Resurrection (The Sainthood - Boys of Lowell High #1)(36)
Author: Siobhan Davis

“Has everyone lost their motherfucking minds?!” he roars, stalking into the room and yanking Galen off me. Galen trips on his clothing, falling on his butt and scowling as Saint lifts me up off the bed.

Pulling back the covers, he roughly shoves me onto the mattress as my vibrator rolls onto the floor. He tugs the covers up to my chin before retrieving my electronic friend and tossing it at me. “Knock yourself out, princess, because that’s the only cock you’ll be riding the rest of tonight.”

“You’re an asshole,” I calmly reply, sitting up and letting the covers pool at my waist. His eyes graze my tits, and the veins in his arms bulge as he flexes his fists. “What’s the big deal? You’ve claimed me as Saint property and forbidden me from fucking anyone else. Unless you want my pussy to shrivel up and die, that means I only have three guys to fuck, because we all know you’re off-limits, stepbrother dearest.” I fling the covers off and stand. “Or is that the real issue, huh?” I plant my hands on his chest and look up at him. “You want to fuck me, Saint, but you can’t, so no one else can have me either. Is that it?”

“Shut up, Lo.”

He steps back, and I walk forward, eliminating the space between us. I palm the bulge in his jeans. “Your body doesn’t lie.”

“I’m a horny guy. You’re a naked slut shoving it in my face. Of course, my body will react.”

“I’m not a slut,” I say, keeping my voice neutral, as I purposely step back. “And I’d rather fuck my vibrator than fuck you.”

He closes the distance this time, grabbing me around the throat and forcing my head back. “Careful, princess. Don’t poke the beast unless you’re prepared to play.”

He lets me go without another word, and they leave, slamming the door shut behind them.

I walk to my bathroom with a big-ass smile on my face and then finger myself to orgasm in the shower while I figuratively pat myself on the back for a successful first seductive mission.

The smirk is wiped off my face when I emerge from my bathroom to the sound of a drill at my door. I pull at the door handle, but it doesn’t budge. I tug on it a few more times, but the result is the same. The bastards have installed a lock on the outside of my door, and I’m trapped.

My hands ball into fists and anger pummels my insides until I remember the cameras. I dash to my tablet, pulling up the app and quickly configuring the settings. I pull up the screens, zooming in on Galen’s room because that’s where it’s all going down.

I plug in my headphones and settle back with a fresh smug grin on my face.

“Is it done?” Saint asks when Caz steps into the room.

“Yes,” he snarls, leaning against the wall and glaring at his leader.

“You, I understand because you lose every brain cell when you’re smashed,” Saint says, poking his finger in Caz’s direction. “But you,” he adds, narrowing his eyes at Galen, “know better. Or is the venom all an act?”

Galen seethes. His arms are folded across his chest, and a vein throbs in his neck. “You know I hate the bitch, but she’s hot. Sue me if my dick got hard.”

His words penetrate deep, and pain slices across my chest. I can’t believe this is all because I refused to make out with him that day. There’s got to be more to his hatred than that. But our paths never crossed afterward. Not until now.

“What happened with you two?” Theo asks what I can’t.

“Why should I spill my guts when you’re still lying about what went down between you and her,” Galen tosses back in his face.

Theo runs a hand along the back of his neck, and messy blond waves fall into his face, shielding his eyes.

“I don’t give a fuck about what happened in the past,” Saint barks. “What matters is right now. Sinner will be fucking pissed if we don’t deliver results soon.”

I sit up straighter in my chair, and blood rushes to my head.

I wasn’t sure how much Neo had told them, but it seems they’re fully up to speed.

Shit.

My mind whirls as I run ideas through my brain.

“I told you this wouldn’t work,” Theo says, swiveling in his chair. “She’s not like most girls. She’s smart as much as she’s sexy, and she’s not easily intimidated.”

“She’s a formidable enemy, and it’s clear there’s much we don’t know.” Saint’s tone is borderline reverential, and warmth seeps into my tense bones.

Fuck. When did I get so needy that the words of an asshole have me practically blushing?

Saint runs his hands over his cropped dirty-blond head, looking deep in thought. “We need to revise our strategy,” he says after a few beats. “And I think I know how.” A malicious glint twinkles in his eye. “Party’s over. Clear the house out.”

The guys move without question, stopping at the door when their saintly leader speaks again. “What happened tonight won’t happen again.” His threat drips with hidden meaning. “No one fucks her without my consent.”

They all nod, and I scowl at the screen, flipping the bird at the cockblocking jerk.

“It’s clear we’ve underestimated the princess.” He cracks his knuckles, smiling devilishly. “That’s the last time she gains the upper hand.”

CHAPTER 17

The assholes clear the house and head out, leaving me to my own devices. I dress in black yoga pants, a hoodie, and my Vans and climb out the window. I shimmy down the drainpipe and enter the house from the rear using my keys. Finding Dad’s drill in the garage, I head up the stairs. Before I remove the giant padlock from the front of my door, I break into Caz’s room and install the last camera.

I stash the padlock in a cupboard in my closet before crawling into bed in the early hours of the morning. The guys still aren’t back, and I want to stay up to see their reaction to the missing lock, but my eyes have other ideas, and I pass out without conscious thought.

Mom and Neo return from their mini vacay Sunday evening looking all loved up, and it turns my stomach. He misses no opportunity to grope her in my presence, and I know it’s a blatant move to force my hand, but I’ve boxed my emotions up again, and I keep my distance from everyone.

They insist on taking us out to dinner that night, and I pick at the food on my plate, a silent bystander as they act like the fucking Brady bunch. Well, a tattooed, pierced, hotheaded, scary-looking version of the legendary family.

The guys purposely ignore me all week, and I wonder if this is their new tactic. Can’t say I’m complaining. I still sit with them in the cafeteria at lunch, at our new table, at the head of the room, but I stick to chatting with my friends, while they entertain the never-ending line of gushing fans.

Their party was a huge success, and now, everyone toes the line. The Saints reign supreme over Lowell High, and it’s embarrassing for Finn how easily they managed to take over his patch.

No wonder, he’s keeping a low profile and hasn’t shown his face in here all week.

The guys are barely at the house, sometimes only coming home just before we need to get up for school, and the camera footage, so far, is giving me jack shit. Dar has messaged me a couple times, and he’s not pleased at the lack of progress, but I can hardly pull the intel out of my ass. I remind him that patience is a virtue and ignore his texts the rest of the time.
