Gifts for the Season(82)
Author: R.J. Scott

“I’d do anything with you,” he said without hesitation.

It was just full on fucking was something they hadn’t. But it wasn’t because Echo didn’t want to. And he knew how much Peri liked it when Echo fingered him, how he could come in seconds when Echo fucked him with his tongue. And of course Echo wanted to put his dick inside him, they just never usually got that far.

That’s not why. You need to be honest. With Peri and with yourself.

Echo swallowed, pulled Peri into his arms, closed his eyes. Being honest took courage. Holding Peri like this gave him that courage.

“I don’t have a lot of experience and…”

Echo had only fucked two people, and only one of them had been a guy, and both times it had been rough and quick because that’s what they’d wanted. And…well, although Peri was stronger than he looked he was still very petit, and the thought of hurting him, even in a small way made Echo feel physically sick. Peri had been hurt so badly.

He took a deep breath. “You got hurt, you almost died, because of me, and I never want to hurt you. Ever. Not even a little.” Echo swallowed again. Felt Peri’s arms around him tighten. “I’ve been afraid of doing it with you…of fucking you…because I know it’ll hurt. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you this,” he added in a whisper.

“We don’t have to…it’s okay,” Peri said easily. He lifted his hands to cup Echo’s face, his fingers stroking gently.

“I want to. I’m just scared. What do you want?”

Peri blinked slowly. “Want to feel you really deep inside me. Like here.” Peri pulled Echo’s hand to his low stomach, then higher.

Echo closed his eyes. Fuck, he wanted that too.

Peri stepped back to sign, If it gets too much we can stop. I read about it…pain can be from stretching too quickly…from not being relaxed and tensing…from not using enough lubricant.

Echo gave a small laugh. Peri likely knew more than he did. “We’re not great at going slow with one another. We get swept away too easily.”

Taking his hands, Peri grinned. “We’ll figure it out. Together.” We always do, his expression said.

Peri tugged him into the bedroom, then stopped. Echo lay back on the bed and held his arms open. Don’t look away, Peri signed with a smile as he stood at the bottom of the bed.

As if that was going to happen. Echo couldn’t have torn his gaze away if the room was on fire. Peri’s trousers were halfway down his slender thighs. Without breaking eye contact, Peri wriggled out of them and kicked them off, his dick bouncing, half-hidden by his unbuttoned white shirt.

Echo swallowed. Come here. Please. And Peri crawled obediently up the bed and laid himself on top of Echo. It was his favourite place to be. Echo’s too. Echo just wished he wasn’t so fully dressed. But when Peri looked so deep into his eyes, it felt like they were falling again, and Echo knew nothing else mattered, only that he never wanted to land.

“Don’t take your ring off,” Echo whispered, his hands gently pushing the shirt sleeves down Peri’s arms.

“I won’t… Not until you marry me.”

Echo felt his own too small plastic ring tight around his finger and grinned, and then they were kissing, letting a different sort of not-looking-away take over.

Peri

Plastered against Echo’s naked chest, Peri was gone, lost, as Echo’s fingers slid in and out of him. They’d done this before but not so intently, not so deep, and not with quite this much lubricant. Sometimes Echo grazed some sensitive spot inside and it felt so good his whole body shook. He was going to orgasm. He wanted to hold on just for a little longer, but he could feel himself tipping over the edge of it. His knees clamped tight against the sides of Echo’s chest, and he gripped Echo’s shoulders. Immediately Echo stopped moving his fingers, held them still deep inside him. They were both panting hard. When Echo spoke, the words stayed just out of reach.

He licked Peri’s ear, the sensation too much and not enough, did it again when Peri hmmmed in pleasure and nuzzled against him. When Peri lifted his head, Echo said very slowly, “You feel so good like this, I got carried away. You okay?”

Peri nodded. He was very okay. Very, very sensitive to every breath Echo took, every place he was touching inside and out, and very, very close to the edge of what felt like everything right then.

Please, he thought, looking deep into Echo’s eyes. Please be inside me.

Echo nodded tightly. Okay.

Peri’s mouth fell open and he sat up, arching his back as Echo withdrew his fingers.

“Fuck, this is not going to last long,” he thought he heard Echo say.

And then a bigger, somehow warmer sensation than Echo’s fingers was pressing against him—into him. He half-gasped, half-yelped and Echo stopped, lifted one hand away from guiding himself inside. Anxious fingers cupped Peri’s face, stroked his cheeks.

Okay, he blinked. I’m okay.

It didn’t hurt, it was just intense, and he did feel stretched. Really, really stretched. He reached back, felt where they were connected, his fingers tracing the join, Echo’s hardness just inside him, Echo’s fingers wrapped tight around it. Echo groaned and Peri felt it like a bolt of pleasure jolting between them.

You’re on top and in control, okay? He wasn’t sure if Echo was saying the words now or whether he’d said them earlier and Peri was just remembering them. He couldn’t have responded anyway, but he knew it didn’t matter. He could feel how closely Echo was watching him.

Meeting Echo’s gaze, he pushed back, just a little. They both gasped. And Peri kept going, feeling like he was walking a tightrope-like edge, until he could push his body no further and nothing had ever touched him so deep. His head dropped back, and Echo shifted carefully, sat up and was holding him, arms wrapped around his back, so much skin touching everywhere. He’d never felt this full of anything. Never felt this complete. He couldn’t…he couldn’t even think. And it was everything.

Open mouthed, Echo kissed his neck, circled his hips in a tiny movement, and the sensation inside Peri grew too big for his body, too big to contain. He felt connected to everything, star systems, galaxies, oceans, but more than all of that he was connected to Echo, entirely and completely, in every way that he’d wanted.

He heard himself cry out. He reached for Echo, kissed him like he never wanted to stop, felt Echo tense inside him and all at once Peri was blinded by the force of feeling, a hundred blissful edges, an ocean of them that swept them both up and then back to shore.

Echo

Somewhere a church clock was chiming. Echo counted the bells. Midnight.

“Merry Christmas,” he whispered, his fingers tracing Peri’s brow, his nose, his lips.

Peri just smiled, a sleepy blissed-out kind of smile, and blinked slowly at him.

“We never did check if it was snowing, you know.”

“Check tomorrow,” Peri whispered, snuggling closer. “You feel too nice…don’t want to move.”

Echo pressed his face into Peri’s hair. “You’re going to marry me.” He still couldn’t believe it.
