Kink 101 (Fall in Love Series Book 1)(2)
Author: Annelise Reynolds

“Excuse me.” I hit the green circle and put the phone to my ear. “Hello?”

“Bae, I’m so so—”

“Don’t call me again, Adam. You got my message, we are done.” I hung up the phone and squared up against the hunky professor that didn’t want me taking his classes. “As for you, why I’m pissed off and crying is none of your business, but I can assure you that I won’t be taking any of YOUR classes.”

I walked away hurt and confused as to why I was madder about him telling me not to sign up for his classes than I was seeing the picture of Adam dick deep in Justine.

It dawned on me that being angrier at Professor Hawthorne, whom I’d known for an hour, over Adam, who I’d dated for years, was just another sign that Adam and I weren’t right for each other.

Chapter Two

Liam

Fuck. I watched her beautiful blonde ponytail disappear out the door, wanting to go after her. The irritating thing was, I knew that I shouldn’t. Paisley Monroe. I knew exactly who she was once I saw her last name. She was off limits to me in more ways than one, but that didn’t stop my cock from standing up straight when I touched her to keep her from falling.

Maddox was going to kill me if I touched this girl. Not only was she his landlord’s daughter, but she was the best friend of his new girlfriend. Knowing who she was kept me from going after her right then and there. I had to be careful how I handled this situation, and so far, I’d fucked it all up.

I ran a frustrated hand through my hair, regretting my choice of words. I told her not to sign up for any of my classes because she was a distraction I didn’t need, and I wasn’t sure I could see her several times a week and not want more from her—not want everything from her.

For nine years I’ve taught at this university. I’ve been hit on by faculty and students in the past, and never once was I tempted to cross that line. One look at Paisley and I knew that I wouldn’t just cross that line, I’d erase the damn thing all together without a second thought.

I saw Maddox fall hard and fast for his new girlfriend. Hell, Tyson and his new bride made it down the aisle in what had to be the world’s quickest courtship, and already, they were expecting their first child. I thought they were both crazy, but after my run in with Paisley, I understood what they had both tried to describe to me.

Her long silky blonde hair would look good wrapped around my fist as she sucked my cock. Paisley’s creamy thighs locked around my waist as I pounded into her tight pussy would be heaven on earth. My cock was rock hard just imagining all the things I wanted to do with her—to her. I wanted to teach her how to please me and take her own pleasure in the process. The way her eyes lowered when they met mine let me know that there was some submissiveness running through her blood. It made me hungry for a taste of her sweet innocence, and from the way she blushed when that asshole looked her over, I knew she was innocent. In all my years teaching, I’ve never wanted to clock a stupid kid so hard as I wanted to today. He needed to keep his hands and eyes off Paisley.

Sighing, I pulled my phone out of my pocket and sent a quick text to Maddox, asking him to meet me at The Recovery Room, a small hole in the wall bar that was a block from the hospital and police station. Cops and medical staff frequented the bar after long shifts. I knew he wouldn’t want to stay long at the bar, but I didn’t want to risk going to his house and Paisley seeing me—not yet—not until I talked to Maddox.

After shooting off the text, I grabbed my stuff and went back to my office. Professor Bryant’s class was my last one of the day, so I wanted to get some paperwork done before heading to the bar to meet up with Maddox for a drink.

-*-*-

The bar was crowded for a Monday night. A football game was going on the giant screen above the bar, so I grabbed an open seat to wait for Maddox to arrive.

“Haven’t seen you in a while, Liam. How’ve you been?” Chugs, the bar owner, walked over and put a beer down in front of me, popping the top off before he passed it over.

“Doing good. How about you?”

“Living the dream.” He spread his arms out to his side and sent me a smirk. Chugs was a retired police officer. He’d been on the force for twenty years, then opened this bar when he decided he had enough.

“You been busy?”

Chugs laughed and picked up a rag to wipe down the bar top, “Steady. A few of the guys always come in here after every shift change, plus there’s always the day staff at the hospital. They come in dressed in scrubs and looking exhausted.” Even as he said it, the front door opened, and a group of women dressed in scrubs came in. I looked at each of them and felt nothing like what I felt in the classroom when Paisley walked in.

I turned away from the group to look back at the game. Maddox was running late, so I sat back and pulled my phone from my pocket. I knew I shouldn’t look her up on social media, but I did.

She was easy enough to find, Paisley Rae Monroe was active on her social media accounts. I scrolled through her posts, seeing pictures of her and her friends. I stopped when I saw a message in all caps.

YOU AREN’T WORTH IT YOU STUPID COCK TEASING, BITCH!

Anger boiled in me at the angry post. I quickly clicked on the guy’s name and went to his page. Adam Mathis was a complete dick. I noted the time on his post, and it was over an hour after I’d seen her in class. Whatever happened to upset her, it wasn’t this fucker’s post on her page.

“What’s up Liam?” I didn’t notice that Maddox came into bar because I was so wrapped up in scrolling through her social media and seeing this douchebag with her.

“Who is this asshole?” I thrust my phone into Maddox’s hand, ignoring his greeting.

“What?” He took the phone and looked at the post. “Why are you on Paisley’s page?”

“I’ll explain in a minute, but who the hell is Adam Mathis, and more importantly why the fuck does he think he can talk to her like that?”

“Adam is her boyfriend,” he read the post on her page, “or ex-boyfriend it seems. I’ll talk to her when I get home tonight.” He slid the phone back over to me. “So, how do you know Paisley, and why are you acting so protective of her?”

Maddox was a smart guy, so I knew he already knew why I’d asked him to meet up with me on a Friday evening after work. The big crowds weren’t in this bar on Monday nights. They were at Club Paradigm or the local sex club, Deviance.

“You know why.” I took a sip of my beer and pulled my phone away from him again.

“She’s your student, man, you can’t fuck up your career.”

“She’s not my student. I filled in for another professor today. Paisley was in that class, and after it was over,” I gave a frustrated sigh and ran my hand through my hair. “I fucked everything up.”

“How?”

I finished off my drink, Chugs brought Maddox a bottle of water and stood close by, obviously entertained and listening to our conversation.

“After class, I told her never to sign up for one of my classes. She didn’t understand why, and obviously,” I gestured to my phone, “something else was going on that I didn’t know about.”
