I’m teasing his cock to my eyes. His own are hot with desire, leaving my skin flushed with anticipation. “Let’s just say, if you aren’t careful, I’m not afraid to take you home and smack your ass.”

I grin, rubbing the head of his dick along my slit as I roll my hips without lowering myself onto him. “You mean, take me to the nearest hotel,” I remind him. “Sounds like a solid round two to me.”

He grabs my waist and holds me in place. Shoving his hips up, he thrusts into me. I gasp at the intrusion and almost see stars as my hand flies to his shoulder.

“Shit,” I breathe out.

Once he’s fully seated inside me, the delicious stretch makes me nearly come on the spot, but I fight it off, enjoying this way too much to let it be over so quickly.

My eyes roll back in my head. “Fuck.”

His own breath catches, and he gives me a cocky smirk. “Ride me, Brat. Let me feel you.”
