“I remember you said your family lives in San Jose. How come you have grandparents here too?”
Jayden raised her eyebrows. “Yes, my paternal family lives in San Jose.” Pointing to the house, he continued with the conversation. “My maternal grandparents live in this home. Let’s go inside. I can introduce them to you.”
They both walked to the door as Jayden unlocked the door. Entering the house, Talia saw the house filled with Christmas decorations on the walls. Looking at the kitchen, all the places were wiped clean with no dust.
Jayden walked around the house. “Grandpa John… Grandma Taylor… Are you guys home?”
Talia didn’t know what to do, so she just sat on the sofa in the living room. She waited several minutes until Jayden walked back toward her. He sat next to her and sighed.
“I can’t find them in the house. I guess they’re not home now. Let me cook us something to eat so we can be on our way. I’m not sure how long they will be back here.”
Strolling to the kitchen, Jayden opened the fridge. He looked through the fridge to see some minced pork along with several vegetables. Glancing up at Talia, he smiled as he put the tomatoes and lettuces on the table.
“I guess I can cook either spaghetti or salad for us to eat,” Jayde asked as he pointed to both the foods. “Which one do you prefer for now?”
Talia mumbled, “I prefer spaghetti. Is that all right?”
“Sure, that’s fine. Please wait until the meal is done.”
Um… I bet the food would be delicious. I couldn’t wait anymore. I’m very hungry.

Jayden walked around the kitchen to pull out the pans, pots, and dishes. He chopped the tomatoes and mixed them with the chopped pork. He opened a cabinet to pull out some noodles and boiled them in a pot. He only took thirty minutes to prepare the sauce while Talia helped dump the hot water and put the noodles on two bowls.
They took one bowl and mixed it with the sauce. Jayden walked to one of the cabinets and pulled out a strawberry margarita. He poured some into a glass for himself. Remembering that Talia could not drink, he looked in the fridge again and gave a coke bottle to Talia. Pointing to the table, he ushered them to sit down.
“I’m sorry if I sound like I’m boasting earlier,” Jayden smiled as he took a bite of the food. “I’m not that good at cooking, but I tried my best to cook this dish. I hope the spaghetti looks edible to you.”
Talia shook her head. “No worries. Our cooking skills are the same, so I know for sure the food tastes great.”
As they both finished eating their meal, Jayden led them both to the kitchen to clean up their hygiene. While Talia was still brushing her teeth from a spare toothbrush, Jayden walked back to the living room to turn on the TV. Talia finished her business so she walked back to Jayden. She didn’t expect that she would trip on a stool and fell on top of Jayden, who sat on a black couch.
Falling on top of him, Talia accidentally kissed Jayden on the lips. Her face blushed crimson. Not again? What would he think of her this time? Did he think she tried to seduce him?
The action of their bodies being so closed to each other caused them to be shocked. Both stared at each other in the eye, and neither moved a muscle. They had stayed in their position for several minutes before Talia tried to move away from Jayden.
Struggling from his clutch, Talia blushed and moved away from JD. "Sorry! I didn't mean to do that on purpose. Please don't take any offense."
"No, I don't mind at all," Jayden replied as he slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into his arms again. He made them both sit on the couch. "I hope you don’t mind if I continue with our kiss."
Turning her face toward him, he lowered his head and kissed her on the lips. Electricity ran through Talia’s body as the desires within herself intensified at every second. She turned blind eye and gasped as Jayden deepened the force in their kiss.
