Cruel Infatuation(41)
Author: Kelli Callahan

“Hey, woah, no. You didn’t use the bathroom. Don’t you know what squirting is?” he asks, pulling my hands away from my face.

“I haven’t done anything like this before, so no. I don’t know.”

“It’s when your orgasm is so intense, you come, like me, with a bunch of fluid. It’s a man’s dream.”

I shove him. “No wonder you have that grin on your face.”

He gives me a little dance with is upper body. “Means I did my job well.”

“Dork,” I snort, but remember the incredible sensation he gave me. “You can do that to me every time; I’ll be thankful.”

“If I can do it every time, I might feel superhuman. It might not be good for my ego.”

“Hey…” A knock sounds at the door. It sounds like Heaven. “Is everything okay in there? Someone sounded near death.”

“Idiot,” Owen says, and then a slap is followed. “They were fucking.”

“But … she…Oh… Oh!” Heaven snickers. “You dog, Grayson!”

“Stop eavesdropping, you fucker.”

“Ow, okay, stop pushing me. I’m going. Don’t you want to tell them why you’re back so early? The doc kicked you out.” Another slap sounds, and I don’t know if it’s Heaven slapping Owen or the other way around.

“Dillon is still asleep and fine,” Owen bellows through the door. “There. You happy? Get to walking.” Another slap sounds, and I hold back a giggle.

“I’m going! Jeez. Everyone is so mean to me,” Heaven sounds like a child.

Grayson and I end up in silence as footsteps echo down the hallway, and their bickering gets further and further away.

He presses a kiss to my temple and flips me over again, grabbing a bottle of lotion from the nightstand. “I’m sorry. I should have asked before spanking you. I got carried away.” The lotion is cold on my hot skin, and I sigh in relief. It feels good.

“I liked it. Don’t apologize. I trust you to take care of me.”

“I don’t want you to think I have no control. I don’t ever want you to feel like I’m like them. I’m not. You make me come unhinged, but there isn’t a time when I’m not thinking of you.”

I roll over onto my back and sit up, laying my hand on his chest where his heart is thumping, and his skin is sweaty. “I know that. I know you aren’t like them. You know how I know?”

He tosses the lotion to the side and settles in beside me. “How?” he asks.

“Because I love you. I didn’t love them. I feared them.”

He flips me over again, and if we keep doing this moves, I might get lightheaded. Jeez. “You love me? With a kid and all?”

“Because of the kid and all. I love you, Grayson.”

“I love you too, Finley. God, so much. I love you.” His lips are slow as he pries open my mouth and slides his tongue against mine.

His cock is sliding inside me again, and the urgent, desperate need is gone, and he makes love to me. He whispers in my ear how much he loves me and needs me, the words cascading another orgasm down on me.

I don’t remember much after that. Just darkness. Just sleep.

And Grayson’s arms strapping me safely against him.

Chapter Nineteen

GRAYSON

I throw on my shirt and head toward the kitchen, careful to close the door quietly behind me so I don’t wake Finley. She’s still sleeping after the long night we had. I don’t think an hour went by where I wasn’t inside her. I was desperate and needed an escape. I needed to feel her, be with her; she was there, alive, confessing her love for me, and I drowned myself in it.

I do feel better this morning, maybe after we shared our mutual love, the dozen orgasms, or maybe the decent rest I got. I feel lighter. I don’t feel so doomed. I’m still scared, but I’m not panicking. My mind is clear, and I’m ready to go back to the hospital. I’m ready to see Dillon.

“Maggie had to leave this morning,” Jaxon says as he flips a pancake in the skillet. “She said she’ll call with more information on your ex when she has anything new. She also asked to give her an update on Dillon. She wants to know if she’s a match; if so, she will make a special trip back.”

“Wow.” It hits me. If she’s gone, it means she trusts me with Dillon. It’s officially me and him. “Alright.” I sit on the stool, and Jaxon slides a plate over to me, filled with pancakes, bacon, fruit, and then he pours me a cup of black coffee. “What’s with the spread?”

“I want to make sure you eat. The day will be long. We got it. You have packed bags too. Just in case if you need to stay at the hospital. More bacon?” he offers, stretching out the sizzling pan.

“Uh, no. I’m good. Thanks. This is plenty.” I glance down at the mountain of food on my plate and wonder if they think if I’m fat. I bite into a piece of bacon and nearly groan when the savory meat nearly melts on my tongue. That’s so good.

“There he is! Work up an appetite, Gray? I heard you,” Heaven teases me and slaps his hands on my shoulder then gives them a quick squeeze. “You’re a monster.”

“Idiot,” Owen slaps Heaven on the back of the head again. “Leave the man and his sex life alone.”

“Yeah, really. You and Finley having sex got my pregnant wife worked up, and I got laid too,” Jaxon speaks a little too freely. “By all means, continue to do what you do, man.”

I choke on my coffee, and Heaven pats my back. “You okay?”

“Fine,” I croak. “Wrong way.” Wrong information. I don’t need to know they got turned on.

“It was hot. Jesus, dude. You kept the entire house awake,” Sebastian saunters in, messy hair and a hickey on his neck. I haven’t seen a hickey since I was a teenager. “Worth it.”

“Hey-O!” Jaxon holds up his hand for a high-five, a move usually done by Heaven, and Sebastian meets his palm with his own.

“You guys need to buy porn if you’re getting all hot and bothered over the sounds of me and Finley.” I bite into a pancake. “And don’t listen to us. It’s weird.”

“As if we can help it. I heard her across the house. Remember, your room isn’t soundproof like the rest of ours, and you might want to invest in it. ‘Oh, Grayson. Yes, harder. Oh, god!’” Heaven mocks Finley, and for some reason it’s bothering me.

I lay down my fork, wipe my mouth, spin around on my stool and launch toward him, pressing him against the couch with my forearm against his throat. “All you fucks listen to me. I won’t apologize for what Finley and I did. I don’t appreciate you guys going on and on about it. It’s pissing me off. And you…” I rear my fist back and slam it across his cheek.

“What the fuck!” Heaven yells.

I grip him by his shirt and lift him in the air, bringing his face close to mine. “Don’t you ever mock her again. Don’t you dare. I would never do that to any of you. When she comes out here, I don’t expect any of you fuckers to say a word; do you understand? Or I swear, I will live to make you regret it.”
