Loyal Lawyer(34)
Author: Jeannine Colette

His eyes are hooded, sexy and salivating with lust. I like this expression on him because I’m the one causing it.

His hands slide under my hips and lift me to the bed. He is a man who will put my needs before his own, and while I love his touches, kisses, caresses, I happen to be a woman with no willpower when it comes to this guy. As soon as he takes a seat on the bed, I crawl on top of his thighs and straddle him, lifting my hips so the tip of his erection is dangerously close to my opening.

The head of his cock glides along the outside of my folds, and I want nothing more than to slide down and bury him deep inside me.

Before I can take what I want, Sebastian rubs my clit with one hand and holds on to my ass with the other. With my hands on his shoulders, I lean back and reel in the pleasure as his mouth finds my breast again. He’s all-consuming. A consummate lover who brings me to the brink of ecstasy. My gasps and moans can’t be controlled.

“Sebastian,” I chant out his name for lack of anything else coherent to say.

I desperately want to lower my hips, but his strength halts me from doing so.

With my every frustrated pout, he smiles as he gives faster swirls of his thumb and then sucks on my nipple. I’m gyrating, riding his hand and gripping his hair, pulling and tugging as the intensity of the orgasm he’s been teasing me with builds again.

Higher and higher, I climb. My skin is a sheen of sweat. He’s holding me close, his muscles tightening. My core clenching, my body quaking, and my gasps loud and quick as I come close to exploding.

Sebastian must sense it because just as I arch back and scream out in ecstasy, he lowers me onto him, his cock buried deep inside me as I pulse and come all over his shaft. He pumps inside me as I roll out my orgasm, stretching it out longer and further than any I’ve ever known.

I’m so wet, drenched to the core for this man, and shaking from the inside out.

His hips are moving with a force I’ve never felt, and I meet his motions, feeling every bit of pleasure. He hits the spot deep inside me with the utmost precision that I cry out, unaware I could feel this powerful. His forehead rests against mine as we breathe each other in, gripping tightly and fucking. His eyes are midnight, and a deep line forms in his brow as he fights his own release.

With a swift motion, he flips me onto my back, the contact of our bodies never broken. He lifts my leg over his shoulder and goes in deeper, never stopping the barrage of pleasurable assault. His forehead is coated with sweat. His eyes are pierced dark with ecstasy, and his mouth is pursed, panting.

I lean up onto my elbows and look into his deep stare. “Come for me, Sebastian,” I will him, my voice breathless.

He furrows his brow. “Are you sure?”

“I’m ready for you. I want to feel you lose control.”

That’s all the permission he needs. Like a man of the wild, a lion let loose, he unleashes his inner beast and chases his own pleasure. It’s primal, and it feels incredible. It’s also glorious to look at.

His skin is glazed, his eyes hooded, and those lips are pursed. I can feel his cock growing inside me, filling every inch of me, claiming me. Owning me.

He comes with a growl, and it’s magnificent. He’s beaming with pleasure as he calls out my name on his lips, over and over again, praising the woman who gave him this bout of nirvana.

My body shakes as a final wave of gratification swims through my veins.

As Sebastian lowers his body to me, it’s not in spent energy. He rolls us to our sides, our legs entwined, our hands connected, and he kisses me, romantic and purposeful.

We kiss for hours.

We kiss for days.

We kiss like two people who have just realized they can kiss forever.

And we do. For now.

For now, it’s just the two of us in our bubble with no obstacles of the future.

“After tonight, we’re going to have to move our sleepovers to my place. Your bed is entirely too small.”

I lean back and tilt my head to the side. “You’re staying the night?”

He grins. “I’m not the kind of man who leaves in the middle of the night. Although I will be out very early to change before work and walk Duke. That is, if you’ll have me?”

I run my teeth along my bottom lip and praise the stars for sending me this man. “I want you here. Always.”

“Always sounds like an open invitation.”

My heart flutters. “Then, I want you with me indefinitely.”

He lifts my leg up over his hip and brings us closer. “Then, with you is where I’ll be.”

I curl into his arm and lie with him, basking in the afterglow. It’s a bright and luminous moment. I’ve had feelings like this before. Ones that burn so hot that they scorch everything around it. I try to push those thoughts aside and hope this feeling is different. Maybe this time, the flames won’t destroy me.

Maybe.

Chapter Sixteen

“Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes?” Charity expresses cheekily with outstretched arms as I take my seat at Love and Lavender.

I wave off her dramatic greeting. “Nice to see you too.”

She slides over a latte and a cardboard to-go box. “I ordered for us already. I’m starving.”

As she takes a bite of her sandwich, I open my box and see she picked out the turkey and avocado club. “You’re an angel. I only have thirty minutes before I have an appointment at the bank.”

“Are you picking up the loan check?” she mumbles excitedly with a mouth full of sandwich. Her fingers sneak up to cover her messy chew.

I smile. “I sign the papers right after this. I’m crazy excited and yet absolutely paranoid. I’ve never taken a loan before. I never had college bills to pay off or a car payment. This is serious.”

“Seriously huge! What’s the first order of business? A new kitchen, I presume?”

“No. I think the size works for now—until the orders become too much for the space. I’m revamping the website and looking into some advertising. Adding some new items to the menu. That’s step one.”

She nods in understanding. “If the orders take off, you’ll need to hire Shawn full-time.”

“Gladly so. He’s the best employee ever. Even now, he’s over there, putting boxes together. He could easily gripe that he’s a chocolatier and not a box boy, yet he never complains.”

“And he puts up with your jazz music. You know he plays loud-ass hip-hop when you’re not around.”

“Don’t I know it? He loves to sing into the spatula. Gotten a great show more than once. The guy has no shame.” I laugh as I take a sip of my latte. It’s caramel and creamy, warming my chest. “I wouldn’t have as much confidence with taking on new orders if it wasn’t for Shawn. As soon as I can, I’ll be giving him a raise, for sure.”

Charity pauses before biting her sandwich again. “I think a full-time job is a good start.”

I agree. I have so many plans for Amy Morgana Chocolatier, all mapped out in my vision journal. Taking chances on myself is what I do. I’ve just never done so with such a large price tag attached to it.

I look over at Charity and see she has a huge grin on her face. I close an eye and tilt my head, wondering what the heck she’s thinking to be staring at me like the cat who caught the canary.
