Shepard A Spawns of Chaos MC Novel(3)
Author: Rae B. Lake

Any form of technical improvements we had in our club came from Tex. Also, all pharmaceutical enhancements came from him as well. That last version of weed he engineered was too strong, and the potheads were all having seizures. We had to pull it off the streets.

“No, this is different, this is my Blue Bunny.”

The powder that he already had to the side had a blue tie-dye looking effect to it. I was guessing that’s where he got the name of it.

“What the fuck is it supposed to do? You smoke it or some shit?”

“No brother, it’ll be the best trip of your life literally, and the amount of fucking that people are going to be doing-” He bit his lip and closed his eyes, clearly getting himself excited by the thought of fucking. “Let’s just say when it’s complete, everyone is going to want some.” He turned off the flame.

“Is the shit going to be done today?”

“No, why you want to test it? Let’s give it to Ava. Do you think she’ll let me titty fuck her now? I want to stick my dick-”

I snapped my fingers to get him to focus. There was nothing harder than trying to get Tex to stop thinking with his dick.”Hey, I got to roll out, you coming?”

“Yup, let me get my piece. I’ll meet you outside.”

I nodded, and threw the mask in the trash as I walked out, “If you ain’t outside in five minutes, I’m taking off without you Tex.”

“Fuck you. I said I’m coming.” He was turning all his shit off. The last thing we needed was a fire in this place.

I walked out and got seated on my bike. Tex was out within three minutes.

“Let’s get this money, brother.”

Chapter 3

Gianna’s POV

“Gerry, I’m tired of your shit!” I could feel my face getting hot, and I knew I was going to cry. It was always the same thing when it came to Gerry. He’d be on the straight and narrow for a while, and then one day, I’d look up, and half of my shit would be out on the street because he used the rent money to score.

“Gianna shut the fuck up with all the dramatics! I have other things to deal with other than being a little bit late on the damn rent. He’ll give us an extension.”

I picked the notice up from the table and shoved it in his face, the bright red letters on the top of the letter said otherwise, “No they won’t! This is an eviction notice Gerry, not a past due! They are going to throw us out on the street if we don’t pay.”

I pinched the bridge of my nose, trying my hardest to stop the tears I didn’t want to fall. “Just give me what you have, I will see if they will let us start a payment plan or something.”

He looked away from me and scratched the side of his head.

“Gerry, how much do you have?”

“I can make the money back. I can sell a few things; I can do it.” He said more to himself than to me.

“The hell does that mean? Don’t tell me that you don’t have any money? How is that fucking possible, Gerry! I just gave you my half of the rent two days ago. Where is it?” I asked, already knowing what he was going to say. It was up his nose, in his veins, or in his fucking stomach. We were fucked, once again, I’d put my trust in my brother, and he’d let me down. I was so through with him. This would be the last time that I would move. This would be the last time that I would trust that he would be a responsible adult and pay the bills like he is supposed to.

My brother had a very hard time with depression, so he self-medicated. When he started smoking weed it was fine, he was relaxed and the brother I remembered from my childhood, but now he was hooked on the hard shit, he was nothing like he once was. He was just a junkie.

“Jesus Christ, Gianna, get off my fucking back! I said I would take care of it. I’ll fucking take care of it!” He got up from where he was and stormed off into his room like a teenager. He even slammed the door for effect.

I ran straight to my room and flopped on the bed. I buried my head in my pillow and cried. It was just all so unfair. I’d played my part in this fucked up teenage drama. I didn’t want to leave my brother. I didn’t want to give up on him like everyone else had, but he wasn’t giving me much choice. I was twenty-two years old and had three jobs to make sure that I could keep up with most of the bills. I had never had so much as a puff of weed or a shot of alcohol, I should be off somewhere partying, but instead, I was taking care of my manchild brother.

I looked around my room at the pictures and knick knacks that would soon all be in the black trash bags; I’d just become used to this place. It was finally starting to feel like a real home, and now I was going to have to give it all up.

I laid there just feeling sorry for myself, just as sleep began to take me away, there was knock on the door.

I heard Gerry storm out of his room and go to the door.

Good, he could handle the landlord. I was done being an adult for the day.

“I said that I would get you the money by next week, what the hell do you-”

I heard Gerry open the door, and then a commotion followed.

“What the fuck? What the fuck? What do you want?” Gerry yelled as what sounded like a stampeded pushed its way into the house.

I jumped up from my bed, but I didn’t walk out to the main room, I didn’t know who was out there but it didn’t sound like the landlord.

“Gerry boy, you ducking us? Is that what you've been doing? I don’t like assholes that duck me.”

I didn’t recognize that voice.

“Aw man, this ain’t a fun house. It looks like he lives here or something.” A second man said. “I was looking forward to getting my dick sucked.”

I backed away from my door. I had no idea what would happen if whoever was out there found out that I was back here.

“Nah, man. I wasn’t ducking you. I promise you. I was going to get the money to you right away. I know I’m a little late, but I’m going to get you the money. I swear.”

My stomach dropped. I should have known this was what was going on. Gerry owed someone some money. They were here to collect.

“The fuck, do I look like a bank to you? You think there’s a grace period of some shit like that? You owe the Spawns money, and I want that money now.”

I heard something click, but I wasn’t sure what it was.

“Oh shit, please. I promise I will get it. Please, I need more time. Please.”

My hand shook as I raised it towards the doorknob, I didn’t know what was happening, but I had to help my brother. I knew I should let him get beaten up as he deserved, but I just couldn’t do it. I opened the door and walked in on two men I didn’t know and my brother kneeling on the floor. A gun pressed firmly to his head.

“Oh my god! What the hell are you doing? Stop!” I screamed and tried to run to his side.

The larger man stepped in my way and wrapped his arms around my waist. “Aww, now sugar, I wouldn’t do that.”

"Get off of me!” I kicked out, but he wasn’t going to be moved.

“You sharing with your bitch here? Is that why you don’t have my money, motherfucker?” The one standing over my brother asked.

He had yet to even look in my direction, he didn’t know who I was or even what I looked like, but already he was sure that I was a bitch. The gun in his hand didn’t move an inch as I kicked and squirmed in the bigger man’s arms. He was sure of himself and of what he was about to do.
