Hummingbird and Kraken(24)
Author: Reese Morrison

All he could do was take it. Take it and try not to come.

Just as he was so close that he truly didn’t think he could last another second, the pressure stopped.

He whimpered hopelessly. One smooth arm was still inside him, but motionless, and the other arms resumed their soft, casual exploration.

They returned eventually to his cock, handling it gently and curiously. He expected all of the motions to slowly ramp up again, edging him like they had before.

But that wasn’t the destination at all.

Instead, a thin tendril of one velvety arm began to tease at the slit of his cock. His eyes sprung open as he realized what his sea monster meant to do. Geir was taking him at his word, and he would truly be penetrated everywhere.

He’d dreamed about this, and to be doing it here, now, with his mysterious kraken was blowing his mind.

Strong, human arms came around him, and he could almost feel Geir’s concentration as the tendril slowly eased into that tiny, sensitive opening that had never been penetrated before.

He had no words to describe how it felt. It was strange. Then startling.

And then, suddenly, glorious. The thin, flexible tip stretched farther than he thought it could, so deeply inside him. He felt so helplessly controlled. The idea that even his cock was being made to accept some part of Geir sent him into swells of pleasure.

He could no longer keep up the fiction of being taken by some unknown monster, and he twisted his neck to find Geir’s mouth. Geir kissed him hungrily, biting and sucking at his lips.

His fingers plucked at Declan’s nipples, adding one more sensation to the uncontrollable rapture sweeping his body.

Geir massaged him inside and out, the feeling beautiful and overwhelming. It felt like it was reaching right into his very core. When that long, questing tendril reached what must be his prostate, he felt himself start to drift apart.

He shuddered and shook, feeling the bite of the toothy suckers as they held him perfectly bound. His mouth, his nipples, his sensitive prostate that Geir was circling and caressing, all came together in a symphony of pleasure. And inside of him, penetrating his cock in a way he’d only dreamed about, was that impossible tendril.

He could feel every inch of it, every tiny shift of muscle, every way that Geir was owning and controlling him, until it all came together in a dazzling explosion.

The stars wheeled above his head, echoing back the sparks that ripped through his body as he came. Geir licked at his ear, adding one more impossible sensation to the wondrous pulsing washing through him.

Slowly, Geir withdrew from his ass and his cock, the twin sensations setting off a second small ripple of pleasure.

He felt the strange pressure in his dick release into the water as Geir withdrew, and he let it go.

In a soft flurry of arms, Geir turned him around so they could face each other, and Declan clung to his neck.

“How was that, Hummingbird?” Geir finally whispered against his cheek.

“Better than anything I could have dreamed.” He was feeling soft and sleepy now. And so incredibly intimate with this man who had become so important to him in just a few short days. He was Geir’s hummingbird and everything was perfect.

In quiet surges of motion, Geir started propelling them toward the shore.

“Don’t let go of me,” Declan whispered. He couldn’t bear for this to be over. He needed to be near Geir like he needed his next breath.

“I won’t,” he promised. “But we can’t stay in the water or you’ll get cold.”

“OK, Daddy, just don’t let go.” He only heard the word after he said it, but he wasn’t going to take it back. He was feeling too small and safe, his feelings for Geir too large and transcendent, to call him anything else.

As they reached the shore, he felt Geir’s body shift, the smooth motion of tentacles giving way to fumbling legs on the rocky bed of the lake.

“Hold on tight, Hummingbird,” Geir said as he climbed the ladder onto the dock.

Declan wasn’t letting go either.

Chapter 11

Geir

Geir slid his half-eaten slice of toast onto Declan’s plate and was rewarded with a sunny smile. He’d made another loaf of bread a few days ago, and this was the last piece.

“Are you sure you don’t want it?” Declan asked.

“I don’t need to eat. You should eat it.”

“That is so cool,” Declan said around a mouthful of bread. “You don’t need to eat ever?”

Geir shrugged. “I don’t think so.”

“Wow.” Declan licked the crumbs from his lips, then made a sensuous show of licking his fingers.

Geir’s cock stirred and he thought about tasting those fingers with his mouth. And maybe his tentacles. Declan sure looked like he’d enjoy it.

All his impulses told him to wrap Declan up and never let him go. To keep him somewhere dark and quiet and solitary, inaccessible to the world. Maybe a cave. Or at least the couch.

But he knew that he couldn’t follow Declan around all the time, no matter what he wanted.

Those were kraken impulses. A way to ensure that mating rights were secure, and offspring were produced.

In a human, it was pointless. And probably irritating. Stifling. He’d had past partners tell him that, over decades and centuries, but he’d never felt the need this strongly before.

He fought down his impulses. He was human. Declan was human.

Declan needed to be free.

He’d seen that the past few days, the way that Declan’s body was always moving, his mind always racing. Declan darted from one thing to another, asking questions and telling stories. When he wasn’t cooking or dancing, he was fixing up pretty little things around the house or pulling Geir down to the lake for a swim.

The only time he was still was when he was drawing or when Geir was holding him.

But Geir couldn’t hold him all the time. He knew that. It was just hard to remember.

He stood abruptly and headed for the door. He needed to get away before giving in to his impulses.

Only Declan was at his side again, tugging at his arm. “Where are you going? Can I come? Maybe we can go swimming?”

Geir shook his head.

He didn’t want to get used to this. Declan kept talking about finding a job. He wanted to see Rohahen and May again. It seemed like he was always talking about being somewhere else. Geir couldn’t give in to his kraken and keep Declan at his side every second.

“Do I get a kiss goodbye, then?” Declan batted his eyes. They were a pale green today, and his skin sparkled with a faint sheen in the light from the window. His lips were plump and pink and shiny. He was like a magical creature, elusive and beautiful.

Geir dropped a kiss to his lips, capturing them hungrily and fighting back the pressure at the base of his spine.

It was hard to leave him when he was whimpering and gripping Geir’s arms. But that urge to wrap him up told him enough. He needed to give Declan space.

“See you later,” he said gruffly, pushing him away.

“Mmmmm… I can’t wait. I’m going to make something with those eggplants today. I still need to figure out getting internet somehow…” He gave Geir a pointed look.

Geir had no response. He didn’t have internet. Probably the People did. Or somewhere in town. It just meant that Declan would leave.
