Sacrifice (Savage Fall Sinners MC #2)(38)
Author: Caitlyn Dare

“Sadie Ray, Pretty Boy, get the hell out of my office.”

She stands, pulling me with her.

“And stay out of trouble,” he adds. “We’re in enough shit as it is right now.”

“Yes, Daddy,” she agrees, leading me around his desk so she can drop a kiss to his cheek. “Be nice to them, please? They’re kind of important to me,” she whispers, making him scoff.

Clearly by not being a member, I’m getting off lightly here. Either that or he’s lulling me into a false sense of security by letting me walk out unscathed.

“I can’t make any promises, sweetheart.”

Knowing that's as good as she’s going to get, Sadie pulls me to the door, looking between Rhett and Dane as she does.

A second later, we’re slipping out of the room and into the empty hallway.

“Do you think they’re going to make it out alive?” I ask.

She turns back to me, her dark eyes meeting mine, making my stomach flip in excitement. Sadie slams her palms against my chest and I stumble back, hitting the wall. She presses the length of her body against me as she reaches up on her tiptoes and presses her lips to mine.

“I’m sorry,” she murmurs into our kiss.

“You’re worth it and more, princess.”

A low growl rumbles in her chest as her tongue pushes between my lips. The urge to lift her and switch our position burns through me, but I lock it down, knowing that anyone could walk down here and see us.

Almost as quickly as it started, she pulls back, putting an end to our kiss, leaving my chest heaving and my cock hard.

Clearly being able to feel it against her stomach, she palms me through my jeans.

“Princess,” I growl as she squeezes.

“I’ll make it worth your while,” she promises. “I’ve got a plan. Come on.”

She takes off down the hallway, leaving me to quickly rearrange myself before following.

All eyes turn to us as we enter and I swallow down my nerves as several scary bikers stand, clearly also on board with protecting their princess.

“Stand down, boys,” Sadie announces with amusement. “There’s nothing to see here.”

She marches straight over to Quinn, who’s standing with the wives, and whispers something in her ear. Quinn scowls, clearly not happy with whatever Sadie’s plan is, but after a couple of seconds, she finally concedes and nods.

The two of them hug before Sadie marches behind the bar and collects up a few things. “Come on, Pretty Boy,” she says. “We’ve got a private party to attend.”

She passes me a couple of bottles and I take off after her, more than ready to lose the attention of everyone in the room.

There are a few guys out by the shop, but none of them pay us any attention as we pass. The heat of the afternoon sun warms my skin as I watch Sadie’s ass sway in front of me. I have no idea where she’s leading me, and quite frankly, I don’t care.

“What is this place?” I ask as we walk down a path that appears to be outside of the compound, although I’m not stupid enough to think it is.

“Just wait and see.”

“Is it safe?”

“Do you have a gun?” she asks, turning back to look at me.

“Um… N-no,” I stutter, my pulse ratcheting. “I wasn’t aware that—”

“It’s okay. I have.” She smirks. “I borrowed Dane’s spare when he wasn’t looking.”

I choke on my own spit as the image of Sadie wielding a gun pops into my head.

“You okay there, Pretty Boy?”

“Y-yeah, I’m good.”

“Good, because I need you ready for what I’ve got planned.” She winks and turns around again.

I can’t help but glance at our surroundings. But I can’t see anything other than trees. It doesn’t seem safe, not given the circumstances, but Sadie doesn’t seem too bothered.

“This whole place is protected, Wes. We’re as safe down here as we are up there. Trust me?” she asks, shooting a sultry look over her shoulder.

“Of course.”

“Good. What do you think?” The path opens up before her and she steps aside, showing me the view.

“Oh wow,” I breathe, taking in the gushing waterfall beyond, the clear blue water twinkling in the afternoon sun.

“It’s my favorite place in the world. Well, maybe not the whole world—I’ve never really been outside of Savage Falls, so…” She trails off, probably realizing that she’s rambling.

She leads me over to a lush patch of grass and we lay the bottles in the shade before sitting down. The second her ass hits the ground, I reach over and pull her to me, desperate to continue what we started back in that hallway.

“Hey,” she breathes, looking up into my eyes.

“Hey yourself.” She smiles seductively, making my cock swell once more. “Are you okay? All of this it’s… crazy.” A resigned sigh slips from her lips.

I tuck her closer, rolling her beneath me, needing to feel her body pressed against mine. She shrugs, her large eyes holding mine and allowing me to see everything she’s feeling. “It’s my life. Crazy is normal.”

“I think this is beyond normal, Sadie. Someone is after you.”

“They won’t get to me,” she says, sounding much more confident than I feel.

“You can’t know that.”

“I’ve got one of the best clubs in the country looking after me. I’ve got my three guys protecting me. What more could I need?”

My mind flickers back to the office we left only minutes ago. “You think they’re going to be okay?”

A smile curls up at her mouth. “My dad might look scary, but when it comes to me, he’s a huge teddy bear. He’s just laying down some new ground rules.”

“New?”

“They broke all the old ones when they touched me.”

“I touched you too, so why am I not in there right now?”

“You never had the original rules. You’re in a totally different situation. But rest assured, he will catch up with you.”

“Great,” I mutter, already dreading that conversation.

Sadie chuckles, amusement glittering in her eyes. “Just tell him how awesome you think I am and I’m sure you’ll get along fine.”

“I think you’re awesome?” My brow lifts.

A smile twitches at her lips as her hand slides down my back until she squeezes my ass. “You sure do, Pretty Boy.” Her eyes darken with lust. “Wanna show me just how awesome?”

We make out until we’re both breathless.

“Fuck, you get me so hot,” Wes breathes, sliding his hand between our bodies to cup my breast. He yanks on the neckline and trails his tongue down my skin, licking and nipping. I smother a moan.

“Seems like they started the party without us.” Dane’s gruff voice pierces the air and I glance over to see them heading in our direction. Wes stills above me, but I grab his hair, guiding him back to my chest. Dane chuckles. “Greedy little bitch.” His words make my pulse flutter.
