They got quite the reputation for sharing women around campus, but neither of them gave a fuck what everyone else thought. Some rumors started circulating about him and Wyatt being together and he worried he might lose his friend over the gossip. But, Wyatt told everyone to go fuck themselves and that was the end of that. Quinn always admired his friend for the way he didn’t seem to care what everyone else thought. It was something he still struggled with every day, especially in his line of work.
Quinn stuck around campus for another two years, earning his masters while Wyatt enlisted in the Army to pay back his ROTC money. God, he missed his friend and those two years felt as if they dragged on. Wyatt would visit every chance he got, but those trips back to campus were few and far between once Wyatt was deployed.
Quinn never thought he’d worry about anyone the way he did Wyatt. He had become more than just his best friend—Wyatt was like the brother he never had. Quinn considered him his only family now that his parents had both passed and he was sure Wyatt felt the same way about him.
“Do you hear that?” Wyatt asked. Quinn pressed his ear to the door and listened. He heard a woman’s moaning coming from inside and he worried his pretty guest was sick.
“Do you think she needs help,” Quinn asked.
Wyatt held his finger up to his lips, motioning for Quinn to be quiet. His wolfish grin told Quinn his friend was up to no good—or at least he would be soon if he didn’t step in.
“I don’t like that look on your face man,” Quinn admitted.
The woman’s moaning grew louder and when she yelled out, “Oh God,” Quinn was sure he finally caught up to where Wyatt already was.
“I don’t think she needs any help, Quinn,” Wyatt teased. “She sounds as though she’s doing just fine by herself.” Knowing what sexy little Lyla was doing on the other side of the door had him nearly coming in his damn pants.
“Fuck that’s hot,” Quinn growled. Wyatt knocked on the door before Quinn could even take his next breath. “What the hell man?” he questioned.
“I’m not going to leave her fucking room without at least asking her for a chance, man,” Wyatt growled. “What’s the worst she’s going to do—tell us no again?”
Quinn could hear her fumbling around in her room and judging by the amount of cursing coming from the other side of the door, she had stumbled into something and wasn’t in too good of a mood. He could tell their chances of getting Lyla Devlin in bed between them were slim to none, but Wyatt seemed determined.
Lyla pulled open her door wrapped in just a towel and Quinn nearly swallowed his damn tongue. She had curves in all the right places and the tattoo that ran from her shoulder down her side disappeared under where her towel hid her body. He would have given his first million to know what else she was hiding under that towel.
“Hi Lyla, I’m Tank and this is Quinn. I’m sorry we fucked things up earlier but you said to find you when we found our balls,” Wyatt teased. Quinn wanted to groan at just how cheesy his best friend sounded but he didn’t dare.
Lyla giggled and looked them both up and down as if sizing them up. “So, I take it you located them then?” she teased back. Quinn had to admit he liked her. She didn’t seem like the type of woman to take anyone else’s crap. He was always turned on by a strong woman.
“Yep,” Tank boasted. “Got them right here,” he said cupping his cock. This time Quinn didn’t hide his groan. He even rolled his eyes for good measure.
“Hmm.” Lyla tapped her lips with her finger as if she was thinking about something. “I’m going to need to see them for myself,” she said. Lyla dropped the towel and turned to go back into her room. Wyatt’s bigfoot stopped the door from closing on them and he pushed his way into her room, taking her up on her invitation.
“Fuck,” Quinn swore.
Wyatt turned and smiled at him, “Yep, that’s the idea man. You coming?” he asked. Quinn shook his head and followed his friend into Lyla’s room. He wasn’t sure if he was making the right decision but a night of pure unadulterated sex sounded damn good to him.
“I’m in,” he growled, shutting the door behind them.
