Chasing Cain(36)
Author: Megs Pritchard

He couldn’t hold back for long and grunted, “Close.”

Archer’s tongue licked around his shaft as his hand played with Cain’s nuts, and Cain whimpered. Too much sensation, too much pleasure.

Cain’s head arched back into the pillow, and his hands tightened on Archer’s head. “I’m coming!”

He shot into Archer’s mouth, feeling him swallow, and cried out. His body shook with every pulse of come that left him, and the room disappeared. All Cain felt was pleasure, waves of pleasure flooding his body.

He slumped down and slowly opened his eyes, watching Archer tug his dick out and stroke it as he leaned over him. His harsh panting filled the air along with the sound of him working his dick.

Cain watched, captivated at the sight, and groaned when Archer jerked above him. Archer moaned and jerked again then leaned over him, his face scrunching up in pleasure.

Cain jumped when the first splash of warm come hit his body, and he pulled his T-shirt up, watching the pearly white streaks cover his skin. When the last streak his body, Cain smeared the come over his chest and abs, unable to stop himself even if he wanted to.

Archer fell on the bed next to him and lay panting, his skin covered in a faint sheen of sweat. Cain rolled over, resting his head on Archer’s sweat-covered chest.

“Shower?” he asked.

“Then sleep.”

Cain smiled and stood then kicked his jeans and briefs off. Holding out his hand, he said, “Come on. Let’s clean up.”

He pulled Archer up and dragged him into the shower. He wanted to do more, but they were both tired. He helped to clean Archer, both of them sharing soft kisses and touches, and when they were both dry, Cain tugged Archer into bed.

Archer sighed and rolled on his side, snuggling close to Cain. “I’m glad you’re here.”

Cain nodded and kissed Archer. “Me too. Go to sleep, Archer. I’ll be here in the morning.”

Archer smiled and kissed him again. “Night.”

“Night.”

Chapter Twenty-Two

CAIN ARRIVED AT Robert’s house before Archer, and he debated whether he should wait in his car or not. This wasn’t a conversation he wanted to have, but it was one that needed to take place. If he and Archer were going to work, then the fewer people they needed to hide it from, the better.

And he didn’t want to hide it from his dad.

Getting out of his car, he walked up to the front door and walked in. “Hey, Dad, it’s me.”

Lydia stepped into the hallway and smiled. When he reached her, she hugged him and kissed his cheek. “Cain, it’s so lovely to see you.” In a much lower voice, she added, “Dad’s here.”

“Walter?” Oh no. That meant Walter was likely to say something cringey.

“It’s your chance to escape.” She patted his cheek and stepped back. “I know what he’s like.”

Cain nodded and took a step toward the front door when Walter came around the corner. “Cain, where’s Archer?”

“What?” Cain blinked and glanced at Lydia, who grimaced. “He’s not here, is he?”

“No, he’s on his way.” Lydia walked over to Walter and looped her arm through his. “Let’s go out back, Dad.”

“No.” Walter refused to move. “I want to know what Cain wants.”

“I want to talk to my dad in private.”

“Bah. No need for that. We are family now.” Walter grinned. “I need to talk about lube.”

Lydia rolled her eyes and mouthed sorry to Cain. “Cain doesn’t, Dad. Let’s go.”

“Lydia. Stop it!”

“Dad, Cain’s allowed to visit Robert and have a private conversation with him. It has nothing to do with us.”

Walter tried to shake Lydia’s hand off his arm. “You’re all boring as fuck.”

“Dad! Stop that now or I’ll take you home.”

“Oh, give up, Lydia. I changed your diapers when you were a baby.”

“It was lovely to see you, Lydia, but I think I’ll go home now.”

“Cain! Get in here!”

Lydia winked and pulled Walter toward the kitchen. Cain went into the living room and slumped on the sofa, shaking his head. “Why is he like that?”

“He’s Walter.” Robert grunted. “Archer’s coming over. Something we need to know.”

“Dad.” Cain bit his lip, and Robert rolled his eyes.

“I knew it. We suspected something might have happened between the two of you. You had your vacation fling but... I don’t like talking about this kind of thing. It’s unexpected. I thought you’d settle down with a woman. Oh well,” Robert sighed.

“Robert.” Lydia sat next to Robert and kissed his cheek. “We have few minutes before Dad comes back. You and Archer have something. You would have to be blind not to see the connection between you. The way you watch each other.” Lydia smiled sadly. “It’s a complicated situation.”

“I wanted to wait for Archer. This does involve him.”

“He’s parking now.” Lydia rested her head on Robert’s shoulder. “Archer, honey, in the living room,” she shouted.

“Coming, Mom.”

Cain tilted his head. He hadn’t heard a thing, yet she knew he’d come in. Bat like hearing indeed. Archer walked in and paused at the doorway. His eyes scanning the room. “Oh.”

“Yeah,” Cain agreed, biting his lip again. “They figured us out.”

“Not that hard when you both asked to see us today. Sit down, Archer.” Robert pointed to the space next to Cain. “You might as well sit next to your boyfriend, or is that partner now? You’re both in your thirties, so I think boyfriend is the wrong word to use.”

“Er.” Archer looked at Cain and shrugged. “Partner, I think.”

Cain nodded. “I prefer that too, and we’re kinda figuring this out. We don’t want this to cause problems.”

“I know you; you’ve thought a lot about this.” Robert nodded toward Cain. “When did you decide to do this?”

Cain glanced at Archer, who shrugged. “We talked a lot before we made our decision, and you’re right, Robert, we know there could be some fallout from this.”

“Some?” Lydia muttered. “Can you imagine how the gargoyles will react?” She gave them both a pointed look, and Cain felt his cheeks heat up.

“What did I tell you? Bat like hearing,” Archer said to Cain. “Mom, come on. Like I give a shit about them.”

“They’re my friends, and yes I’m well aware what they think about gays. I hope at some point, they realize their mistake and come to accept that being gay isn’t a crime.”

“We have talked about this.” The conversation was getting off track, and Cain didn’t want to be discussing this when Walter came back. “We’ve made ground rules, and we’ve decided, for now, to keep it quiet, but we wanted you to know as our parents.”

“Damn, that sounds all sorts of wrong, Cain.” Robert shook his head, sighing heavily.

“But you’ll support us?” Archer asked, glancing at Cain.
