Rivaled (Kensley Panthers #4)(24)
Author: Nicole Dykes

Before he comes down my throat, I stand up and turn away from him, bracing my hands on the shower wall. He must have lube stashed in here somewhere because before I know it, his slick fingers are pressing into me and are then replaced with his thick cock.

It doesn’t take long before I’m grasping at the shower wall, desperate to come as his hand wraps around my cock, stroking me in time with each thrust. I cry out a moment before his teeth sink into my shoulder, his cum exploding deep inside me and mine hits the shower wall.

It takes us both a moment to catch our breath before he pulls from my body and we rinse off, climb out, and get dressed. We make a quick breakfast before we head out for a walk.

The trees around his property have beautiful orange and red leaves. My guess is this was a farm at one time. There’s an old red barn and some fencing up around, but I don’t see any animals until we get to the barn. Then I see a few barn cats, roaming around.

I bend down to pet a black and white cat who circles my ankles and meows loudly. “That’s Moo.”

“You named a cat Moo?”

He shrugs and almost looks a little shy about it. “He looks like a dairy cow turned kitten.”

I laugh, but it only makes him more endearing to me. “It’s homecoming week,” I say as I stand up straight.

He nods, picking up an orange kitten as he sits down on one of the bales of hay and places the happy cat on his lap. “It is. You ready for spirit week?”

I groan loudly. “What the fuck do pajamas have to do with homecoming?”

He chuckles and looks more content than I’ve ever seen him, just scratching the kitten’s ears. “Well, Monday is pajama day. I’m not going to complain.”

I laugh and lean down to kiss his lips. “What should we do today?”

I’m not ready to leave yet. I probably should. I’ve been here since Friday night, and I should go home and get ready for the week, but I don’t want to leave.

He shrugs. “I need to go get these little guys some food, if you want to come with me.”

I want to ask him what happens if anyone sees us, but I think we’re getting past that. We both know the risks, but he’s tired of hiding.

“Should we take both vehicles?” I hedge carefully as he stands up and takes a deep breath before shaking his head.

“Nah. We should ride together. Then come back here and feed these guys. Watch the game and make dinner.”

I grin widely because damn it, that sounds like everything I could ever want.

“Sounds like a plan.”

And that’s exactly what we do.

CHANCE

It’s Friday again, and I’m starting to really get used to Kensley. Who fucking knew? Honestly, I’m starting to love it here as I walk through the halls after the pep rally.

Everyone is dressed in red and black. Some have panther tattoos on their cheeks. The cheerleaders are in their uniforms, and the players are in jerseys. Everyone seems to be on a high and ready for the game tonight.

Homecoming in a small town is a big deal. All the downtown businesses are painted red and black. There’ll be a parade later in front of them with the marching band and the entire town in attendance.

I make my way toward the locker room, where I knew I’d find Noah. He’s in his office, a smile on his face, clearly not untouched by today’s excitement. I want to pull him into my arms so damn bad.

I want to drop to my knees and worship him right here in his office.

But I’m not completely insane. I know that wouldn’t go over well during the school day. When he stands up from his desk, though, and closes the door behind me, my heart rate goes through the roof because I know if he wanted to do anything, anything at all, right here in his office, I’d let him.

I’d let him bend me right over his desk and fuck me into oblivion.

But there’s still a deep-seated fear that I could ruin his life—that I would ruin his life if we did that and anyone walked in. It’s enough to keep an erection at bay. I want to make his life better, not worse.

Not ever.

But when he wraps his big hand around the back of my neck and pulls me into a heated kiss, I can’t be responsible for anything after that. He kisses me hard, and I eat at his mouth, our bodies flush. There’s no calming my erection now. My dick is hard and trying to escape my track pants.

He’s not fairing much better, though, his hard cock dragging over mine as we kiss and pant into each other’s mouths, hungry for each other.

He pulls his mouth away, but his grip on the back of my neck stays firm as he looks into my eyes. “I want you so damn bad.”

I smile at him as I lean in and kiss him again. “You have me.”

I can feel him smiling against his lips as he pulls back again, meeting my eyes. “Come over after the game?”

I’m already nodding before he finishes asking. “I’ll be there. I can’t wait.”

His hand slowly travels down my back to my ass as he cups it in his big grasp. “Fuck. I don’t want to wait.”

I kiss the tip of his nose. “I’ll make it worth it.”

He chuckles, “I have no doubt.”

He releases me and walks back over to his desk as I fight to control my libido, open the door, and drop down in one of the other chairs.

“You ready for your first homecoming in Kensley?”

I nod, stretching my legs out before me as I think about the pride I felt walking through the halls earlier. “Yeah. I think I’m fully converted. I’m a Panther now.”

He smiles, shaking his head just as the principal knocks on the door frame, and we both turn to look at him. He greets us happily and walks in without a thought. I watch Noah pale slightly, probably thinking about Anthony coming in here a moment earlier.

But he didn’t.

I try to portray that it’s okay to him through my eyes, but turns out, he’s already shaken it off and is greeting Anthony, talking about the game tonight and looking calm. Totally fine.

He’s smiling more than he usually does, which I’d assume will seem odd from the usually grumpy coach, but Anthony only seems pleased, not suspicious.

Maybe it all really will be okay.

Maybe we won’t have to hide our relationship forever. Who knows? Maybe this time next year, we’ll be able to walk down the halls side-by-side, maybe even give each other a quick kiss goodbye before we part, like I’ve seen a couple of married teachers do many times before.

I allow myself to feel that hope because goddamn it, don’t we deserve that?

I think so.

NOAH

Damn, that was a good game. It was close, maybe a little too close. But my blood is pumping, and my adrenaline is flowing. It was fun to watch, and my players for sure came to play tonight.

Wow. Fun.

I think I’d lost that part of football for a while. I’ve always loved it. It really wasn’t something that was forced on me. I loved the game. Playing and then eventually coaching was always a break from everything else.

And tonight, for the first time in a while, I felt that again.

I can’t wipe the stupid grin off my face when Chance walks over to me, that sexy saunter a promise of what’s to come when we meet at my house later. I cannot wait. I swear my dick has been half hard all damn day.
