Author: Marie James

“Come for me.”

God, those three words from his mouth again.

My fingers dig into his back, urging him on, and before I can open my mouth to say the words, I’m falling apart, coming, the orgasm so strong my body quakes from it.

He groans, his cock spasming inside of me, and holds me tighter, his breathing making rushing sounds in my ears.

“Forever, Iz. I’m going to love you for the rest of my fucking life.”

“Same,” I manage because my brain hasn’t come completely back online. “Ready for round two?”

His laugh echoes off the walls as he rolls over, and after he discards the condom, I’m back against his chest, his fingers tangled in my hair.

“Can we have a serious discussion?”

I smile against his chest but decide to tease him anyway.

“Is this where you break up with me?”

He huffs, knowing I’m not serious.

“This is where I ask you about the future.”

“Which part?”

“The part where we live together, where we’re a family and where we get to hold each other all night every night. The part where you’re on birth control or want another baby and I can fill you with my cum every chance we can get.”

I smile. “There’s a lot to unpack there.”

“I know.” He holds me tighter.

“I can get on birth control, but I don’t think another kid is a smart idea right now. At least until I finish school.”

“Good point.”

“And the house together? I was planning to ask you the same thing.”

“Really?”

I chuckle at his surprise. “Of course. I can’t live with my dad forever, and since you have that stupid no-sex-in-his-house rule, then I think it’s best.”

“You want to move out just so we can have sex.”

“That’s not the only reason, but it’s one hell of a good one, don’t you think?”

He kisses me, his hands holding my face as if he thinks I’m going to disappear.

“You’re making all of my dreams come true, Isabella.”

I smile into the kiss, knowing he’s making my dreams come true as well.

Chapter 44

Drew

Months Later

“That’s not it. That one.” I point to the clear bottle of Pedialyte.

“Unflavored?” Jinx scrunches his nose. “That’s gross.”

“Maybe she’s going to mix something else in it?”

“Maybe Izzy is out of it from being up all night with a sick kid? There’s no way she wanted unflavored. That’s made for sick dogs or something. Grape is always better. That’s what I’m getting for River.”

“She asked for the clear.”

“Maybe you need to get some of each just in case.”

“Probably,” I sigh, my hands once again rubbing my tired eyes. “Where do you think the kids got it from?”

Andy, River, Cooper, Amelia and Jamie have all had a stomach virus for the last day and a half. The entire club—all but Apollo because he’s a pussy and throws up at just the sound of someone else gagging—has come together to help take care of the kids.

We still haven’t gotten any sleep, both Izzy and I staying awake just to watch and make sure our son is going to be okay.

“That freaking satanic nursery school.”

I chuckle, exhaustion deep in my bones. “The one at the church?”

He glares at me. “River is spewing like that kid from the Exorcist. All of the children have been infected with a demon.”

I don’t argue with him. Apparently, he hasn’t had much sleep either.

“Cooper doesn’t even know he’s going to be sick. One minute he’s fine, wanting to get up and play and the next he’s erupting on the bed like a volcano.”

I cringe, picturing that exact same thing happening to Izzy and me last night.

“We almost ended up in the hospital last night,” I confess.

“For real?”

“We gave Andy a popsicle, just to get fluids in him. Big mistake. He got sick. We thought he was puking up blood.”

“Popsicle was red?” I nod. “We did that the first time River got a stomach bug. All three of us freaked out.”

“Okay,” I say, looking down at the list in his hands. “What else do we need—”

“Daddy!”

We both turn to see a pale-haired boy running in our direction. He hits Jinx’s legs, arms up high waving in the air.

“Daddy!”

Jinx picks the kid up, but I’ve never seen this child in my life. Telling from the look on Jinx’s face, he hasn’t either.

“Hey, buddy. Where’s your momma?” The little boy turns in Jinx’s arms and points.

A woman, flustered and breathing hard walks toward us, a little girl on her hip.

“Please, just—” she glances over her shoulder. “Just go along with it.”

Jinx nods, but his eyes stay over her shoulder for a second as another man approaches slowly.

“Hey, honey,” the woman says enthusiastically, moving her head to press her lips to Jinx’s cheek.

Jinx, being the dirty dog he is, turns his head, meeting her lips instead. I may be delusional from lack of sleep, but I swear I see him slip her some tongue. The woman continues to cling to him, going so far as to lift up on her toes when he makes to pull away.

When they do finally split apart, Jinx wraps his arms around her waist. They’d look like an all-American perfect couple, her in her sleek looking business suit, two kids, one boy, one girl, if it weren’t for Jinx’s unkempt beard and leather cut.

“How was your day, gorgeous?” He whispers low to her ear as the other man finally makes it to us.

“Reagan?”

“Oh! Brian? Is that you?”

The other man frowns.

“Meet my husband—”

“Miles Alexander,” Jinx says, giving his real name instead of his club one, pulling his arm from around the woman’s back to shake the stranger’s hand

“Brian Wakefield. Reagan, you have kids?”

“We have kids,” Jinx answers, resituating the kid better on his hip.

“With a biker?” Brian asks stupidly. “I bet your dad loves that.”

“It was nice seeing you, Brian, but we need to get back home. The kids aren’t feeling well.” As if to prove her statement, she points to the basket filled with soups, juices and Pedialyte.

“Yeah, okay.” He runs his hand over the back of his neck before finally walking away.

“What’s for dinner, sweetheart?” Jinx’s question is a purr, and the innuendo is so thick around us, I feel like I’m interrupting something.

“I… umm… I’m so sorry about that. You know how exes are. Come on Elijah. We need to go.”

The little boy wiggles to get down, but he turns to wave before falling in step with his mother. “Bye, Daddy!”

Stunned we watch them walk away.

“Who the fuck was that?” I ask. “Do you know that woman?”

“Never seen her before in my life, but for real, man, I’m already in fucking love.”
