“We’re mates. In my family’s eyes, we’re all but married already. This would be for you, for us.” He kissed the ring on her finger. “You haven’t answered, Josie.”
“Well, obviously, I’m going to marry you, York. On the very highest wall of the world’s most daring Parkour course.”
He burst out laughing. “We could be naked on a beach. I don’t care how or when it happens.”
“Naked on a beach? Now there’s an idea…”
Josie hopped onto him, straddling him, before lowering down to kiss her fiancé.
“Josie,” he spoke against her lips.
And just like that, her grumpy old man dragon became the biggest thrill of her life.
