Kash (Graffiti Street Tattoo #1)(9)
Author: Brynn Hale

“When did you get this one?”

“About six months ago. A newbie needed to do some lettering work, so I thought about what word would I want on me and I thought about you and I said that I trust the universe to do the right thing.”

As I kiss him, I reach between my legs and slide him back and forth, preparing him with my body. I’m wetter than ever for this man.

I pull away as I lower onto his cock—and it’s the bonus version. Thick, veiny, and just long enough to reach my limits, but not painful. I go slow and he just waits. His hands cupping my breasts and slowly massaging. I whimper as I near planting.

His hands cup my face. “Just wait. Let’s pause and…” He pulls my face to his and his lips brush over mine, slowly, but soon we’re locked in a battle of tongues, reverently, pulling each other inside the other. I slide along his hardness, inching my way down farther and farther until I’m planted to his body. I give a slow swirl of my hips and he moans into my mouth.

I remember what the man likes.

I slowly start to rock, my clit trapped between us. Tingles and pulses working their way back to a fever pitch.

I sit up a little and he holds my hips, rocking me with a casual pace. I tip my head back and play my nipples, working my way down my body to rub at the apex of my body.

I look down at him and I know that leaving Texas wasn’t a bad idea. It was me taking control and getting what I really want in life. I want this man. And I want to feel him explode with me.

“Baby, you’re so hot and wet. I need you…Jolie,” he grunts out my name and I can feel his cock growing inside of me.

He needs me.

“Fuck! Kash…” His name rolls from my mouth on a crackle of heat as my body pulses around him as I fall to his chest in satiated exhaustion.

He thrusts three more times and plants deep, grunts of pleasure rocket through me and I shake in his arms at the sound.

He is mine. He’s worth taking the chance.

Kash

We fell asleep in each other’s arms on the table. Her leg wrapped over mine, tangled in the best ways. I set an alarm on my phone for ten minutes before we had to be back to the house and a beep sounds off.

But it’s not my phone.

“Kash!” The familiar sound of motorcycle boots clacks on the tile flooring.

I open my eyes and in the doorway of my booth Cray’s face heats to a level just under tomato sauce red. Shit.

She’s still sleeping so I hold up a finger.

“Give me a minute and I’ll be right out,” I whisper.

He looks to his sister, cradled in my arms, with a blanket over her legs and closes his eyes. Her bare back facing him, the new tattoo puffy and red attracting his gaze.

“Now…” he mouths and turns toward his office.

Not only have I broken one rule—don’t date/fuck his sister—not that that was a fuck, that was making love and I know it—but I’ve also crossed this, don’t tattoo someone else’s loved one without consulting them first. We all know our brothers and sisters better than anyone, but I get the feeling Cray doesn’t know Jolie. He doesn’t know the strong, independent woman she is.

Like I do.

I kiss her forehead. “Baby, you need to get up and get dressed.”

“Did you alarm go off?”

“No, that was the front door.”

Her eyes pop open and that blue about matches the neon of the front sign that says “Graffiti Street Tattoo.”

I brush soft golden curls from her face. “Cray’s here. He saw us.”

Her mouth opens. “Shit.”

I smile. “Yeah, pretty much. I’ll go talk to him.”

“No. I need to do this.”

“Together?” I offer as a compromise that I have to start understanding how strong this woman is. Supporting that willful side of her as it will take her places.

She nods and stands. I get dressed quickly and then hold up the blanket for her privacy.

She spins back to me. “That was amazing.”

“I heard that,” comes from the entry.

Shit, not in his office.

She rolls her eyes and shakes her head. “This has to end.”

We walk out hand in hand and Cray crosses his arms. His defensive stance doesn’t intimidate me. Sure, he could kick the shit out of me. He’s got bulk that I don’t want or need. I never was a fighter, as much as people think I might have been. One good punch and I’m sure I’d be out.

But I’m hoping it doesn’t come to that.

“Cray…” I start and he holds up a hand.

“You’re moving out of his place.”

Jolie crosses her arms and I see a familial resemblance I never noticed before. They have a wall between them. And I’m adding to that wall.

“No. I’m not. No matter what you think, Cray, I’m not going anywhere.” Jolie’s voice is soft, but tight.

“Then he can go. Kash, you’re fired and I’ll be picking my sister and niece up in an hour from your place.”

I don’t have a lot of experience with family shit. I mean, I have my own issues, and I’m not judging. But they need to take down the walls and be brother and sister…family. They need each other. And maybe that’s more important at this moment…

“Jolie…” I grab her hand and she looks up to me. “Baby, maybe it’s important that you take some time to clear things with Cray.”

“Don’t do this…” she swallows and her eyes fill. I can see how scared she is.

I’m scared too.

“This isn’t the end…” I lift her chin. “I promise you.” I can’t kiss her again because I’ll never stop wanting to. “I think you two need to get past whatever is keeping you apart before we can get together…” I press my lips to her forehead, fighting to kiss her. “Forever.” I look her in the eye. “We’ll get there, I promise.”

“Give me your phone.”

I unlock it and hand it over. She types her number in and then sends herself a text.

Jolie’s lips rise in a soft smile. “I want you to keep seeing Jess.”

“Why the fuck would he…” Cray’s voice almost growls. “Texas…”

And before I know it, my back is against the wall. Nothing breaks except my heart.

“What the hell, Kash? Did you know?”

I shake my head. “Know what? That your sister’s amazing, yes, I know that.”

“That she was my sister and you were going to make another life?”

Jolie grabs at his arm. “Get off of him, Teddy! And no, he didn’t. I knew. I knew he had to know you because he told me where he worked. I took the chance of no protection. There are two people in this.” She stills. “Actually three.”

Cray’s brow furrows. “What?”

Jolie huffs. “Not like that, Cro-Magnon man! I had sex ten days before Kash and I met. It’s possible he’s not Jess’s father.”

Cray backs away. “Do you want to be?” he asks me.

I look to Jolie. “More than anything.”

Cray drops some of his gruff-exterior. “Then I have someone we need to go see.”
