Lani (Devils Souls MC)(9)
Author: LeAnn Ashers

I weigh my options, but the thing is, I have Freddy to worry about. He is literally crazy, he tried to kidnap me, and that’s something serious. They should know before I accept or decline their offer.

“Hey, what’s with that look?” Vinny asks softly, running his fingers down my throat and the side of my face.

“The reason that I moved here, back home from Los Angeles, is because I had a stalker. It’s been happening for months, but before I left to come here, he tried to kidnap me and then when he couldn’t do that, he tried to kill me. As far as I know, the police still haven’t located him.”

I lay it all out for them. This is something completely serious and shouldn’t be hidden, because he’s dangerous.

Trey grinds his teeth with anger. “That means you will be safer with us, honey. We can protect you better than your mom and dad can. The MC will protect you.” He slides his fingers into my hair, gripping tight. “But I will kill for you, Vinny will kill for you.”

Oh wow. I snuggle up to the both of them and they both hold me close. “I’ve been so scared,” I admit. It’s true. It’s been so hard for me to sleep at night knowing that Freddy’s still roaming around free.

He could have hurt so many people. I know Jordan aka Techy has been tracking his phone and credit cards, but they haven’t been used since that day.

That’s what scares me.

“I wish I would have known. I would have fucking kidnapped you from Los Angeles in an instant,” Vinny voices.

I laugh in surprise. They don’t really know me and they’re acting like they care about me enough to be concerned about my safety.

I know enough to realize they make me feel safe. They went out of their way to keep me safe from those crazy people earlier. They hid me and were going to face a mob for me and on top of all of that, I just had amazing orgasms. So yes, I’m going to accept.

I smile. “I accept.”

It’s hard for me to watch them leave the next morning. We find Techy in the lobby of the hotel, so we all ride back to my parents’ house after that.

Techy arched an eyebrow when he saw all three of us that morning. We all looked like we had been thoroughly fucked, but he couldn’t say shit considering Alisha was similarly hobbling.

Now they’ve left, but Trey and Vinny are coming for me later this evening, and that means I’m going to have to tell my parents about it.

Dad is in front of the TV and Mom is cleaning the kitchen, but I just can’t speak to them about it right now because I’m nervous about how they will react.

I’m a grown-ass woman, I’ve made my mind up about it, but that doesn’t mean I don’t care about their opinion.

So I go ahead and pack my bag. Vinny told me he’s going to text me when he’s an hour out.

I would be lying to myself if I said I wanted to stay with them just for the very reason they could protect me, but it’s honestly because I don’t want them to leave.

I enjoyed being surrounded by them last night. I didn’t have a single nightmare. I felt safe and cared for.

I zip everything up in my bags and leave them in the middle of my bedroom floor, then make my way downstairs to face the music.

Mom and Dad are cuddling on the couch in front of the TV. I want that. I want to have that with someone when I’m older, to still love each other as much as we did when we first met.

I sit down beside them nervously. It’s not every day your daughter comes to you and tells you that she’s moving in with two men who she just met.

“What’s the look on your face, honey?” Dad asks, sitting up on the couch, and they both give me their full attention.

“I’m going to go stay with Trey and Vinny for a while.” I lay it all out for them. I wring my hands together in my lap anxiously.

My mom looks confused, and her eyes grow wider and wider as it starts to sink in. “As friends?” she asks slowly, hesitantly.

But no, dear mother, not as friends. “I would say a little more than that.”

My dad’s face turns red. I didn’t mean sex, but I like them as more than friends. Oh well.

“Lani, that’s wrong!” Mom hisses and scoots to the edge of the couch, but I can see the smile turning up on her lips.

I laugh. “Whatever, Mom, you know I’m a lucky bitch. They’re both beautiful.” She pretends to glare at me before she starts laughing. Dad is just looking more and more horrified by the second.

“You’re right, I just had to bust your balls a little. Your dad and I raised you to be whoever you want and to do whatever you please. Even if that means starting your own harem. They’re beautiful enough.” She gets a wistful look on her face.

She’s correct. I’ve had the best parents growing up. Mom thought I was into girls for a while actually, but I just wasn't interested in boys until college.

One day I was in the grocery store with her and she saw a girl who she thought was pretty. She asked if I wanted her to get her number for me, and that’s when I knew I had an amazing mother.

That’s when my phone dings. It’s Vinny, letting me know that he’s close. “Is that one of them?” Mom asks and then busts out laughing.

My father, on the other hand, is still horrified at this news, so I walk over and hug him tightly. “I love you, Daddy, but I’m also doing this for my protection. I had some crazy fans try to attack me last night,” I admit to him in his ear just loud enough for him to hear and not Mom.

His face reddens in anger, “Why didn’t you tell me, Lani?” he says loudly, not even bothering to hide it from my mother.

I push my hair out of my face, “Dad, they hid me and were going to fight the whole mob. They protected me. Plus I’ll be close to Jordan and his MC,” I point out.

They’re pretty legit on the business side of things, but most of them are bad-ass motherfuckers who aren’t afraid to hurt anyone who steps out of line.

“You’re right, baby. I just can’t stand the thought of you getting hurt,” he confesses, showing emotions he doesn’t show very often.

“Dad,” I whisper, hugging him tight.

He has protected us all his whole life. It must hurt him knowing that shit is happening and he can’t control it.

“I’ll be fine. Pictures were taken of me here, but no one will know there,” I point out. I’ve been worried because when I checked out Instagram earlier, I saw pictures of me…a lot of them.

One picture was of me kissing Trey, but his face was hidden, which was a relief.

I also tried to stalk Trey and Vinny on social media, but they have zero online presence, which is a major surprise in this day and age. But I like it. People are too social media crazy.

“Let me go get your bags, baby.” Dad walks upstairs and I’m left alone with Mom, who is watching Dad’s ass as he walks up.

“Ew, Mom.” I gag when she licks her lips.

She looks at me accusingly. “Says the person who’s doing the dirty with two men,” she throws back, sassing me.

Dang, Mom. “Who says I’m doing that?”

“I may be old, but I’m not stupid.” She wags her finger at me and walks into her domain, which is the kitchen
