River at the Ranch (River's End #14)(37)
Author: Leanne Davis

His mouth stayed on hers as his body pushed deep inside her. It was so hard that it should have been terrible, but instead, it was wild and wonderful. And the places he hit inside her? Those deep, wet, dark, hot places she didn’t know could feel so good until they were hit. In minutes, a richly vivid orgasm slammed through her, making her heart race and her blood boil as he pounded inside her relentlessly. She screamed out with joy. That brought her fully closer and he all but pistoned his eager hips inside her. The wall bracing her, with legs wide and welcoming, she sheathed him inside her wet glove. Sweating and grunting with ecstasy, Asher finally heaved himself into her with a lunge and a loud moan, indicating the satisfaction of his own release.

Chapter 10

BLINKING, ASHER WAS MORE than surprised to see his body parts still worked after his orgasm-filled brain finally managed to register thought patterns again.

What just happened?

The wildest, hardest, hottest sex he ever had. Like he never imagined. He didn’t know it could be that good. That deep. Perfect in every way.

Salty sweat covered their bodies. He still had her pressed against the wall. Somehow, he was able to prop up her body and hold her in spite of his orgasm. Straining under it now, he released her a few centimeters. Her legs dropped from his waist to the ground. She wilted against him, resting her head on his shoulder. He couldn’t see her face.

What had they done? Wild, crazy, hard fucking against the wall? With a girl who told him she had a crush on him since the first day she met him on the ranch. She fantasized about having her first kiss with him. The girl was Daisy, his friend and family. This could not be what she wanted, or could it? What if he hurt her or made her feel cheap or used? Why didn’t he plan it out better? Slow it down? Make a gradual build-up? Why couldn’t he have used some damn finesse?

Basically, because he was overwhelmed. Like the top of his head was blown away now by his feelings for her. And he got that feeling from her wherever she touched him. He was insatiable. The need to inhale her essence almost consumed him. He couldn’t get close enough to her.

Closing his eyes, cold reality made him fear something: what if he just ruined it all?

“Daisy? Are you okay? That got out of hand so quickly. I’m sorry.”

Her head whipped off his shoulder and she became utterly compliant. Her head was resting against him as a child might cuddle her father. Or a soft puppy. Did he trust her now? Yeah, maybe. But what about this?

“Sorry? Don’t you even go there. That was… so incredible. Better than anything I could have ever imagined.”

His heart nearly exploded with relief and pride. He kissed the side of her head, letting her blond hair stick to his lips. She was the best girl he ever knew. Sweet, funny, open and honest. Transparent in her thoughts and feelings. Her life in general, including sex. But she was also tough as hell. Strong and hot too. Not only did she tolerate him wall-fucking her, where some girls might refuse to, but she said it was better than she could have imagined?

“I was afraid you’d run away from me after that.”

“Do it again.”

“What?”

“Fuck me as hard and wild as you can against the wall. Kiss my head with real affection. I like that just as much as wall-fucking. Do both. I love all of it.”

A short laugh escaped him; he was so startled by her answer. His heart pounded for her and he released a long breath. He hugged her against him again, kissing the side of her face this time. Yep, Daisy might have been perfect. He kissed her forehead, twice, then three times before descending to her eyes, her nose, her chin and finally, her mouth. Softly and tenderly his lips peppered hers with more care and hesitation than before.

“Daisy, you are stunning in your beauty. I mean, I noticed that before, but I kept you at arm’s length. I didn’t dare acknowledge it. Seeing you just now, though, is like a fantasy, manifesting right before my eyes. Because I know you now. We connect and that’s never happened to me before. So, I got super turned on and a little carried away by it. I’m so glad to be with you. It wasn’t my plan to do it against a wall, even though it turned out to be the hottest, sweetest, best experience of my life.”

She tilted her head back to look at him after all the kisses, and he dropped his arms loosely around her waist. She reached up and touched his face. “That is exactly how I feel too. Being with my fantasy man probably made it even more overwhelming for me. I was so ready for you; I couldn’t have made it to the wall. I was ready to do it there on the floor where we stood.”

Asher had to smile and squeeze her. Her honest answers were so hot, validating his suddenly earnest need for her.

She was stunning too. Gorgeous and elegant. Not in a usual way. Her shiny bright, long, blond hair, cornflower-blue eyes, and usually tanned skin were head-turners. But add some well-built, curvy but slim girlie parts, and she nearly spilled out of her tops. Her plump butt begged to be cupped.

But now he saw so much more in her than just that. Her beauty wasn’t skin deep, but all through her. When she smiled, he never missed the joy, light and fun that she emitted. It made other beauties seem generic. Daisy was radiant inside and out. She freaking glowed when she smiled and her optimism was contagious. Asher stopped ignoring it and welcomed it inside his brain, heart and soul. Daisy flooded most of his thoughts.

He spun her towards his bed and backed her up. Leaning forward, he kissed her mouth with soft, little pecks. He wanted her to know that sex was only part of his urgent need for her. Her entire personality, outside package, and all the contents therein were what really turned him on.

Daisy was sitting now and he pushed her back gently, following her down on the bed. He kissed every inch of her face, sliding over to her ear and licking the shell before kissing her scalp and neck. Slathering her with affection, which she clearly adored, Asher made her sigh, sounding as contented as a purring kitten. They were lying down facing each other after they stopped kissing and stared at one another. She had a slow, sweet smile for him.

“The fantasy is turning out far better than I imagined.”

“Yeah, well, you’re quickly becoming my favorite fantasy.” Winding a clump of her hair around his fingers he said, “You’re very beautiful.”

“So are you.”

He shook his head. No woman ever said that to him before. She insisted on remaining open, honest, and transparent. Staring up at him, her eyes reflected her feelings. There was no deceit or pretense. She must’ve felt strongly for him, yet instead of games or playing hard to get or acting shy, she admitted them. Even when they made her vulnerable. Being rejected or hurt or embarrassed were risks she ignored.

Respect for Daisy flooded him. “You say what you feel and you mean it, don’t you? Despite how hard it is. Even when you told me how you felt about me for years. I made it so difficult for you but you didn’t back down; you told the truth. I’m sorry I gave you so much shit. And tried to change your mind. I didn’t see how strong you are. We wouldn’t be here if not for your persistence.”

A soft pink blush filled her cheeks. “That’s pretty nice to hear.”

He kissed her again. “And I think you’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known.”

“That’s nice too.”
