A Business Trip with Dad’s Best Friend(10)
Author: Gena Snow

I flee all the way to the cottage and head straight for the shower. In the shower, I beat myself off thinking about Ivy. For the first time in years, I have a truly satisfying orgasm.

But as soon as I’ve had my release, I realize what I’ve done. My God. I’ve kissed my best friend’s daughter and shit, I want to fuck her, too. This is insane. I’ve gone too long without a woman.

Chapter 9

Ivy

It does take a while for the hot water to come, but I don’t mind. I hardly notice because my mind is full of Gavin and his kiss. I keep rewinding the moment in my head and I still can’t believe it happened. I didn’t see it coming at all. During the day, I felt his eyes on me often, but I thought he was checking on me and making sure I was doing okay. I heard his heart beating fast and loud when we were walking side by side, but again I thought it was just the way he was. He was athletic and, not surprisingly, had strong heartbeats.

So, when his lips pressed onto mine, I was stunned! Oh God. It was my first kiss and it was so delicious. I don’t know what made me say he was a good kisser because I had no one to compare him with. I just knew it because I couldn’t imagine anything better than that. I dreamed about having my first kiss with Gavin a lot, but never thought it would come true. The real kiss was a hundred times better than I had imagined. It was sweet, burning, and consuming. My lady bits were all on fire, and I had to rub against him to ease the tingling sensation.

I step into the shower, hoping the hot water would help me relax, but it only stimulates me more. My blood circulates to my pelvis, exacerbating my ache. I slip a hand between my thighs. My folds are slippery, and my clit is swollen and tender. I shudder as soon as I caress them. I adjust the showerhead, so the water comes out needle-sharp, prickling my skin. It feels like Gavin’s rough hand is stroking my shoulders, my back, and my thighs. I close my eyes and lick my lips, imagining him kissing me again. His lips feel soft on mine. I moan and press my body against his body that’s as hard as the wall. I feel his rock-hard center… oh my God. I try to picture it, but I can’t…I’ve never seen one … not on a real person. Damn. But I know it’ll feel good if I ride on it and rub my aching point against it, over and over….A powerful wave sweeps over me and I cry out, “Gavin!”

I lean against the shower wall and pant. My legs are rubbery. Holy shit. I hope no one heard me. I’m shameless. I’ve fantasized about him many times, but I would always stop at a sweet and tender kiss. What I experience now is new. I’ve gotten needier.

I wrap myself with a towel and step out of the shower. I’m blow-drying my hair when my phone flashes. It’s Kayla texting. I finish with my hair quickly and call her.

“Hey, Kayla!” I say. “How was your day? How was the restaurant?”

“It was a bit busy, but we were fine. How about your day?”

I can’t help giggling before speak. “It was great,” I’m dying to tell her what happened between Gavin and me, but I don’t want to rush.

“Did you speak French?”

“I did, just a little, though, because it turned out the visitors both spoke English well.

I go on and tell her about the French uncle and nephew.

“Is Louis hot?” Kayla asks.

“Maybe,” I say. “He’s good-looking.”

“But he’s not your type,” Kayla finishes my sentence for me.

“How do you know? What’s my type?” I roll my eyes, although there is no doubt she knows me well.

“Your type is Gavin,” she points out sharply. “Tell me what happened between the two of you. Did you confess to him?”

I gasp. She’s so shameless! “Stop making fun of me. No way I’ll do that.”

She sighs. “There, Ivy. You’ve got to grab your chance. Don’t wait until he finds another wife!”

I chuckle. “He won’t.”

Kayla scoffs over the phone. “Don’t be too confident. It’s been years since his divorce. He’s so hot. The chance he’ll find someone is very high.”

“I know, I know, Mom,” I tease her. “But he kissed me today.”

Kayla squeals. “No way!”

“Yes it’s true,” I say, relish the moment I fell into Gavin’s arms before I tell Kayla what happened.

“Wow,” Kayla says, laughing. “What a stale plot. You just tripped over and fell into his arms?”

“Yep!” I say, ignoring her tease. “It’s not a stale plot, Kayla. It’s luck. God’s watching over me.”

“Tsk, tsk,” she clicks her tongue, and probably rolling her eyes, too. “Somebody is tickled pink.”

“You can’t blame me, Kayla!”

“I’m not!” she chuckles. “I’m happy for you, Ivy. It’s a good start.”

I want to tell her more about the attraction between Gavin and me but I don’t. There are things I want to keep for myself. Besides, I want to hear about her day, too.

“Now, tell me about your job!” I say. “How’s your new boss?”

I hear a groan over the phone. “Oh I would rather not talk about him to ruin our mood,”

What? I’m taken aback. Kayla had good opinions about her boss the last time we spoke about him. “You don’t like him?” I ask cautiously. “I thought he was friendly.”

“He’s a jerk!” she complains. “He flirted with me. Can you believe that? It’s only my second week on the job.”

I gasp. This is serious. Kayla is the sweetest person I know and she doesn’t call someone a jerk unless the person deserves it. “What did he say?”

Kayla pause and I can picture her grimace. “He said I had a nice ass.”

“No way!” I exclaim. “He didn’t!”

“He did, in the exact wording! It’s why I’m so embarrassed.”

“My God. He can’t do that! It’s sexual harassment, right?”

“I think so, but what the hell can I do? He owns the company.”

“You can always quit,” I say. “And find another job. You can work full time at my dad’s restaurant, too.”

“Yeah, thanks, Ivy, I know, but...”

“I understand,” I say, guessing the rest. Kayla isn’t satisfied with being just a waitress. “You have better aspirations.”

“You misunderstood me,” she says. “I don’t mind being a waitress. I enjoy working with you and your dad. It’s just that… I told my mom to quit one of her part-time jobs because of her health.”

Right. Being a single mom of three children, Kayla’s mom has overworked all her life, and she suffers from diabetes and other problems.

“I get it,” I say. “The job pays well… but are you sure your boss won’t do anything else to you?”

“Don’t worry about me, little girl,” Kayla says, laughing a bit. “I can take care of myself.”

I’m not convinced that she’s safe, but I don’t know what I can do. “Okay. Please be careful.”

“I will,” she says. “I have to go back to work. My break is up. Good luck with your crush.”
