Not So Far Away (Worlds Collide The Duets #1)(50)
Author: LL Meyer

A shiver rolls through me from head to toe.

He guides the head of his cock to my entrance to tease me, gently running himself along my slick heat until he’s embedded himself at just the right spot. Leaning over me, he places a palm beside my shoulder and the other takes hold of my jaw. “I want you watching every single inch go in.”

I can only blink at him, wondering where this deliciously overbearing attitude has been hiding. My lack of a response prompts him to squeeze slightly. “Yeah,” I whisper hoarsely, “I’m watching.”

Satisfied with my response, he lets me go and then we both take in the sight of his fat cock lodged between my pussy lips, spreading them wide. Holy shit, when he pushes forward, sinking into me inexorably inch by inch, the slide of him triggers a glorious whoosh of pure hedonism. I turn insensible to everything except the high of my climax that goes for what feels like an eternity.

“I’m sorry,” I finally breathe, still loopy and smiling.

“Sorry?” he laughs with disbelief. “Are you kidding? That was spectacular.”

Then his hips flex and he starts pushing into my sensitive flesh in long, sure strokes that set off little aftershocks of rapture. I reach up to cup his cheek with wonder, watching the intensity on his features grow until it all spills over. I swear, I can actually feel his pleasure as he comes.

We end up mostly horizontal. His elbows have most of his weight, but his head rests on my shoulder, his breaths coming hard against my collar bone. I nuzzle into his hair and run my hands up his back, encouraging him to put more of his weight on me. Instead, he raises his head to give me a tired grin.

“Give me a sec,” he says quietly, dragging himself from the bed to toss the condom in the trash can by the door. He stops on his way back to grab another condom out of his wallet and throws it on the nightstand.

I’m on the verge of saying something teasing like someone’s optimistic or a little presumptuous, aren’t we? but he makes some kind of tsking sound to stop me as he motions for me get under the covers. He gets in beside me and we lie face to face.

“Don’t pretend,” he says with humor, “that that was it for the night. You came after five seconds, and I barely managed two minutes.”

I giggle as he leans in to kiss me.

“I plan on fucking you again,” kiss, “much more thoroughly,” kiss, “and taking my time about it.”

Humming with agreement, I pull myself closer.

“I can’t believe I almost lost you,” he whispers into my mouth. “That I almost lost this.”

“Please, don’t remind me.” I bury my nose in his neck, inhaling his scent, internalizing it, memorizing it.

He sighs. “Thank you for giving me another chance, Opal.”

“Thanks for not giving up on us.”

From there we take our time, exploring each other with lips, tongues, and fingertips, learning the spots that make the other moan and squirm, testing our limits, seeing what pushes us over the edge. He discovers how sensitive my neck is and how to suckle at just the tips of my nipples and then to pinch them with the perfect amount of pressure. And I learn that he loves the light drag of my nails over almost any patch of skin, but over the head of his cock drives him wild.

I’ll be tired tomorrow at work, but never has lack of sleep bothered me less.

When the alarm on my phone sounds at 3:30 in the morning, all I want to do is ignore it and snuggle back down with Ellie in my arms while I breathe in her sleep-warmed skin.

Five more minutes, I tell myself.

If not for the snug fit of my dick against Ellie’s ass setting a whole whack of ideas loose in my head, I’m sure I would have conked out and not gone home at all. Instead, she ends up impaled from behind on my latex wrapped cock, while we lazily bring each other off, still half asleep. Life is good.

She watches me with heavy, sated eyes as I get dressed. When I sit next to her to kiss her goodbye, I feel a pang of displeasure; I wish I didn’t have to leave. But I push it away as a useless thought. No sense in being frustrated over something that can’t be helped.

“I’ll text you,” I whisper before I head home.

The streets are empty at this hour and soon I’m creeping in the front door, trying not to wake anyone. In the dim light, I can see that my foam mattress has already been laid out on the floor in the living room. Despite the incredible night I’ve had, I get another flash of frustration. Again, I push it down. Not having a proper bed can’t be helped either.

Thankfully, the resentment doesn’t linger. After all, I’ve got better things to spend my time focusing on, namely the memory of us tangled together in her sheets. Making love to Ellie is a revelation; the connection between us, the need to see her happy. All of it is so new to me, including that overwhelming urge to control everything. It was unnerving at first, at least until I realized that whenever I gave into it, we were both happier.

I must have finally fallen asleep because the next thing I know it’s broad daylight and I can smell bacon.

Close by, someone whispers something I can’t make out, someone small and sweet who can only be my daughter. I try to pull the covers over my head, but someone giggles and pulls them down again. “We saw you, Papá.”

Without opening my eyes, I reach out to see who I can grab. I get nothing but air and squeals of delight. All three of them are peeking over the back of the couch when I look up. I have to rub the sleep away to take them in. “Are you guys ready for church?”

Carmen nods proudly. “Abuela said we had to let you sleep.”

“How come you’re so tired, Tío?” Daniela asks.

“Yeah, Scotty, how come?” Desiree is curled up in my grandmother’s chair with her phone, presenting me with the very definition of cheeky insolence.

I snort out a laugh. I love my sister, but she’s a serious pain in my ass. “I was so tired because, I, ah, came home late from my date with Ellie.”

“Oh, did she like the flowers?” Rosa asks.

“Yeah, she did. She told me to say thank you to you guys.”

“Really?” Carmen asks, always suspicious.

“Yeah, she did.” I drag myself up to sit with my back against the couch.

“Papá, can Ellie come for Sunday dinner?”

“Huh?” I need some coffee before I answer something like that. “What, tonight? No, she has to work.”

“Next week?”

“Uh, no, sorry, she has to work every Sunday.”

I’m surprised by the disappointed rumblings all three of them make. Are they already invested in Ellie? Or I guess, they’re invested in the idea of her. I swallow hard. I do not want to mess things up. Not only for Ellie and me, but for the girls too.

“Ok, chicas,” Desiree says, interrupting my growing discomfort. “Go help Abuela set the table for breakfast, please.”

There’s a few muttered complaints, but they do as they’re told and Desiree comes to sit next to me on my crappy bed. “You really like this woman, huh?”

I push the heels of my palms into my eyes to try to clear my head. “I do.”

Desi’s smile takes me by surprise. “I’m glad, Scotty. You may be annoying, but you’re not a bad brother.”
