Hold Firm (Biker Daddy Bodyguards #1)(32)
Author: Sue Brown

Someone likes the taste of himself.

He would remember that for the future. Maybe save a mouthful to share with Quinn.

Then Quinn shoved Cade onto his back and, before Cade knew what was happening, his briefs were tugged down and Quinn gave him the fastest blowjob he’d ever received. It was over embarrassingly quickly, Quinn’s hands pushing him down into the bed as he spurted over Quinn’s face. That was so hot, especially when Quinn licked his lips. Cade grabbed Quinn’s chin to clean him off with gentle licks. They were both messy with come and sweat.

Quinn collapsed back on the pillows and stared up at the ceiling. “I think I just ran a marathon.”

Cade giggled and curled up against him. They both needed a shower, but it could wait. Sated and happy, Cade was on the edge of sleep when he felt Quinn, who was wrapped around him, stiffen.

“What’s wrong?” Cade asked sleepily.

“I heard a noise.”

Cade hadn’t heard a thing. “The house creaks sometimes.”

“I’m just going to do a check and I’ll be back,” Quinn promised with a quick kiss to Cade’s cheek, then he slid out of bed.

“Don’t be long,” Cade said.

“I won’t.”

Cade thought about joining him, but he’d be in the way. He listened as Quinn padded down the stairs. His Daddy took such good care of him.

Please let me be able to keep him.

Chapter 13

Quinn

Quinn had tentative plans for the following day after Cade’s meetings, but Cade seemed distracted and out of sorts. After breakfast, Cade said he was canceling all the meetings and spending the day in the studio. Oh well, Quinn’s plans could wait. He cleared away the breakfast dishes. In the middle of loading the dishwasher, he heard footsteps behind him. To his disappointment, Gareth stood in the doorway.

Quinn raised an eyebrow. “Is everything okay?”

“Just checking to see if you need me today. The record company need an extra driver.”

“Go for it. I don’t know if Cade wants to go out, but we can get a car.”

Hopefully we’ll be using two wheels, not four.

Gareth smiled and disappeared, only to be replaced by Cade who gave him a shy smile. “I wondered if you’d come sit with me in the studio. I feel a bit lonely.”

“Do you have to rehearse now?” Quinn asked.

“No. I’m ready for the gig. I just have some thinking to do and playing my guitar helps.”

“Want a change of scene?”

Cade raised an eyebrow. “Like what?”

“Let’s take the bikes out.”

Quinn saw the excitement in Cade’s eyes.

“Both bikes?”

“Why not?”

“I thought I was on house arrest.”

Quinn snorted. That theory would have been great if Cade had complied. “I’ve got us some backup.”

Cade’s eyes narrowed. “Like the CDR team?”

“Among others,” Quinn agreed.

Jace and Padraig would be there, but so would his brothers.

Cade looked unsure and Quinn grinned at him.

“We both need to get out of here.”

“Where are you thinking?”

“It’s a surprise. Full leathers. We’re going to be on the Hogs all day.”

His boy gave a positive shimmy of excitement. “I can’t wait.”

“Get ready. We’ve got to leave soon.”

Cade bolted out of the kitchen and up the stairs. Quinn listened to make sure he was out of earshot before he called Doug.

“It’s a go.”

“Are you sure about this?” Doug asked.

“Yes. We need to be seen together, and Strada’s got the message now.”

“You hope.”

“If he hasn’t, I’ll make sure he gets it.”

“You’re a thug,” Doug said.

“Yeah.” Quinn knew exactly what he was. He also didn’t care.

“Jace and Padraig are ready.” Doug snorted. “They’re like little kids at being given the Harleys.”

“Did you tell them they have to give them back?”

“Yeah. They gave me a message to give to you.”

Quinn grinned. “Oh?”

“You’ve got to catch them first.”

“We’ll be out in fifteen minutes,” Quinn said, and disconnected the call before he chuckled. He’d have given anything to see the two operatives’ faces when they saw the bikes. They may talk the talk about their racing bikes, but give them a Hog and they were like kids in a candy store.

He met Cade in the entry ten minutes later. They were both in black leathers, helmets under their arms.

“Where are we going?” Cade asked.

“Wait and see.” Quinn opened the door and Cade gasped at Jace and Padraig on the Harleys in front of the steps.

“What the hell?”

“We’re gonna meet up with my chapter. These two had to be riding Harleys.”

Cade chewed on his bottom lip. “I don’t know. I thought we were going by ourselves.”

Was that disappointment in his voice?

Quinn laid his arm over Cade’s shoulders. “You’re safe, boy. The chapter is all LGBT+ friendly.”

It would do Cade good to meet with other people where he didn’t have to pretend, and his chapter welcomed anyone in the community.

Cade blinked. “All gay men?”

“Women too. We travel a long way for a once a month meet. I wasn’t going to go this month, but we’re as safe as we can be, surrounded by my brothers and sisters.”

“I never rode with anyone else. Eric didn’t like me riding my bike with anyone except him, and the management team always made a fuss.”

Quinn curled his lip. “I figured as much. Which is good because Strada’s unlikely to interfere, and you get to do something you love.” He hugged Cade against him. “Still want to go?”

Cade tilted his head to look at him. “I never met a bodyguard who let me have so much fun.”

Quinn ached for him. Cade was still so young, and in the spotlight all the time. He needed time to enjoy life too.

Quinn watched his boy unfurl like a butterfly in the sunshine. Cade had been reserved and quiet when Quinn had introduced him to the chapter, but once he discovered they really didn’t care he was a celebrity, and the only thing they cared about was the Harley, he relaxed, and it didn’t take long before he was in a heated discussion with half a dozen others about… Quinn didn’t have a clue what they were talking about, he was just happy that Cade was enjoying himself.

Jace and Padraig stayed close by, not getting involved. Quinn played the possessive asshole boyfriend. Despite what Quinn had said, he didn’t trust Strada not to take another pop at Cade. As far as the whole world was concerned, Cade was his, and it was obvious Cade loved it, loved being owned by him. Could Quinn give him up when this was over?

“Quinn?”

He started at Cade mentioning his name. “Huh, what did I miss?”

Cade chuckled. “Mo asked if you were ready to move out?”

“You’re getting old,” Mo mocked.
