I swallow, and step out from under the showerhead, my body heated, inside and out. He doesn’t say anything.
His eyes shine as he looks down at me. “Not a single thing I’ve ever said to you has been cloud talk.”
I add, “Well, I’d say it’s about time to put your money where your—”
Before I can finish, he wraps his arms around my naked flesh and pulls me into him.
Our bodies press together under the hot running water. He clutches my cheek as our mouths wrestle with a kiss, for the fourth time in our lives now.
This one, though—this is definitely different.
There’s no ambiguity about this kiss. There’s no question, there’s no test, there’s no trip abroad hanging over our heads like there was when I was going to Italy.
There’s just pure, raw, true desire for one another.
Grant’s hands explore my hot flesh all over, and he lets out a low, throaty moan.
“Oh, my God, Grant. Yes,” I mutter desperately.
He runs his hands over every inch of my body available to him, which is, well, everything.
I stumble back into the cold tile, which presses against my backside, and is contrasted by the heat of Grant’s…everything.
“Grant,” I whisper in his ear. “I don’t want to be your friend anymore.”
“What do you want to be?” he says back as our chests and bodies heave together.
I stand on my tippy toes and nibble his ear. “No labels.”
He nods, and slides his hand down my backside, and gives the side of my ass a nice little slap which causes me to yelp.
I bite my lip and add, “No labels, no stamps.”
“No stamps?”
My hand slides down his wet front toward his flat stomach. A sideways grin takes over my face. “Unless you want to give me a Grant Stamp,” he says.
