Long Live The King Anthology(248)
Author: Vivian Wood

I want it to last forever. This control, this pleasure, this moment of pure understanding.

In the end, I am only human. Pleasure and pressure and a tiny bit of pain overwhelm me. I curse. “I’m going to come.”

“Down her throat.”

Hades’s words drive me on, pumping into her mouth as my balls draw up and I orgasm. She drinks me down without hesitation and gives me another few pulls as if she can’t get enough. That makes two of us. Three of us. I finally withdraw, but I don’t release her. Not yet. Instead, I twist to watch Hades finish her. He must have been teasing her this whole time, bringing her to the edge without letting her cross the threshold. He stops teasing now. He goes after her with the kind of intention that would be terrifying in a different situation. With Meg’s pleasure his focus, it’s sexy as hell. In an enemy searching for weakness? Less so.

He’s not my enemy. Not anymore.

Right?

Meg comes with a cry and a shudder that nearly dislodges my grip on her wrists. She’s beautiful all the time, but when she orgasms, it’s like the walls falling away. She’s unguarded for a few precious seconds. I love those moments. I’m learning to crave them.

Hades moves up her body and kisses her. He cups her pussy possessively, but it seems the contact is meant more as grounding than to send her flying to new heights. I reach out a tentative hand and run my fingers down his back as he brushes soft kisses against Meg’s lips. It still feels surreal that I’m allowed to touch him just because I want to. And, fuck, do I want to.

He finally lifts his head enough to say. “You’re mine, love. And I’m yours.” He turns those dark eyes my way and Meg follows the movement. “And little Hercules is ours.”

“Not so little,” she murmurs with the beginnings of a wicked smile.

Hades chuckles. “Not so little,” he agrees.

My cock’s already stirring. When I’m with these two, I feel like a man possessed, and yet I’m more present in my skin than I’ve been at any other time in my life. My world narrows down to touch and taste and scent. I only worry about what comes next, allowing them to lead me to new heights. I’m not in the mood to be led right now. I know what I want. “I want more.”

Hades’s smile takes on a mocking edge that promises wickedness. “You have a suggestion I assume.”

“I fuck her. You fuck me.”

Meg lifts a hand still limp with pleasure. “Sign me up.”

Hades shakes his head. “Two mouthy subs.”

“You love it.” Meg suddenly laughs. “Maybe you have a bit of a masochistic streak, Hades.”

“Perhaps.” He props himself up on his elbows and looks down at her. “It’s good to hear you laugh, love. It’s been a long time.”

Instantly, she shuttered. “I laugh.”

“Yes, you do. But not like this.” He smooths her hair back from her face. “You’ve dimmed your light, and I’m to blame, at least in part.”

I find myself holding my breath. This is what I want. Well, I want a lot of things, but this is so fucking important. These two people are two broken halves to the same whole, and they’re in danger of shattering because they don’t talk. It seems the simplest of fixes, but ten years is a lot of time to build up baggage. It’s easier for me to pinpoint the problems because I haven’t been here this whole time. I have an outsider’s perspective.

And this outsider knows they need to have a whole host of conversations before they can truly to heal the rift that’s grown between them. We’ve started, and that’s the important thing. Both seem willing to continue, but time will tell. I’m more than willing to push and pester and bully them into talking whenever it’s necessary. The thought fills me with a strange kind of joy, a deep knowledge that they need me, that I offer them something they can’t get anywhere else or they would have done it long since.

We fit, the three of us.

“You shut me out,” she says softly. It’s a variation of what she’s said before.

“I did.” His fingers linger against her skin. “I could tell you weren’t happy. I thought you planned on leaving.”

She stares. “You thought I was going to leave because I was unhappy, so you decided to shut me out and make me more unhappy?”

“I didn’t say it was a smart decision.”

I stroke my hand back up his spine. “It won’t happen again.”

“You can’t make promises like that,” she whispers.

“Yes, I can. You might both withdraw on instinct, but I don’t. If we veer off the course, I’ll stage an intervention. Promise.”

“Fuck, Hercules, you’re such a Boy Scout.” Her words have no venom, just a strange kind of awe.

Hades moves off her to kneel between her thighs. “That’s about enough talking for the moment. We’re on the same page. We’ll decide a course forward in regards to the rest of it later. Right now, our Hercules has a request.”

My blood heats up. “More.”

“Oh, now you have nothing to say. So strange and shocking.”

Hades crawls off the bed and stands. He considers us for a moment, and it’s like a switch being flipped. I’m holding my breath again, but it’s with the kind of anticipation that comes before a violent summer storm. It’s inevitable and I’ll love every moment of it, but it may hurt along the way. He finally motions with those elegant hands. “Fuck her. Make it good, little Hercules, but neither of you are allowed to come.”

My heartbeat picks up, thundering in my chest in anticipation. “Yes, Sir.”

“Yes, Sir,” Meg echoes, though she gives her words an ironic slant.

I snag her hips and drag her under me. “Always so mouthy.”

“You’re one to talk.”

I kiss her in response. Truly, it’s the only thing that makes sense. She’s so fucking warm and soft beneath me, and she wraps her legs around my waist, opening herself completely. It’s the easiest thing in the world to draw back enough to angle into her. I lace my fingers through hers and guide her hands to the mattress on either side of her head. Her pale skin is flushed and her lips are swollen from our kisses…and from my fucking her mouth. The memory rolls over me, and I have to stop moving and close my eyes for a moment, fighting for control.

“Problem?” Hades’s casual question sounds behind me. I have a feeling that if I lose control, he’ll punish me, and while that might be fun in a different situation, this moment means too much to derail.

“No,” I grit out. “No problem.”

“Mmm.” The mattress shifts as he climbs back onto it. I don’t need to look back to know that he’s moving to the spot directly behind me. I can feel him there. He runs his hands down my back and carefully uncrosses Meg’s legs and guides them wide, giving him plenty of space to work with. “She feels good, doesn’t she? Tight and wet and made just for you.”

“For us.”

His chuckle rolls down my spine. “Yes, little Hercules. For us.” He kisses the back of my neck, setting his teeth against my sensitive skin. “Sometime soon we’ll both fill her. Would you like that?”
