Blood & Bones : Shade (Blood & Bones : Blood Fury MC #6)(88)
Author: Jeanne St. James

Judge’s son had headed back to school after Thanksgiving break and now was home until January.

Why he wasn’t chasing Saylor, Shade didn’t know. He spotted Judge’s house mouse and Rev’s younger sister standing by the bar, her arms crossed over her chest and her narrowed eyes pinned on Josie and Ry.

That wasn’t good.

He figured he’d better break up the little flirt-fest because at nineteen, Ry was probably nailing anything with a warm hole.

Shade wanted to guarantee Josie wouldn’t be one of them.

He got stopped in his tracks by Easy’s loud, “Yo.”

Shade glanced at Easy to see he was shouting it to him and not warning Ry, as the brother sidled up to him. “Saylor ain’t happy.”

“See that.”

“She should know Ry’s off limits. Probably why he’s sniffin’ around your girl. Judge will break off Ry’s dick if he puts it in Saylor.”

Too late. That deed had already been done. Probably too many times to count. But that was Ry and Saylor’s secret, no one else’s. Instead, he growled, “Gonna break off Ry’s dick if he even tries to put it in Josie.”

Rev wandered over and noticed the same as they were seeing. “Poor fuckin’ Ry. Kid can’t stick his fuckin’ dick anywhere without gettin’ it ripped off.”

“Kid goes to fuckin’ college, he can fuck plenty of college girls,” Shade muttered.

Easy grinned. “Yeah, I should go visit him at school sometime.” He nudged Shade. “How about her?”

Shade followed where Easy’s attention landed. Which was the bar. Maddie was drinking and laughing. Whip was doing the same with his hand planted on the small of Maddie’s back, way too close to her ass, and his crotch pressed to Maddie’s hip.

What the fuck.

“Yo, Whip,” Shade yelled across the barn. “Twelve-inch distance. Minimum.”

With a frown, Whip dropped his hand and stepped back. Maddie also shot him a frown, but Shade answered it with an arched eyebrow. That was all she needed as a reminder. She rolled her eyes and went back to facing the bar and chatting with Angel.

Rev snorted at that exchange and then asked, “You see the fuckin’ ring Trip gave Stella?”

“Hard to miss,” Shade mumbled. Not because the engagement ring was big, but because it was unique.

It wasn’t a diamond since Stella wasn’t into those kind of things. The ring was a platinum skull head with two large rubies for eyes. Trip had it specially made for her and surprised her with it. It was badass, but also feminine. It fit Stella’s personality perfectly.

Rev said, “He’s really working hard on her to get knocked up.”

“Sure is,” Easy agreed. “Bet they fuck constantly.”

“We all fuck constantly.” Rev’s grin turned wicked as he grabbed his crotch. “Ain’t that why we got dicks that get hard?”

“Mine gets hard, not sure about yours,” Easy said to Rev. “Heard Billie complainin’ about you bein’ limp.”

“She scares the fuck outta me sometimes.”

“She scares us all,” Easy muttered. “But ain’t that supposed to be the fun part?”

After an answering wince, Rev got back on track. “Trip’s plannin’ a big weddin’ here on the farm, most likely next summer. Plannin’ on invitin’ all our allies.”

Shade turned to stare at Rev. “Yeah?”

“Yeah. Like a weekend-long biker blow-out with the Dirty Angels and the Dark Knights.”

Shade didn’t know much about those two clubs. Only that the Fury, the Angels and the Knights now controlled all of Pennsylvania west of the Susquehanna River. Trip wanted to stay in good standing with the two well-established MCs, so it made sense to include them at his wedding, with him being the Fury president and all.

“All right, need my annual Christmas Eve cock suckin’,” Rev announced, rubbing at his zipper and glancing around The Barn in search of a prospective volunteer.

“Billie’s in the back. Think she’s suckin’ Santa off right now while he shouts ‘ho, ho, ho.’ You can get in line,” Easy suggested to Rev.

“Prefer not to have ornaments hangin’ from my balls from those fuckin’ hooks. Gonna find someone who ain’t gonna maim me. Wanna fuckin’ come not cry.”

Shade smothered his laugh, while Easy didn’t bother as Rev wandered away. The mechanic headed toward where Reese and Reilly were sitting.

Yeah, that wasn’t going to happen. Reese would shove the tree topper up Rev’s ass if he walked up to Reilly and outright asked for head.

Actually, Shade wouldn’t mind seeing that.

“Maddie turned twenty-one coupla weeks ago, right?”

Fuck. Maybe the girls needed to go the fuck home and never come back. Chelle might be right with wanting to keep them off the farm. Josie and Maddie were fresh meat in a room full of horny motherfuckers.

“Brother,” he growled in warning.

“Just askin’.” He leaned a little closer. “Whip and I decided that later we’re going to fight to the death for her. She’s fuckin’ hot. You gotta notice it.”

He noticed. He also addressed the possible issues of them coming to The Barn with the girls. Before the big Thanksgiving dinner and also before today. He might have to have that discussion with them again tomorrow or ban them completely. Maybe he’d gotten his words wrong and didn’t make himself clear.

Shade turned to Easy whose eyes were still glued on Maddie. Angel was on the other side of the bar, leaning across it and talking animatedly to Chelle’s oldest daughter. The sweet butt’s tits were practically falling out of her top and Shade swore he could see her nipples from where he stood. Yeah, he needed to have some words again with both of Chelle’s daughters.

“Brother, either of you fuckin’ touch her, you’ll end up in one of the furnaces turned to fuckin’ ash.”

“You sayin’ Chelle’s girls are too good for us?”

“Sayin’ they need to get their college degrees and make somethin’ of themselves. That’s Chelle’s dream for them and as a single mom she worked hard to make that happen. None of you assholes gonna fuck that up. Otherwise, I might even let Chelle push the ignite button on the furnace while you’re still breathin’, if I don’t slam it with my hand first.”

Easy grimaced. The last time someone was burned alive, it left a mark on everyone who witnessed it. Getting rid of a dead body was one thing, incinerating one still screaming was another.

“What about Jude?” Easy asked.

What the fuck? The kid was twelve, Easy better not be interested in him. Then he would be burned alive. “What about him?”

“College. All that shit.”

For fuck’s sake.... He didn’t think Easy had a thing for guys, especially ones underaged, but still... It sucked that Shade’s thoughts had gone there automatically.

“Jude wants to stick around, that’s up to him. Got six years before he can prospect if he wants that. Might wanna do his own thing and get some fancy degree. He’s fuckin’ smart.”

“You sayin’ we ain’t smart enough for Chelle’s girls?”
