Alien Goddess Kat (Makaen warriors Book 2)(55)
Author: Zina Wes

Dykan had to hurry, because he felt he couldn’t hold back much longer. His Kitten felt too good around him. He scratched his canines over her neck, piercing her soft flesh slightly. A few drops of blood appeared and he licked them up, savoring her delightful taste on his tongue. He bit his inner lip until he tasted his own blood, then he kissed her, flinging his tongue against hers as he pumped inside her, wilder and wilder.

Dykan felt the muscles in her pussy tense, clenching around him, and Kat yelled out his name as she reached her peak. Her body quivered uncontrollably underneath him.

Even if he had wanted to, he could no longer hold back. His body tensed up and with a roar he climaxed. Waves of pleasure engulfed him as he pumped his seed inside her, over and over again. It felt as if his orgasm would go on forever. He kept thrusting until he was completely spent. He dropped down, totally exhausted, enjoying the feeling of a still-trembling Kat around and underneath him. They were both sweaty and panting and, if she’d experienced even a fraction of what he had, completely and utterly fulfilled.

Dykan rolled to his side, pulling his Kitten with him. He had just enough energy to kiss her sweaty forehead before he fell asleep, holding her blissfully in his arms. She was his, forever.

Kat flung her eyes open. She had fallen asleep in Dykan’s arms after having the best sex ever.

She slapped her head. Shit, she had forgotten the joining ceremony. How long had she been asleep?

“Dykan, wake up.” She shook his shoulder. He opened his eyes sleepily, lowered his gaze to her neck and smiled contently while scratching her skin with his claws.

“Dykan, we need to get back to Cassidiri. I can’t be late for the joining ceremony.”

His expression changed immediately to one of rage, and he jumped out of bed.

“You are mine now,” he snarled. “You are not going.”

Kat blinked in confusion. What the hell was this about? She rolled out of bed and wrapped the blanket around her body. Dykan might not have a problem with nudity, but she couldn’t argue with him naked. And she knew this was going to be an argument.

“Yes, I am. You can’t tell me what I can or cannot do.”

“According to Makaen law, you are my female and you have to obey me,” he stated with a proud look on his face, pointing to her shoulder.

Kat frowned. “What do you mean according to Makaen l—”

She gasped when she gazed at her left shoulder and saw something huge and black on her skin. “What the hell?”

Kat ran to the mirror, looking at her reflection. Seeing a tattoo run from her neck and dipping down beneath the blanket, she slapped her hand to her mouth. Baffled, she opened the blanket and saw that the tattoo ran all the way down to her hip.

“Damn it, Dykan,” she yelled out, jerking around while pulling the blanket around her again, “what have you done?”

“I bonded you to me,” he answered as if she had asked him a stupid question. “The old way. But don’t worry—it’s still legal as long as the bonding is completed. And you carry my markings, proof of a completed bonding.”

Her eyes turned big. “You bonded me to you, without asking my permission?”

Dykan looked offended. “No, I would never do that. I asked your permission and you said yes.”

“When?” she asked with a high-pitched voice.

“When we fucked. I asked you if you wanted to be mine forever, and you agreed.”

Kat’s jaw dropped and she stared at Dykan for a short while.

“I didn’t know you meant that,” she huffed, pointing at her neck. “Furthermore, you asked me if I wanted to be yours while your ridged penis was inside me and your pheromones were exploding in my body. At that moment, I would have said yes if you’d asked me to kick a puppy. You can’t ask important questions like that when we’re having sex.”

Dykan’s ridges furrowed. “So, you don’t want to be bonded to me?” he asked, concerned. His hand curled into fists.

Kat sighed. How did she feel about being bonded to Dykan? Frankly, the thought of belonging to him made Kat’s heart flutter. Yes, the man definitely needed to work on his communication skills badly, but it was clear to her that this was…right. For Makaen bonding was forever, till death. He wanted to be with her till death. The emotional avalanche that hit her took her breath away. Her eyes teared up. She couldn’t deny it anymore: she loved this wonderful bastard so much. This was as it was supposed to be, how they should end up. She was his and he was hers from the very first moment they met. He’d just made it official a little bit too swiftly.

“No, Dykan,” she whispered, her throat tight with emotion. “I want to be bonded to you. I love you.”

With a load growl, he scooped her up in his arms and planted kisses on her shoulder.

Kat giggled. “Just promise me that next time, you’ll talk to me about the important things first. And not during sex.”

“I can do that,” he grunted.

“And you can explain this to my father. He’s going to kill you.”

“Don’t worry your pretty little head about that, my female. Fathers adore me. I’ll wrap him around my tiny claw.”

Kat snorted. “You’re delusional, Makaen. Fathers don’t adore you. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were several fathers in the universe who actually wanted to strangle you.”

Maybe it was best if she herself talked to her father, with Dykan standing behind her. Way behind her. At least out of arm’s reach, just to be certain. Knowing her mother, she would be just fine with this. Her mother loved a good romance, and the rest of her family just wanted her to be happy. But her father would frown upon Kat marrying a Makaen, a former enemy. She would convince him of her love for Dykan, though, she was certain of that.

“Female, this is no way to speak to your bonded. Maybe as punishment, you should show me what else you can do with your mouth.”

Kat giggled. “We don’t have time for that. We need to get back to Cassidiri for the joining ceremony.”

Dykan stiffened. “I told you, you are not going,” he said harshly. “You are bonded to me, so you can no longer be joined with that human.”

“What are you talking about?” Kat narrowed her eyes. “I’m not joining with Lucas?”

“Of course you’re not,” Dykan stated. “You are bonded to me.”

Kat shook her head. “No, I mean, I never intended to join with Lucas. Whatever gave you that idea?”

“That human, Lucas, told me. He said he was going to marry the love of his life and he gestured to you.”

She gazed at him incredulously. “Was my brother standing near me at the time?” Kat asked after a while.

Dykan thought for a moment. “Yes. Why?”

Kat pouted her lips and gave him a suggestive look.

It took some time, but then Dykan’s gaze went from questioning to understanding.

“Oh, you mean the human and your brother?”

Kat nodded.

Then Dykan gaze turned to horrified, and it was Kat’s turn to stiffen.

“You’d better not have any problem with two men loving each other,” she murmured.

On Cassidiri and on most places on Earth, this was accepted—normal, even. But she knew there were cultures and alien species that weren’t there yet. Personally she found that idiotic. Why did it matter who you loved: man, woman or…blob? But it was as it was.
