Hummingbird and Kraken(65)
Author: Reese Morrison

He collapsed forward, confident that Daddy would catch him.

Daddy gently pulled out, moving and arranging him until Declan could cling to him, face to face, and offer his face up for a kiss. Their lips and tongues softly tangled. Declan wanted nothing more than to be absorbed into Daddy’s body. To never be separated again.

He closed his eyes as Daddy carried him into their house and laid him on the bed. Only when Daddy pulled back to let go did Declan move. “Not yet. Stay close just a little longer,” he whispered.

Daddy settled down over him like a blanket. He could barely expand his chest, but he didn’t want to anyway.

Daddy dropped kisses along his forehead and down his cheek. “Was that good?”

Declan giggled. Had Geir actually been nervous about that? He certainly wouldn’t have known at the time. “Daddy, that was amazing. No, better than amazing. Phenomenal.”

“And are you happy?” Geir asked.

“Happier than I’ve ever been in my life.” He nestled into Geir’s bulk. This was home.

Geir grunted, but Declan could interpret all of his different tones, now. Geir was pleased.

Geir dropped another string of kisses along his cheek, as soft as flower petals. “Are you… do you think…”

Declan looked up. Geir didn’t speak often, but when he did it was usually with confidence. Aside from the day they met, Declan didn’t think he’d seen him this flustered.

“Could I… I mean…”

Declan kissed his collarbone and then his chin, the only places he could reach. “Whatever you’re about to say, I’ll probably say yes. Cock cages, yes. Elope to Vegas, yes. Visit Atlantis under the ocean, yes. Carry your alien kraken babies, yes. And if not, I’ll never be upset with you for asking.”

Geir’s laughter shook Declan’s whole body.

Declan loved seeing Geir this happy, this free with himself. “Well, now you’ve got me curious.”

“I just… I think I love you. Is that alright?” Geir mumbled.

Warmth exploded in Declan’s chest. “You really mean it? You really, really mean it? And you said it, too?” He kissed every inch of skin that he could find.

“Apparently,” said Geir, dryly.

“Well I am passionately, madly in love with my Daddy. Is that alright with you, too?”

Geir rolled them over so that Declan was on top and his arms and tentacles could coil around him, anchoring him in place. “That’s very alright with me.”

His forehead wrinkled. “You know there aren’t alien kraken babies, right? Like, I can’t get you pregnant.”

Declan sighed. “Well, I know now.” He hadn’t quite been serious before, but he would have definitely considered it.

“And when we get married it will not be in Las Vegas.” Geir shuddered for effect.

“Ooh… was that a proposal?”

Geir spanked him with one open palm. “No. When I propose you’ll know it.”

Declan was so getting married. He grinned.

“But what’s a cock cage?”
