The Best Man Plan(45)
Author: Jaci Burton

“Is that right?”

He reached around her to deftly unhook her bra, then slid that off as well. “Yeah. You, naked, spread eagled, my mouth on your pussy while you scream.”

She drew in a shaky breath as her mind came to grips with the visuals his words evoked. “I could get on board with that.”

“Good. Lie down.” He drew his shirt off and made a pillow out of it for her head. The one thing she liked about him—okay, there were a lot of things she liked about him, but this was one of those many things—was that he always thought about her comfort.

“You could climb on top here and go to town on me,” she said, offering up her best suggestive leer.

“That comes after.”

“I see you’ve thought this out in detail.”

His lips curved, and that sexy smile held a lot of promise. “I think about you a lot when I’m lying in bed at night.”

“Really.” Despite the cool air-conditioning vent blowing out some icy air, her body flushed hot as she mentally conjured up Jason in his bed, his cock in his hand doing some serious hand job movements as he fantasized about her. Her sex quivered and she couldn’t help but open her legs, inviting him in.

He smoothed his hand along the inside of her thigh, then teased the top of her sex with his fingertips. “Oh, yeah. In my mind, I’ve had you here, up against the wall in my bedroom, outside against the tree—” He cocked his head to the side. “And then in the tree.”

She gasped as he slipped two fingers inside of her. “In the tree?”

“I haven’t exactly figured out the logistics of that one, yet, but in my fantasies it works great.”

Right now, she didn’t care about location as long as he kept rubbing her clit with the heel of his hand and pumping his fingers in and out of her. “Yes, keep doing that. Right there.”

And then he replaced his hand with his mouth, his fingers moving in her while he sucked her clit. She raised her hips off the island and bucked against his face, riding that wave of ecstasy all the way to heaven, then hell, then heaven again.

She kept her eyes closed, savoring the euphoria of that incredible high. When she opened them, Jason was naked and climbing on top of the island.

She smiled and opened her arms.

“This is not the most comfortable bed,” he said.

“Hey, fulfilling fantasies here, right? Comfort isn’t the idea.”

Fortunately, he had an oversized island, so he lay next to her, then rolled her on top of him. He smoothed his hands along her back.

“Your comfort is important to me, though.”

She sat up and ran her fingers along his stomach. “You know, when you were giving me that mind-blasting orgasm, I wasn’t thinking about whether I was comfortable or not.”

“Good to know.”

He grasped her hips and rolled her along the length of his rigid cock. She was happy to see he’d already put on a condom, so there’d be no break in the action. And she was so ready for more. She lifted, positioned him at her entrance, then slid down on him, watching his face as he entered her.

She sighed her contentment.

“Good?” he asked.

“So good.”

After that there were no words, just moans and sounds and the feel of him taking her right where she wanted to go. She leaned forward so she could look at him, touch him as she rocked against him and took them both right to the edge of oblivion. And with every thrust she moved with him, felt that innate sense of oneness she always felt with Jason that both settled and unnerved her at the same time.

He pulled her fully on top of him, gripping her hips in a tight embrace as he ground against her in a tight fusion that left her gasping. Their gazes stayed connected in such an intimate way it nearly blinded her in its intensity, but she couldn’t look away, because he was so beautiful in the way he moved, in the way he’d captured her with his body and with his soul. There was such heat in his gaze she wanted to fall into that fire and let it consume her.

And when it did, she cried out and Jason dug his fingers into her hips, going at the same time with a shudder and a groan that only intensified her climax and left her shaking in its wake. She collapsed and lay her head on his chest, absorbing the wild beats of his heart.

They lay like that for a long time, Jason stroking her sweat-soaked back. Erin was sure her limbs were useless and they’d probably have to sleep like this.

“It’s like lying on stone.”

She lifted her head up to look down at him. “Well, it is stone.”

“Back. Killing. Me.”

She laughed and climbed off of him and they both finagled their way off the counter. They went into the bathroom, slipped into the shower for a quick rinse-off, then got dressed.

Jason went to let Puddy out, so she found him outside on the patio.

“I see the rain has stopped,” she said.

“Yeah. Humid as hell, though.”

She’d wound her hair up in a bun on top of her head, so fortunately the humidity wouldn’t mess with her hair. She leaned against him. “I don’t know about you, but I could use a cold drink.”

“Beer?”

“I was thinking ice water.”

He grimaced. “Fine.”

She laughed and they went inside. She fixed them both glasses of ice water. Jason gulped his down in a few swallows, then fixed another while she sipped hers.

“Did you work up a thirst?” she asked.

He gave her a hot look over the rim of his glass. “You could say that.”

She picked up her phone and checked the time. “I should go.”

He laid the glass on the counter. “Or, you could stay with me tonight, and I could bring you home in the morning.”

She laid her hand over her heart. “What would the family say?”

“That you’re finally out having some fun?”

No one would notice, and Agatha was probably with her dad. She knew it was fine. No one would care.

The only thing she had to worry about was her heart. Jason was dangerous, and she’d have to be on guard.

“Sure. I’ll stay.”

“Don’t make it sound like a death sentence.”

She rolled her eyes. “Jason, I’d love to stay with you tonight. But it’s not bedtime yet. Whatever will we do with our time? Maybe watch some TV?”

He laughed and stalked over to her. “I’ve got a few ideas.”

Her body instantly flared with heat. “I’ll just bet you do.”

Good thing she could do her job on only a few hours’ sleep. She had a feeling she wasn’t going to get much shut-eye tonight.

And she wasn’t complaining about that at all.

CHAPTER

twenty-four

AT LEAST JASON didn’t have to wear a suit to this thing, so he was thankful for that much.

He didn’t know shit about what paparazzi did or how they did it, but he sure as hell could point a camera at someone and press a button. And if it made the bride happy? Okay, correction. If it made Erin happy? Then great.

They were all gathered in the main house, and Maureen and Johnny Bellini had barbecued brisket and corn and made a few salads. Plus, there was plenty of beer and wine. So, all things considered, Jason couldn’t really consider this work. It was more like a party, especially since a lot of his friends were here. Then Finn had brought in some of the whiskey he’d made, and it had really started to feel like a party.
