Love is Contagious : A Charity Anthology(267)
Author: J. Saman

Darn, talk about being bold. Where did she learn to talk like this? Or did she just have the brazenness when it came to Dax?

“Screw the talking, then. I don’t plan to waste a minute of this night talking unless it’s to tell you to get naked.” He scooped her into his arms. “Where’s the bedroom?”

“Up the stairs, last door to the left. My stairs are very creaky. Sometimes it makes me think ghosts are living with me.”

Taking his time as he climbed the stairs, he chuckled. “Now we’re switching the conversation to ghost stories. Is that what you decided you want?”

“No, but let me know if you hear them late at night like I do. Scares the bejesus out of me sometimes.”

He paused when he got to the top, eyeing her critically. “Do you check the house out when you hear the noises?”

“I do. I can’t help myself. I never find anyone. Like I said, it’s ghosts. Creepy, right?”

“Yeah, creepy. I’ve never seen a ghost before. Don’t really want to start tonight. The only thing I want to see is you naked. Right now.”

She had been slyly trying to tell him to spend the entire night. Protecting her from ghosts, as lame as it sounded, had been her only good excuse. She could hear moans and creaks throughout the night that did have her quivering with fear at times. That hadn’t been a total fib. But his simple statement don’t really want to start tonight made her assume he had no intention of staying until morning. Just long enough to get his fill and leave. She would take what he was willing to give. How pathetic.

He shoved her bedroom door closed with a kick of his shoe and set her down near the bed. “Are you sure about this, Sarafina? I don’t want to hurt you.”

“If we go in with our eyes wide open, how can anyone get hurt?”

She had the sinking feeling that as much as she hoped to change his mind, a one-night stand was all she would be getting. One night. No possible way to walk away from this without getting hurt. Having the knowledge that he truly didn’t want to hurt her made it not hurt as bad. But there was no way she could turn him away now. She needed this. She wanted it with every breath in her body. He was worth the hurt.

“I’m going to hell for sure,” he whispered right before his lips claimed hers.

She had no chance to ask what that meant. Clearly, he worried about hurting her more than she imagined. Nothing to worry about now. His hands on her back, slipping the zipper down was all she wanted to worry about.

Her dress slid down with ease, leaving her in nothing but a white lacy strapless bra, a white lacy thong, and her silver high heels.

He stepped back to let her step out of the dress. His eyes widened in surprise, gliding down her body in sensual madness.

“This is what you had on underneath this dress. A thong? You are so lucky I didn’t know this at the reception hall.”

She started to undo the buttons on his shirt when he made no move to come back into her arms. “Oh yeah. Why’s that?”

He tossed his jacket to the floor, his shirt joining shortly after. Grabbing her into his embrace, he lifted her around his waist and brought her to the nearest wall. “All I would’ve had to do is find an empty room, slide this little piece of fabric to the side and bury myself deep inside you. Nothing to it when you’re wearing a damn thong.”

“Is that what you’re planning on doing now? Having me against this wall as I wear my little thong and high heels?”

His hands cupped her butt, rubbing them gently over her silky skin. Oh, how she wanted them to make their way to her front.

“Hell, no. We have a bed here. I plan on using it. I just wanted you to feel how I would’ve taken you there if I had known.”

He walked over to the bed, laying her down with a gentleness that touched her heart. One by one, he slipped her shoes off, tossing them to the floor behind him. Divulging himself of the rest of his clothes, he stood for a moment and let her drink in the sight of him.

Muscled from head to toe, a small trail of chest hair led down to the ultimate prize. He stood thick and proud like he couldn’t wait to be inside her.

“Do you like what you see, Sarafina?” he asked with a lustful smirk.

She curled her arms behind her head and crossed her feet. “Yes. I could lay here all night and stare at you.”

“Tough. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll last if I don’t have you now.” He reached down into his pants pocket, took out his wallet and a condom hidden inside a pocket.

Crawling onto the bed, he straddled her body, sliding his hands behind her back, unhooking her bra with ease. Tossing the garment behind him, he bent down and took a nipple into his mouth with feverish delight.

“You taste so good,” he murmured as he swirled his tongue around the hard tip, sucking intensely before moving to her other breast.

Not wanting to regret a moment of this night, she brushed her hands down his back, cupping his butt before running her hands back up. He felt smooth to the touch, the muscles tensing everywhere her hands roamed. She clenched a fistful of hair the minute his hot mouth started to taste the most intimate part of her body. Because she was so ramped up from wanting him, it didn’t take long for her to cry out with bliss.

She felt a snap at her waist as he broke her thong off, unaware that he hadn’t even taken it off yet. His mouth had captured her undivided attention. Hearing a crinkle or two beside her, still enjoying her moment of bliss, she perked up again when the tip of his cock started to slowly enter her.

“You feel so damn good, Sarafina. Tell me you have more condoms. I only have one. And once with you will not be enough tonight,” he whispered into her ear, nibbling, taking his sweet time to enter her inch by inch.

“I think I have some in the bathroom. I hope so. I’m on the pill. We’re safe.”

She never in her life said such words. Safe. Since when would having sex without a condom and relying on the pill be safe? Only when it involved Dax, apparently.

“Safe. You’re safe in my arms, like I’m safe in yours, right?”

She nodded, too afraid to say anything, her attention more on the way his body moved in and out of her. No more words. Letting the magic build between them seemed like a much better plan.

He moved with a slow caress, taking his time to savor each thrust, each moan that filled the air. She couldn’t keep her hands still, the thought that she had to memorize each curve, each muscle on his body centered deep in her mind. Forgetting a moment of this wasn’t acceptable. She needed to sear every part of him so she could take those memories out later and relive it like it was happening again.

Every time he thrust into her with such tender care, she wondered how she could have ever thought this wouldn’t hurt. Crying to sleep would bring her no joy. Clinging to hope would be fruitless. Praying that he changed his mind, a waste of energy. He was giving her everything, knowing this would be their only night together.

What a fool to think otherwise. So darn foolish.

Clutching him tighter as the movements became faster, he locked his lips to hers as the beauty surrounding them became more powerful. Without warning, she let loose everything she had, pouring all her emotions into the kiss, and let the orgasm of a lifetime take her away.

He came with her on the journey, tensing for a moment, then limply fell onto her body as their heavy breathing filled the room.
